    If you have fond memories of early Puzzle Bobble games, you’ll get a sweet nostalgia kick out of Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey. It looks fantastic, and with 100 campaign levels alongside an infinite and duel mode, there’s a generous amount of content for its modest asking price. There’s a lot of fun to be had, no doubt – but you’ll not be able to shake the nagging feeling that it’s just not quite as enjoyable as its 2D counterparts.

    It's Puzzle Bobble in 3D and on your PS5. Fundamentally it does all work but the twitchy controls do spoil the fun a little. PSVR gamers will probably get more out of it but the sharp PS5 visuals are probably the high point of this version of the game.

    Bub and Bob embark in a new adventure, this time in 3D... and VR! Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey is a decent puzzle game despite some annoying technical problems, surprisingly better in virtual reality than standard mode.
