    Best shooter on PS5 so far. Really, buy this instead of latest CoD and Battlefield
    Pros:
    - Battles
    - Tons of different weapons
    - Atmosphere
    - Dialogs
    - Price
    Cons:
    - Animation in some moments

    Ну, что же. Это всё тот же Serious Sam которого я помню с 2001 года (ну за исключением Serious Sam 2 в 2005м). Кровь, кишки, говно, кости разлетаются в разные стороны. Тупые, не смешные шутки, аля Дюк Нюкем, короче всё на месте. Не хватает одного, новизны.
    Начну с того, что выглядит игра, особенно пейзажи, очень красиво. В последних двух уровнях, про них упомяну не раз, даже скрины    Ну, что же. Это всё тот же Serious Sam которого я помню с 2001 года (ну за исключением Serious Sam 2 в 2005м). Кровь, кишки, говно, кости разлетаются в разные стороны. Тупые, не смешные шутки, аля Дюк Нюкем, короче всё на месте. Не хватает одного, новизны.
    Начну с того, что выглядит игра, особенно пейзажи, очень красиво. В последних двух уровнях, про них упомяну не раз, даже скрины пейзажей нафоткал. Но вот если присмотреться, то в глаза бросаются однотипные деревья, появляющиеся из воздуха текстуры, а о лицевой анимации и говорить не приходится, она родом из 2005 года. Просто видно, что движок который Croteam использует уже много лет, настолько ей перекачан, что выдавая по сути стандартную по прорисовке картинку, тормозит даже на PS5. Croteam, движок надо менять, а не только цифру в названии!
    Хотя новинки в игре то же есть. Так добавили несколько видов оружия, а так же модификации к нему, которые сильно меняют свойства ствола. Оружие теперь можно держать в обеих руках. Имеются некие гаджеты которые могут поменять или улучшить некоторые способности Сэма, а так же помочь в бою, на короткое время. Появилась, хоть и смехотворная, но система прокачки Сэма. Можно ездить на различных видах транспорта, а так же на быках, даже огромного меха завезли. Герой научился лазить по лестницам и вообще в игре появился, о ужас, как ни как вертикальный геймплей. Финального босса придется мочить не только с земли но и в воздухе. В игре появились доп задания, короче можно сбегать "налево", что бы получить ачивку или какую нибудь плюшку, ту же модификацию.
    Что касается сюжета, то авторы попытались даже драмы добавить. М, дааа. Лучше бы и не пытались. А так сюжет как в порнухе.
    Монстры почти все перекочевали из третьей части, ну кроме пары видов.
    Прохождение достаточно продолжительное и за раз, я думаю, вряд ли получится пройти, как предыдущие игры серии.
    Serious Sam 4 вышла только на ПК и нэкстгене, и в последних двух главах понятно почему. Производительность в них, даже на PS5 падает до 15-20 fps. Врагов так много, наверное тысячи, они все взрываются по физике, что иногда просто не видишь где ты находишся.
    Но, что у Serious Sam 4 не отнять, так это великолепной музыки. Видно, что работа над Talos Principle Croteam сильно в этом помогла. Я просто охренел когда в предпоследнем уровне вдруг заиграла хардкордная "Калинка-малинка"!
    И так, резюмирую. Никакой атмосферы и сюжета в игре нет. Это не про то. Мясо, мясо и ещё раз мясо, вот это то, что есть в игре. Особенно когда в руках появляется миниган! Если хотите тупо мяса, то играйте, а во всём остальном это игра с давно устаревшей механикой. Croteam, что то пора менять!
    А ещё я так и не понял, почему Сирианский бык всё таки называется оборотнем, не в одной игре серии он так ни в кого не обернулся!    … Expand

    Serious Sam 4 was a pretty fun game and definitely a good Serious Sam game BUT it doesn’t quite hit the mark for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I need to say the music is 10/10, it’s amazing and really makes the game epic. Now for the not so great parts; There are two points in the game where you lose all your weapons which is kind of annoying as you lose all the unique “gadgets” you haveSerious Sam 4 was a pretty fun game and definitely a good Serious Sam game BUT it doesn’t quite hit the mark for a couple of reasons. The secrets are so well hidden that it becomes almost impossible to find them without a guide and there should be a difficulty between easy and medium. There isn’t much substance to the game but it is Serious Sam so I can’t say there’s been much substance in any of them, they are games made for shooting lots of enemies (which it does well) Either way if you enjoy Serious Sam games then this is definitely worth a go and there are some epic battles near the end!… Expand

    For those who want a brutally raw retro-styled shooter where constant carnage is the order of the day, Serious Sam 4 will sate the bloodlust of even the most maniacal gamers. Not only that, but it’s genuinely funny and well-written, and the trials and tragedies Sam experiences tugged at my jaded heartstrings far more than I expected them to. Many would not enjoy Serious Sam 4 because gunning down endless waves of slavering aliens and mutants becomes brutally relentless – but if you’re a hardcore shooter purist, that’s exactly what you’re looking for.

    Serious Sam 4 is good, mindless fun, that is unfortunately mired by performance issues. This is recommended for big fans of the series, or for those looking for a nostalgia fix, for back when games were simpler, linear affairs which could be completed in a weekend. It’s not a particularly great-looking or running game, but it is also only $39.99 at launch. The full campaign doesn’t overstay its welcome, and its many secrets will tempt completionists. Give it a shot if you like your bloody kills combined with quippy one-liners. Just be ready for a bumpy ride.
