Overall, the Super Bomberman Collection is a fantastic and faithful remastering of classic titles. These seven titles which many, including myself, have never played, are addictive and chaotic party games which are best played in couch co-op with friends. Sadly, the lack of online multiplayer leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Thankfully, great quality of life updates and brilliant additions soften the blow. Remasters can sometimes be unwarranted but this is the perfect collection to introduce to a new generation.

Super Bomberman Collection is an all-around fantastic bundle of numerous classic Bomberman games. Fans and newcomers alike will find plenty to enjoy in this, and the series’ evolution throughout the Super Nintendo era is something to behold. Hopefully, later Bomberman games receive similar treatment, as I’d love to give the 3D-era games a go.

Super Bomberman Collection brings all the conveniences that a classic game collection needs, without adding or taking away anything. After recovering from a pachinko overdose, Konami finally seems to have mastered the art of preserving its intellectual properties. I hope the company persists with this initiative, as its treasure trove is still full of relics that deserve to be rescued.

Super Bomberman Collection is a heartfelt tribute to Hudson Soft’s iconic series, delivering seven classic titles, including never-before-localized entries, in one nostalgic package. While it nails the core charm and chaotic fun of the originals, it misses opportunities to modernize the experience in meaningful ways. Longtime fans will appreciate the preserved quirks and expanded local multiplayer, but the lack of online support and quality-of-life updates may frustrate newer players.

Super Bomberman Collection is an excellent retro compilation that revives the series' classic era with seven titles, appealing extras, and the significant inclusion of Super Bomberman 4 and 5 in official form. The gameplay remains addictive, and each entry preserves its distinct identity. However, the absence of modern features such as online play prevents it from reaching its full potential. Even so, it stands as a highly recommended purchase for Bomberman fans and retro gaming enthusiasts alike.

Despite some missed opportunities, Super Bomberman Collection is an incredibly strong group of games available at a super reasonable price. There’s no game in this collection that isn’t at least fun to play and the best games here are some of the best multiplayer titles ever released. Super Bomberman Collection is available now digitally, and while a physical release isn’t coming until August, it’s available for preorder now. Fans will get a wonderful dose of nostalgia and those who are new to the series could hardly ask for a better entryway into the world of Bomberman.

Super Bomberman Collection is a solid, well-crafted compilation offering compelling value for fans of the bomber. Boasting a lineup of the series' best titles alongside previously unreleased entries, modern quality-of-life improvements, and robust multiplayer options, it stands as a worthy collection from Konami’s vault of classics.
