    I have enjoyed this game since release. I would love to see more content moving forward. Can't wait.

    The PS5 version is awful! RE1 was great on the PS4 (intuitive interface geared towards a console, solid framerate). RE2 has noticeably laggie framerate (with relatively bad graphics). Also the interface is clearly geared towards PC. Also, they disabled the 'Easy' Rail Network mode in RE2. It feels like a beta port that they'll never improve.

    Railway Empire 2 has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time super detailed world feels very lived in fun challenging gameplay that's not overly complicated very satisfying in depth systems and a great 5 campaign story each teaching you important lessons there is also lots of fascinating scenarios and a robust and specific tutorial.Frames can get pretty low on ps5 when zoomedRailway Empire 2 has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time super detailed world feels very lived in fun challenging gameplay that's not overly complicated very satisfying in depth systems and a great 5 campaign story each teaching you important lessons there is also lots of fascinating scenarios and a robust and specific tutorial.Frames can get pretty low on ps5 when zoomed in on the heavily detailed areas multiplayer connection on Ps5 is not great the online matches disconnects in 5-10 minutes from start. The competitor and sabotage systems could get a tropico 6 kinda overhaul dlc and new industries and places could be added as well, even though there is plenty of content already Im looking very much forward to potential future dlc.… Expand

    Railway Empire 2 may not be a perfect fit for console play but I still loved my time with it and I definitely hope that it gets updated to help make it more accessible and streamlined. Although it can be a great deal of track-laying fun, I currently prefer the first game.

    Other game modes feel slightly less frenetic than the campaign and scenario modes, and are definitely the modes to try if you really want to take your time and not feel rushed. There's definitely a lot of opportunity to play the game exactly how you want to, and find the mode that works for you if you feel the competitive options are a bit too stressful.
