Jun 8, 2022I’m really loving this game, it’s a wonderful homage to classic platformers. It is incredibly well made, and extremely charming. The only complaint I have is that the popcorn sound effect kinda sounds like someone taking a crap. But it is an amazing game!

Jun 14, 2022Fun throwback to NES/SNES Classic platformers. Challenging but fair, has some repetitive environments but the gameplay overtakes most of the negatives.
-
Jun 14, 2022Great retro game with excellent controls and an endearing theme! Highly recommended and a great value at only $10.
-
Jun 14, 2022Amazing game. Brings me back to Mario World. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys platformers
-
Jun 14, 2022Very fun game, very reminiscent of Super Mario World, and big step up from the original Perils of Baking. I wish it were on Vita

Jun 14, 2022Played the original a while ago. This is such a huge improvement, the challenes are super fun and chasing the plat was hard but really rewarding. Can't reccomend it more for anyone looking for a good ol' classic.

Jun 14, 2022To steal a quote from Lloyd Christmas, "I like it a lot." Fun game with a lot of charm. I'm a fan of the retro style platformers, and if you are too, this is one you should look in to.

Jun 14, 2022Lillymo is at it again, I’ve enjoyed every game they’ve put out. Super Perils of Baking is no different, very fun game at an extremely reasonable price.

Jun 14, 2022Fantastic game, really enjoyed my time with it and felt like a great call back to classic 2D platformers.
-
Jun 14, 2022Fun retro inspired platformer with tight controls, beautiful pixel artwork, and lots of secrets to discover. The inclusion of parallax scrolling really helps give the level design some visual flair. The cart levels are fun, remind me of DKC.

Jun 8, 2022I bought the game to support Lillymo and Colin. I think the game looks pretty good and the writing is fun. The mechanics are rough. The whole game is about jumping (platformer) but that's the worst part. They also throw enemies and drop spikes at times where all you can do is eat the damage.

Jun 9, 2022I'll always support Lillymo and have played all their games, but this was a big miss for me. More annoying and frustrating than fun. I was relieved when I finally got through all 55 levels. Looking forward to their next effort.

Jun 6, 2022Picked it up randomly. Dreadful graphics and sound design. Hurts the ears and eyes

Jun 24, 2022Incredibly charming and beautiful game. Challenging at times but never unfair and a perfect family game for those introducing their kids to how games used to be.

Jun 14, 2022While Super Perils of Baking can feel a tad too generic at times, then, is has to lot to offer for its modest price. It evokes the spirit of 90s platformers that were never as popular as the big hitters – games like Zool, Cool Spot and Boogerman. And so for those who yearn for a new platforming experience that relishes in that old-school feel, it’ll go down a storm. Perhaps the worst thing about it is its soundtrack, but that can be easily remedied. Ultimately, it will never be remembered as a classic, but Super Perils of Baking can at least remind you of the golden days of the genre.
-
Jun 9, 2022Super Perils of Baking is a 16 bit, 2D side scrolling platformer and an ode to the retro game genre in terms of variety, difficulty and platformer peril. It’s jam packed with things to do and collect but you’ll need a sprinkling of rage induced dopamine to get you through the enemies, highs and lows. There’s hours of fun that’s certainly worth your time, especially for the price point.
