    Sifu is boundlessly entertaining, immensely satisfying, and unrelentingly fresh. Even over a year after its initial release, I was still excited to jump back in, and I'm still excited to go back.

    Wanting to think of a comparison that is not too bold, it could be argued that Sifu is literally like a diamond: shining, very hard and obviously not within anyone's reach.

    As someone who adores games like Spelunky for forcing the player to digest every bit of information, Sifu strikes that exact same spot with the force of a freight train, delivering a combat system that is truly unrivalled. As a game, it's one of the most engaging I've played in some time, it's just a shame that it won't appeal to all players thanks to its surprising difficulty and that it took some developmental liberties with representing Asian voices.

    It all meshes together into a game that's far too difficult and without the satisfaction that comes from making progress in a difficult game. It's like bashing your head against the wall, and unlike other games with this approach, the wall isn't starting to crumble. The wall has grown a smug, laughing face as it prepares to take away one of your character's most important abilities, just in time for the final boss battle.

    I honestly have no issues with this game. I’ve had minimal bugs and an amazing time. I platinumed this in around 7 days after release and II honestly have no issues with this game. I’ve had minimal bugs and an amazing time. I platinumed this in around 7 days after release and I just want more. Since then I’m still coming back to play more. This game and the devs deserve the highest praise for this. More DLC or sequels in the future would be great. The only aspect that could use improvement is a more in depth story but the one given here is not bad by any metric, just simplistic and stock standard. If you haven’t played it already, please give it a try.… Expand

Sifu is so addictive, I spent tons of hours learning the gameplay mechanics, very simple yet quite difficult to master, at least in medium difficulty.

    Everything is so minimalistic, the creative design, the music, the controls, the combos, it's all so simple and perfect. I can just relax at the hideout, listening to the soundtrack and moving the camera around.

    I'm still amazed that I've spent so many hours playing a five-level game, replaying them over and over again. My 1st hours with the game were very frustrating, the enemies were so tough. But as soon as you begin to master the timing of the combat loop, you start becoming so badass. I love how powerful you feel when you kick ass :)    … Expand

    After 6 hours of playing: Fighting mechanics are so cool und gameplay is so much fun. Its very difficult, but I think it's still fair.
