Sep 25, 2022The character customization is humorously lacking and basically unacceptable in 2022. The controls do not feel intuitive at all. I had high hopes, which just makes the drop-off even more pronounced. I couldn't be more disappointed in this game.

Sep 28, 2022This game is simply not fun. They ruined it with the latest update, and the controls are a total mess, and they seem to be unwilling to fix that in the future. Get Skater XL instead.

Sep 29, 2022Skateboarding is difficult, and this simulation reflects that. If you want for the days of pressing X and up on the d pad to do a 900 Christ Air then go do that.

Dec 16, 2022Incomplete game filled with bugs that hinder your ability to finish the story mode. Either the people that manage this game are lazy or incompetent. Waste of time and money, finish your product before you start charging money for it.

Oct 23, 2022Graphics look very old
If you do not know everything about skating tricks you will spend 50% of your time googling what the game wants you to do
Controls are so non-intuitive, it’s like you have to learn a new language just to play the game a little
Camera usage in Film-Mode is not smooth at all
Would recommend this game in a 15$ Sale

Nov 27, 2023The updates for Session: Skate Sim have contributed to the overall immersion and added touches of realism to the experience. While there are still performance issues in places, and I am still having to wear the same beanie/hairstyle, the updates and DLC maps successfully keep the game interesting. By adding new spots and slowly but surely implementing new gameplay elements, Session keeps you coming back for one more try, and to see how you can skate a spot differently. One slight inconvenience when using the board breaking option however, is the lack of skate shops in the DLC maps, meaning you will have to frequently return to other locations or use a blank deck. But overall, Session: Skate Sim remains engaging and is still a fantastic virtual skateboarding sandbox.

Nov 28, 2022Despite how ugly I might find it, there’s no doubt that the gameplay in Session is its strongest suit. The difficulty might not be for everyone, but I urge anyone interested to stick with it and try to embrace what it offers — a sim-like, realistic skating experience. I commend the devs for trying something new and interesting within the genre, and while not as immediately approachable as most games, it’s something that any skating fan should try.

Nov 2, 2022This skateboarding simulation will really torture you. Hardcore players will enjoy it, others not so much. Session: Skate Sim is just an unfinished version of a project with good ideas.
