    An amazing fun Coop games and it is amazing to play the girls get your boyfriend's back. the music most excellent ,pixel art looks good

    Worth My Time: Yes, it's real short. Worth My Money: Yes, on sale. What I Like: I came for the gameplay, stayed for the story and presentation. I didn't expect such a fun story, filled with great voice acting. Combat is pretty simple but refined. What I Dislike: It's real short, and if you continue to play past the credits,    Hours Played: 7 Hours

    Worth My Time: Yes, it's real short.
    Worth My Money: Yes, on sale.

    What I Like: I came for the gameplay, stayed for the story and presentation. I didn't expect such a fun story, filled with great voice acting. Combat is pretty simple but refined.

    What I Dislike: It's real short, and if you continue to play past the credits, the post-game is quite grindy. PS5 version is practically the same as the PS4 version, which AFAIK is only extra sounds on the DualSense.

    How It Stacks Up: I think it's main competitor would be Scott Pilgrim, which I think it beats unless you are a big Scott Pilgrim fan or need online/4-play co-op. More recently, it can be compared to Streets of Rage 4, which is a more complex game with a ton more content, but River City Girls is definitely more flashier and fun.     Really love all the seemingly infinite references to old Kunio universe lore, other games, movies, memes etc, and the very humorous dialogues !!! Overall an awesome beat-'em-up that fans should definitely not missing out !!!

    While it was a slow start I enjoyed my time in River City with Misako and Kyoko. The hand drawn art is incredible and the song list adds to the pacing and overall vibe. The move list eventually gets into enough depth to feel like a new addition to the genre. I’m eager for River City Girls 2. We’ll see how Wayforward changes up an already strong entry on the next go-round.

    With the problematic screen transition issue fixed and some other tweaks implemented since launch, River City Girls is in better shape than ever no matter what format you play it on. But factor in a sprinkling of PS5-centric improvements, and you have what is undoubtedly the best version of the game yet. If you’re a fan of side-scrolling beat ’em ups, consider this a must-have.
