    The game seems a little entertaining from what I am able to play...coming from Gears of War, Destiny and Division I know what to expect. The reason for the 0 score is because of the fact that I purchased a game for $60 that is basically unplayable due to the servers.

    This game is absolutely incredible, anyone who says otherwise is just inpatient or yes the servers are bad but they’re getting much better in just the few days it’s been out. Give it a chance and it will blow you away.

    It is honestly kinda hard to believe many of the people that did the original Gears of war made this game. If you were to just go play the original Gears right now. Which I have done to test. It feels better, and looks almost as good lol.

    Overall the game just feels rushed and unfinished and poorly balanced at almost every lvl.     Overall the game just feels rushed and unfinished and poorly balanced at almost every lvl. Playing through the game with max world tier enabled is simply frustrating and insanely hard much of the time. But if you choose to just exploit the unbalanced abilities in the game. It won't matter at all. And they game will still be easy, but insanely unfun.

    One of my tests of a GREAT game, is one that when the game gets harder, it actually manages to become more fun, because you start to utilize all the game mechanics in the ways they were meant to be. For example, playing old God of War games on low difficulty, a player could never touch counter mechanic and beat the game. But if you want to beat the game on the two hardest mechanics you have to learn to counter every enemies moves. Fun, rewarding, deeper game play with increased difficulty.

    Comparing Outriders to that. We find that harder difficulty in Outriders, you simply abuse the bad AI, lure one, two, or three of the strongest enemies away. Use broken unbalanced abilities like Gravity run to become invulnerable while you wait out the timer on you bullet shield abilities. And just rise and repeat until the enemies with ungodly amounts of health are dead. You use 2 or 3 moves. You do nothing fun or active. And it takes 15min or so because the enemies are literally of a bullet sponge nature so disgusting I would have to reclassify the enemies as bullet black holes. In short UNBALANCED. And seemingly UNTESTED.

    For an example I timed how long it takes to beat the last boss with a pretty decent lvl 30 character, and it is around 45min. And this gets worse if you didn't spec your character to fight that boss specifically. And what do you do for 45min? The same exact thing OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER. It is so mind numbingly stupid it is hard to believe anyone wrote off on this game.

    I could of on and on on why this game is worth at most $20. But just believe the bad reviews on this one. It isn't ready, it isn't balanced or tested. It isn't good at all. I honestly thing it probably can't be fixed either, as the core is just boring.

    Initially especially after the demo I was excited and really looking forward to it...however tue launch was absolutely pathetic. The first 3 it came out I couldnt even play it because their servers absolutely fried themselves after enjoying it for a few days I didn't want to play it because I was scared a bug could erase my entire progress.

It takes me 8 tries to log in, 5 more attempts to find a lobby I can join which is then so laggy it is unplayable. Everytime I get disconnected the whole game crashes. It is absolutely unplayable. It is a very disappointing mess. Games should not be released like that. Whoever thought the game was ready for the market should reconsider their job.    … Expand

    BUT it's like a better story driven "Remnant From The Ashes".., with a cool difficulty, when playing co-op (but too hard when soloing it, unless u pick the easiest class).., and gud cover-action controls, once used to it (and it    giving it a 9, to counter some of the low scores.., it has some login & early bug issues, and trying to solo it can be painful unless switch down the difficulty..

    how can I write a proper review when I can not even log in? Do you know how many times I have to close the game and restart just to log in ? so disappointing.... and I would have never bought this game if the crossplay is unstable like this... I got them because I wanted to play with my friends playing in PC. i will never support Sqaure Enix and ppl can fly anymore.     Ce jeux a mes yeux ne mérite pas plus de 3 , car il est trop loin de ce qu'il ce fait en matière de graphisme ( énorme retard ) de gameplay , de narration etc. de nos jours . Quand tu passes apres les grosses licenses actuelles tu te dis que le cross gen parfois n'a pas que du bon ....

    Dire qu'il y en a qui ose parler d'un mix parfait entre destiny 2 et gears 5....

    Hard pass judging by the mediocre demo, but maybe I'll be proven wrong on it's full release. (I highly doubt it though). It would be hard to pick something like this over the upcoming Returnal which looks great.

    Amazing game, was able to play it on April 1st and it’s a blast with friends til today April 2nd server get wonky cant play it solo or with friends. Found out they use trash server ( p2p) worse choice people can fly ever made

    It is a great game, but don't try to play it, you won't be able to get a server connection.
    Have been trying to play the campaign, but so far I find that when I have the Time to play, the server are down. The game could be the most perfect thing in the world, but if you cannot access it, then it just isn't worth anything.

    Playing it with my friends, we all were very hyped since the demo and are now enjoying it very much. Yes it has server problems right now but its still a very fun game with great gameplay/loot mechanics and later very stunning levels.

    I played 12 hours in a row today, stopping for eating and shower. I am addicted. I don't feel this way for a while. This game is awesome. Servers are fine now. Let's go. Outriders.

    I feel like I already play this game before. Destiny, Gears of War, The Division. Another generic, uninspired and cash grab game that don't have anything meaningful to say. Waste of time.

    Few server troubles at launch don't make this a bad game, it's a great shooter which is hiding a surprising amount of RPG depth, well worth buying for any fans of ARPGs.

    I love outriders, but there are definitely some things that stop me from loving it as much as I could.
    This is a 3rd person cover based shoote that can be played both solo and online with up to 3 players.
    I stuck to this games campaign solo and it took me about 14 hours to get through.. The game starts with you creating your own charcter, and the story here.. well it might as well not even exist.. I couldn’t tell you anything, I couldn’t even tell you how the game ends if I wanted to, basically a storm happens, youre frozen, youre unfrozen 20 years late futurama style, and you come out and wanna shoot stuff.
    The gameplay here is super fun and addictive.. most of the time.. thing gears of war meets mass effect meets the division.. obviously outriders feels nowhere near as polished and detailed as those games.. but for a first attempt in a series, this is a really good one… Something unique here that has promise but major issues is the tier system.. instead of choosing a difficulty, the game gets harder as you progress, everyone starts at story difficuolty, then you unlock easy, normal, hard, expert, and so on… however once you get to a tier you find too challenging aka too annoying youre free to drop back to any previously unlocked tier that youd like… and this is what I did on m way to tier 6, I dropped back to normal.. and why you might ask? I loved the challenge tier 5 was giving me.. however outriders is desined as a games of service game and for that reason, the checkpoints throughout the campaign are awful.. ontop of that there are insane random difficulty spikes… youll go from having an nice challenge to waves of enemies that have you wanting to bang your head against the wall, oyull get so close to the end, or completete the first wave and lose to some scrub and have to start all the way back at the beginning of wave 1 instead of the wave your died on.. enough to again make you want to drop down to normal difficulty.. however… even in normal these random spikes occur, theres even one enemy called the shaman warlord that is so unbalanced and overpowered that I had to drop down to story difficulty…
    Im sure I could have eventually beat them on normal, but story took 3 minutes, normal would’ve taken like an hour. It just wasn’t worth the effort,,, balancing in general I outriders biggest problem.. from random enemies feeling overpowered to random difficulty spikes and awful checkpoint system… so the gameplay can go from great to frustrating, the story is trash, why is outriders so good?
    Well that comes in the form of its looter hook… at the beginning of the game you choose one of 3 classes, and its so addictive to find weapons through this game and try to tailor them to your specific playstyle.. overcome these sometimes annoying challenges with a feeling god like power… as as you level up, youll choose 3 abilities to have at yoru disposal during combat… there is post game content though.. and plenty… the story mode is essentially you getting your character ready for the online bits.. even though of course you can play through the story with friends… but after the game is where leveling up your tier really starts to matter, this is where youll be challenging yourself to unlock new areas and collect all of these fallen pods…I however personally found the actual world of outriders to be pretty lack luster and uninteresting.. so naturally I have no interest in going off and grinding.. though I do believe the mechanics are fun enough here for plenty who would based on that alone…
    Outriders again has potential as a series.. would I play outriders 2? Yes…
    s again I loved the gameplay hook and Id love a sequal that balances everything out better.
    Am I clamoring for outriders 2? No.
    Again the story and world are lacking, and im not quite sure how the team over at people can fly can fix it.
    I give Outriders

    Me gusta mucho la opción de cambiar el nivel de mundo (Dificultad), ya que reta al jugador para obtener mejores recompensas aumentando el nivel, pero e puede bajar el nivel si quieres jugar sin frustrarte por perder a cada rato.

    The game is actually good, but the game crashes and disconnects make it unplayable. No offline single player and always on compulsion have let the fun of the game fall into a deep hole. If you have time to play, you can't do it.

    Hard to say anything that hasn't been said yet, but Outriders was a very promising game for fans of the looter shooter genre but it just doesn't deliver an exciting experience as promised. In the end, it's an above average game that doesn't bring anything new to the table (which is really not a problem), but also doesn't refine all the mechanics that we already know from similar games.     This game is fantastic. The gameplay is fun and the story is great! There are dumb things and buggy things, and that's what I took the point away for, but they have greatly improved it recently and it is such a good "fun with friends" game! The buffs mean that it just gets more and more fun!

    Just a simple DPS Shooter. Skill system ist müll. Einzige sinnvolle skillung ist mit Element Munition damit man Austeilen kann. Die Klassen sind mehr oder weniger unwichtig Tank braucht man nicht Heilung durch andere Spieler ist fast sinnlos also Supportklassen auf DPS skillen. Es Also bei allen Klassen den oberen tree skillen. Steuerung oft schlecht. Charaktere Klassen sehen alle gleichJust a simple DPS Shooter. Skill system ist müll. Einzige sinnvolle skillung ist mit Element Munition damit man Austeilen kann.     Dont listen to half the bad reviews havnt encountered a single bug and the game is ridicoulsy fun its like gears of war borderlands 3 and destiny had a baby 10/10 would reccomend and the boss fights are sick.

    The good- The combat is pretty fun, and the loot system is pretty rewarding. I enjoy modding the guns and making builds for my character. The bad- Pretty much everything else. I wouldn't recommend this game in it's current state to anyone. The story and acting is also atrocious.

    This game is broken. I don't know where the positive reviews on this outlandishly horrible game are coming from...but this has got to be one of the worst games I've tried in a long time. This is "Anthem" bad. First off...if you are lucky enough to acutally get into the game...the games graphics are bad....just bad.

    Super fun game, no microtransactions whatsoever. Not sure what people mean by "focused on lootbox" when it's a looter shooter without lootboxes, game runs perfectly on PS5. The developer listens to the fans and if they can fix the server issues (naturally you will have server issues on release day) then it'll be even better.

    Grafica discreta,gameplay frenetico e storia bella ma un po’ anonima..ha tutte le carte in regola per diventare un punto di riferimento Diablolike/lootshooter.

    Nice game, I loved the game's thematic and its story, hopefully it isn't a co-op only game. It's a very fun game, despite the fact that it needs online connection to play the singleplayer mode.

    Servers down often. Gameplay is quite Ok but i dont unserstand why there is No in game communication on ps5. Warzone is a good example of that there is a possibility to do that. I spend a full price on it... How can it be coop based game without even an Opportunity to talk to each other

    I actually came on my ps5 and actually felt like it was playable here. But the main problems do stay. The boring tone. The un-original band of voice actors. And the stretched out feeling of "deja vu"

    It simply doesn’t work. I would like to give a proper review: but the servers are always down. Giving the fact I want to play solo (and I am able to do so), I expect to be able to play offline.

    Only a few hours in after buying the game after my mate said he really enjoyed it and not been disappointed by it apart from the server troubles but that will get sorted. Seriously love the loot and can't wait to start upgrading them. Really hope they keep supporting the game with expansions.

    Fun, fluid, feels good, and I’m loving it 45 hours in. I’m on PS5 and other than some small bugs (like with all games at launch) during cinematics I’ve had no issues other than a good time. They had some server issues the day after release. I can see so many negative reviews from people who have clearly not played it. Destiny and CoD have constant server issues, yet when a new, and FUNFun, fluid, feels good, and I’m loving it 45 hours in.     The shooting is great, campaign is long, tons of interesting side quests and a crafting/modding system that can keep you busy for many hours coming up with interesting builds. A few quality of life patches and this game could be nearly perfect.

Every quest essentially boils down to kill a boss or kill an elite badguy in order to progress. Every quest turning into a major boss fight against the same enemy gets both frustrating and boring

    Non-working HDR that looks worse than SDR and devs are so lazy than even knowing that HDR isn't working don't allow to disable it in-game. In-game HDR-brightness setting is a kind of joke, 1st time seeing that kind of incompetence.

    The Bad:
    If the story is more interesting than it looks, the cut-scenes on the other hand are globally pretty cheap.

    The Ugly:

    Worth mentioning. Anyway-- the game:

    THE GOOD:

    * ARPG elements are top class, for a looter-shooter. Unlike Destiny where everything is reduced to a "light" level and customization is actually incredibly limited, I already find myself daydreaming about the kind of builds I might make in the future. If you're like me and love thinking of builds and creating alts-- this game is for you.

    * Weapon mods, skills, and skill trees: Once you start looting blue guns (fairly soon into the game), you'll find that guns have "Mods" which, when combined with a solid skill tree, can start working together and synergizing for the creative player almost immediately.

    * The story, the atmosphere, and the voice acting are all top-class. I can only speak to the male protagonist, but this is the first RPG where I'm not just spamming the "Skip Dialogue" option.

    * On that note, the lore is cool. It's a cool idea for a setting.

    * Skill tree resets are FREE...FOREVAAAAAA!

    THE BAD:

    * The aiming on console is VERY difficult to get used to. It really sucks. They have a weird sort of logarithmic aiming setup that you can't turn off yet. This is knocking this game down from a perfect score, and the gunplay/movement suffers greatly for it. If you're from the dev team and reading this, (first off, thank you for the awesome game!) please allow a toggle here for aiming setups.

    YOU'LL LIKE IT IF:

    1) You want Diablo in Space With Guns
    2) You like daydreaming about different builds and making alts
    3) You like solid RPG stories / lore / worldbuilding

    YOU'LL HATE IT IF:

    1) You're not into the "RPG" stuff and are looking for a game with smooth gunplay (Console only)    … Expand

    Gears of Borderlands! look this game is not for everyone, but if you like loot grinding with super tight game play then this game is in your wheelhouse. the story is fine nothing crazy but I find myself liking the little interactions and the game's general "don't give a f**k" narrative.

    I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Despite its server issues, it's an amazing looter shooter with an awesome story that can be enjoyed with friends.Outriders has a lot of potential to be something great, let's hope they can live up to it.

    Game is amazing! I just hit level 30 and I'm almost done with the story. The story had some cool twists to it and I loved most of the side quests. Most games the side quests are boring but these side quests were great. Yes I ran into server issues but I don't remember a launch in the last 5 or so years that didn't have a terrible server issue on launch. The class system takes some time toGame is amazing! I don't want to be handed a bunch of them quickly like other looters ie Destiny. Overall I love the game and can't wait to see where it goes from here.… Expand

    Enoch rules! Really solid game and story. I really enjoy the side quests actually having significance to the main storyline. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a Destiny-lite with a touch of Division.

    After they fix some post launch server issues I would rate it a 10. Controls are tight. Reminds me of The Division and Destiny.Difficulty settings are evolving and perfect. Combat and loot is *chefs kiss*

    Update: Played for 2 days now and servers are fixed and game is awesome.

This is not Anthem or Destiny. PCF took elements of those games, but ultimately got their flavor from Diablo. Yes there were server issues, but are mostly fixed now.     A fun mix of gear of war + the division + destiny. fluid combat with challenging combat. an easy method of assembling your build. playing with friends is highly recommended

    Fantastically fun game. There have been a couple of issues with servers but for the most part it's been fine for my mates and I. When playing alone it's a fun experience battling through various enemies and monsters but when you add friends into the fray that's where it really shines.

    We didn’t exactly see anything new in Outriders, to be honest. The game delivers a fair amount of content in terms of levels, weapons, or skills. However, from the gameplay point of view, it’s nothing more than meeting aliens, zombies and insurgents in paintball arenas for 15 straight hours, plus the expeditions.

    In two highly competitive genres, this crossbreed may go unnoticed, but its difficulty system should be taken into account. It’s advisable to embark on the campaign of this shooting RPG since Outriders offers tons of hours of fun, invites players to play with friends, and has appealing visuals. Fans of both RPGs and shooters can get a lot out of it, but they shouldn’t expect a revolutionary game, for it is a mixed bag of interesting features and cliches. Even though the journey is enjoyable, Outriders is neither a strong contender in the RPG elite nor in the shooting universe.

    Outriders is not a perfect game by any means. Its narrative, while containing some fun characters, feels somewhat underdeveloped. The conflict between the intended aggressive style of play and the omnipresent walls for cover lead to a strange kind of dissonance where the level design feels at odds with the most fun way of playing the game. The server issues are ongoing and can occasionally make the game inaccessible. The endgame is a lot of fun, but only if you’re playing in a group. When the experience is working well, it is a ton of fun shooting your way through hordes of enemies and marvelling at the latest rare gear. However, while the flaws do not ruin the experience, they are notable.
