    Fun, fluid, feels good, and I’m loving it 45 hours in. I’m on PS5 and other than some small bugs (like with all games at launch) during cinematics I’ve had no issues other than a good time. They had some server issues the day after release. I can see so many negative reviews from people who have clearly not played it. Destiny and CoD have constant server issues, yet when a new, and FUNFun, fluid, feels good, and I’m loving it 45 hours in. I’m on PS5 and other than some small bugs (like with all games at launch) during cinematics I’ve had no issues other than a good time. They had some server issues the day after release. I can see so many negative reviews from people who have clearly not played it. Destiny and CoD have constant server issues, yet when a new, and FUN game comes out its then servers are trash, let me leave a 0 because I couldn’t get on for a day because of a new ip launch. If you like fun, get the game. I got burned by Anthem, and Cyberpunk. I usually don’t do reviews. But I saw waaaay too much hate here from trolls or people who played the demo for an hour. This game is awesome, and I’m gonna continue playing it now. Worthy of $60 IMO, Cheers!… Expand

    My score would've been 8-9 but I'm countering unfair scores. This game isn't as bad as some people say it is. You can't factor server issues into a review score because that's not judging the game itself. The only real negative is how derivative it is, and some may not even see it as a negative.     Servers are good now. Game itself is the third or fourth best looter shooter I've ever played lol.

    One of my favourite TPP shooter. So underrated, this One have really excellent story, good shooting mechanic and awesome looting system. Shame it didnt got better reviews, because I would love to see sequel one day. I will definitely play this game in comming years, already finished this on XSX from XGP, now I bought a copyright on PS5 to support devs and to play this again.

    Super fun game, no microtransactions whatsoever. Not sure what people mean by "focused on lootbox" when it's a looter shooter without lootboxes, game runs perfectly on PS5. The developer listens to the fans and if they can fix the server issues (naturally you will have server issues on release day) then it'll be even better.

    Je n'y joue qu'en mode solo et j'adore. C'est un mélange parfait entre the division et gears of war avec une histoire plus intéressante. Difficile de décrocher.

    Very Underrated game. The update really helped with the loading times on ps5. Super fast. Coop has no lag for me, we bought it as a group and we have fun playing it. The different landscape and levels look fantastic. Yes it missed chat and there are invisible walls. But for $20 its a enjoyable game. To counter I give it a 10 but a 8.5 is more fair.

    This game is broken. I don't know where the positive reviews on this outlandishly horrible game are coming from...but this has got to be one of the worst games I've tried in a long time. This is "Anthem" bad. First off...if you are lucky enough to acutally get into the game...the games graphics are bad....just bad.

Unless you plan on being a completionist and finishing all of the post-game, there's no point in playing beyond World Level 3 or 4. It doesn't matter, though, because enemies scale to you. Story was interesting and I hope they make a sequel. Froze and crashed a lot on Xbox One X, butBest game I've played in a long time.     Gears of Borderlands! look this game is not for everyone, but if you like loot grinding with super tight game play then this game is in your wheelhouse. the story is fine nothing crazy but I find myself liking the little interactions and the game's general "don't give a f**k" narrative.

    Gioco veramente particolare,le prime ore sembra non dirti nulla,ma appena decolla diventa veramente divertente,ti da dipendenza.
    Grafica discreta,gameplay frenetico e storia bella ma un po’ anonima..ha tutte le carte in regola per diventare un punto di riferimento Diablolike/lootshooter.

    This game is actually amazing, I’ll leave it up to others that want to play to explore the world and collect loot, but you will all love this game if you enjoy games like Destiny and Gears of Wars.

    Nice game, I loved the game's thematic and its story, hopefully it isn't a co-op only game. It's a very fun game, despite the fact that it needs online connection to play the singleplayer mode.

    Playing it with my friends, we all were very hyped since the demo and are now enjoying it very much. Yes it has server problems right now but its still a very fun game with great gameplay/loot mechanics and later very stunning levels.

    Game is amazing! I just hit level 30 and I'm almost done with the story. The story had some cool twists to it and I loved most of the side quests. Most games the side quests are boring but these side quests were great. Yes I ran into server issues but I don't remember a launch in the last 5 or so years that didn't have a terrible server issue on launch. The class system takes some time toGame is amazing! The world tier is a great idea to make endgame an interesting run for loot and to make the game longer in the end. Getting legendaries is hard but I like that. I don't want to be handed a bunch of them quickly like other looters ie Destiny. Overall I love the game and can't wait to see where it goes from here.… Expand

    PCF have been super transparent and the level of communication has been fantastic the game won’t blow you away graphics or story wise but damn is it fun

    After they fix some post launch server issues I would rate it a 10. Controls are tight. Reminds me of The Division and Destiny.Difficulty settings are evolving and perfect. Combat and loot is *chefs kiss*

    Update: Played for 2 days now and servers are fixed and game is awesome.

    For all the people who are giving it a low score and saying not worth the money, I recommend you go play Fortnite and don't ever buy a game again because you don't deserve it. They had a demo so that you TRY it before saying not worth the money.     A fun mix of gear of war + the division + destiny. fluid combat with challenging combat. an easy method of assembling your build. playing with friends is highly recommended

    Dont listen to half the bad reviews havnt encountered a single bug and the game is ridicoulsy fun its like gears of war borderlands 3 and destiny had a baby 10/10 would reccomend and the boss fights are sick.

    Très fun en coop, assez joli et avec une bonne durée de vie, Outriders est assez addictif. J’espère qu’il y aura des DLC afin de parcourir d’autres contrées sur cette nouvelle planète hostile

    The shooting is great, campaign is long, tons of interesting side quests and a crafting/modding system that can keep you busy for many hours coming up with interesting builds. A few quality of life patches and this game could be nearly perfect.

    Pretty fun Looter-Shooter-RPG TBH. It is not very inspired as it reminds games like Destiny, Gears of War, Anthem and even Lost Planet, but everything works fine here.

    The most interesting part of this game is how it let you build your character/class. Unlike Destiny, you can play the same class than a friend but have 2 completely different build, as each of the 4 classes have 3 unique trees. The game also let you modify your pieces of armor and weapon for even more possibilities, like a true good RPG.

    It runs pretty well on PS5, with a sharp image quality, smooth 60 fps and very short loadings. Visually not the most impressive game I've played, but it offer a lot of pretty environments with very different vibes.

    The Bad:
    If the story is more interesting than it looks, the cut-scenes on the other hand are globally pretty cheap.

    The Ugly:
    You can't play this game offline (even solo), and launch suffers from very annoying server issues.    … Expand

    Worth mentioning. Anyway-- the game:

    THE GOOD:

    * ARPG elements are top class, for a looter-shooter. Unlike Destiny where everything is reduced to a "light" level and customization is actually incredibly limited, I already find myself daydreaming about the kind of builds I might make in the future. If you're like me and love thinking of builds and creating alts-- this game is for you.

    * Weapon mods, skills, and skill trees: Once you start looting blue guns (fairly soon into the game), you'll find that guns have "Mods" which, when combined with a solid skill tree, can start working together and synergizing for the creative player almost immediately.

    * The story, the atmosphere, and the voice acting are all top-class. I can only speak to the male protagonist, but this is the first RPG where I'm not just spamming the "Skip Dialogue" option.

    * On that note, the lore is cool. It's a cool idea for a setting.

    * Skill tree resets are FREE...FOREVAAAAAA!

    THE BAD:

    * The aiming on console is VERY difficult to get used to. It really sucks. They have a weird sort of logarithmic aiming setup that you can't turn off yet. This is knocking this game down from a perfect score, and the gunplay/movement suffers greatly for it. If you're from the dev team and reading this, (first off, thank you for the awesome game!) please allow a toggle here for aiming setups.

    YOU'LL LIKE IT IF:

    1) You want Diablo in Space With Guns
    2) You like daydreaming about different builds and making alts
    3) You like solid RPG stories / lore / worldbuilding

    YOU'LL HATE IT IF:

    1) You're not into the "RPG" stuff and are looking for a game with smooth gunplay (Console only)    … Expand

    Each class has a huge skill tree which is then complimented by what mods you want to imbue your guns and armour with. It’s then gets crazier with higher level gear, as each piece will come with an ability not fixed to a specific class. So you could be using the Trickster class and have a helm that provides shields for making kills with your blade but then the level 2 and 3 mods could emit an earthquake aura and high damage discharge that activates when your shield depletes. And that’s just one piece of armour...

    I never had any issues with the severs on PS5.
    I’d highly recommend this game.
    The only downside for me, is that it doesn’t look next gen but it plays like nothing else out there right now.

    Only a few hours in after buying the game after my mate said he really enjoyed it and not been disappointed by it apart from the server troubles but that will get sorted. Seriously love the loot and can't wait to start upgrading them. Really hope they keep supporting the game with expansions.

    Me gusta mucho la opción de cambiar el nivel de mundo (Dificultad), ya que reta al jugador para obtener mejores recompensas aumentando el nivel, pero e puede bajar el nivel si quieres jugar sin frustrarte por perder a cada rato.
    Creo que la mejor manera de jugarlo es en    El juego me enganchó desde el inicio. Tiene una historia interesante, nada espectacular, pero si te mantiene intrigado.

    It may have some bugs, but I hope the may get solved in a future. If you are into looter shooters... then What are you waiting for? Go buy it.

    Wow The Story Man....Better Than many AAA Titles. We were complaining in the DEMO about cutscenes but sure thing they are important to the Story. 9/10 - YOU HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING YET...

    I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Despite its server issues, it's an amazing looter shooter with an awesome story that can be enjoyed with friends.Outriders has a lot of potential to be something great, let's hope they can live up to it.

    Enoch rules! Really solid game and story. I really enjoy the side quests actually having significance to the main storyline. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a Destiny-lite with a touch of Division.

This is a good game and gets better considerably after the prologue section. By then your abilities are becoming more substantial and your firepower.     I am having a blast in this game. So much customization with mods, difficulty spikes and the real power fantasy Diablo feel later on. This game is Diablo with guns and space powers. This is not Anthem or Destiny. PCF took elements of those games, but ultimately got their flavor from Diablo. Yes there were server issues, but are mostly fixed now.     Fantastically fun game. There have been a couple of issues with servers but for the most part it's been fine for my mates and I. When playing alone it's a fun experience battling through various enemies and monsters but when you add friends into the fray that's where it really shines.

Sure The transitions are annoying and we had some launch day sever issues as to be expected for games in this genre, but other than that the game nails it.     Wasn't sure what to expect but if you enjoy third person shooters, definitely worth it. Very enjoyable and so far a very stable experience (couple of small bugs but nothing game breaking, and no server drops since I started on the 03.04).

    This game is fantastic. The gameplay is fun and the story is great! There are dumb things and buggy things, and that's what I took the point away for, but they have greatly improved it recently and it is such a good "fun with friends" game! The buffs mean that it just gets more and more fun!

    Few server troubles at launch don't make this a bad game, it's a great shooter which is hiding a surprising amount of RPG depth, well worth buying for any fans of ARPGs.

    I love outriders, but there are definitely some things that stop me from loving it as much as I could.
    This is a 3rd person cover based shoote that can be played both solo and online with up to 3 players.
    I stuck to this games campaign solo and it took me about 14 hours to get through.. The game starts with you creating your own charcter, and the story here.. well it might as well not even exist.. I couldn’t tell you anything, I couldn’t even tell you how the game ends if I wanted to, basically a storm happens, youre frozen, youre unfrozen 20 years late futurama style, and you come out and wanna shoot stuff.
    The gameplay here is super fun and addictive.. most of the time.. thing gears of war meets mass effect meets the division.. obviously outriders feels nowhere near as polished and detailed as those games.. but for a first attempt in a series, this is a really good one… Something unique here that has promise but major issues is the tier system.. instead of choosing a difficulty, the game gets harder as you progress, everyone starts at story difficuolty, then you unlock easy, normal, hard, expert, and so on… however once you get to a tier you find too challenging aka too annoying youre free to drop back to any previously unlocked tier that youd like… and this is what I did on m way to tier 6, I dropped back to normal.. and why you might ask? I loved the challenge tier 5 was giving me.. however outriders is desined as a games of service game and for that reason, the checkpoints throughout the campaign are awful.. ontop of that there are insane random difficulty spikes… youll go from having an nice challenge to waves of enemies that have you wanting to bang your head against the wall, oyull get so close to the end, or completete the first wave and lose to some scrub and have to start all the way back at the beginning of wave 1 instead of the wave your died on.. enough to again make you want to drop down to normal difficulty.. however… even in normal these random spikes occur, theres even one enemy called the shaman warlord that is so unbalanced and overpowered that I had to drop down to story difficulty…
    Im sure I could have eventually beat them on normal, but story took 3 minutes, normal would’ve taken like an hour. It just wasn’t worth the effort,,, balancing in general I outriders biggest problem.. from random enemies feeling overpowered to random difficulty spikes and awful checkpoint system… so the gameplay can go from great to frustrating, the story is trash, why is outriders so good?
    Well that comes in the form of its looter hook… at the beginning of the game you choose one of 3 classes, and its so addictive to find weapons through this game and try to tailor them to your specific playstyle.. overcome these sometimes annoying challenges with a feeling god like power… as as you level up, youll choose 3 abilities to have at yoru disposal during combat… there is post game content though.. and plenty… the story mode is essentially you getting your character ready for the online bits.. even though of course you can play through the story with friends… but after the game is where leveling up your tier really starts to matter, this is where youll be challenging yourself to unlock new areas and collect all of these fallen pods…I however personally found the actual world of outriders to be pretty lack luster and uninteresting.. so naturally I have no interest in going off and grinding.. though I do believe the mechanics are fun enough here for plenty who would based on that alone…
    Outriders again has potential as a series.. would I play outriders 2? Yes…
    s again I loved the gameplay hook and Id love a sequal that balances everything out better.
    Am I clamoring for outriders 2? No.
    Again the story and world are lacking, and im not quite sure how the team over at people can fly can fix it.

    This was nice linear shooter, but the problems with sign in were not good. The sci-fi story was fun, shooting was very good, enemies were versatile (I liked the monsters).
    Looting mechanics were also nice. I played mainly as Trickster.

    So far I've had fun playing this game the graphics is good the gameplay is fast along with the gunfights with an interesting story on there but the only complaint I have with the game is that their servers keeps crashing which has to a certain extent ruin the experience a little for me but I do plan on playing it again but only until their servers are fixed

    Outriders hasn't done much to innovate the looter-shooter genre but they've taken elements from the other major games in this space (BL3, Division Series, Destiny Series, Gears of War Series and even Diablo) to piece them all together very well. You can level up your gear and the rarity of your gear. As well as changing the skills your guns and gear have on them from your library of mods you gain from dismantling gear you earn from playing.

    The game has it's issues. Outside of the server issues I've been scoped in a sniper rifle and lost all control of the game and then it hard crashed my XSX in the middle of the battle. People Can Fly are tracking issues online and seem to be willing to continue to support the game going forward. Overall, can't give the game a perfect score as it's not just the server issues this game has. Many are reporting other hard crashes still frequently occurring.

    Loot overall seems generic as most other games of this type early on but once I hit Level 15 I started to see some more interesting gear pieces. From guns with skins on them to much more interesting gear set pieces. The skills they contained as well were much more interesting. It's actually quite fun to create a build with the skill trees which do allow you to reset them for free at any time. The nice part of all of the loot is leveling/modding it/upping the rarity is all fairly easy to do even when you first start the game.

    Other games of this type seem to want to make the players grind endlessly for any minor change. Resources are intentionally difficult to acquire for the purpose of making the grind last longer. Outriders you can change gear and weapons up in your first couple of levels. It does require more as you level up but still nothing I've seen is close to the resources others in this genre make you grind for.

    Overall, I get it if you don't like the plain story and generic space world but for those who enjoy the games I mentioned above, this is another great addition to the looter shooter genre. I hope People Can Fly is able to keep supporting the game and hope to see some DLC in the future if that's possible. Considering it's accessible on Gamepass, this is the best way to try it without spending much and make a judgement for yourself. As someone who plays these types though, I'll be playing through all the expeditions and hope to see more from Outriders in the future.    … Expand

    So far so good. The game itself is very good aside from many technical problems like being unable to login for ten minutes straight or non working cross-play. Will change score to 9 when devs fix these.
    Just don't play Outriders like gears of war. You'll get bored too quickly. Instead turn on "auto world tier" and pay attention to your gear, mods and skills combos.

    Il est clair que les serveurs sont instable à l’heure actuelle et cela gâche l’expérience de jeux pour le multi en particulier. Au-delà de ça, et lorsque les problèmes de réseaux seront réglés, outriders et un excellent jeu. Il a tout ce qu’on souhaite pour ce style de jeux ! Vraiment une bonne surprise pour ma part.

This all culminates in a great game that I personally really enjoyed, unlike other looters such as destiny each class is a completely different experience that needs to be played at least once to truly get everything out of Outriders. Many of the glaring game breaking bugs such as the login issue have been patched for the most part but this game is still very rough around the edges. The AI is a bit stupid, but that's not really the point as the game still manages to be hard without too many bullet sponge enemies, and the main story doesn't ever really have a solid villain but more temporary ones that prevent you from reaching your goal. I recommend this to any action fans and believe that it is a game worth experiencing.… Expand

Normally games tend to play it safe and give us the same thing we have seen before just with a new coat of paint. Outriders has a great story that keeps you interested. I just feel like I'm running and shooting all the time. Don't get me wrong the combat is great but even the nicest foods can get dull. Keep up the awesome work.… Expand

    Outriders is a decent game; it's not the best looter-shoter ever made, but it is pretty competent in that sense. The graphics are OK, same for the sci-fi story, but the gameplay is amazing. The guns and skills feel tight and playing the game, alone or with friends, is a blast.

    I also appreciate the dev team for not making this a "service game". Per their own interviews, Outriders will be a game with a beginning and an end. The last thing we need is another generic Destiny clone to keep us hooked on a forever grind.

    All that being said, they SERIOUSLY need to fix the log in/connection issues. I don't remember the last time I logged in without having to restar the game (or the system) a few times. The same for the disconnection errors... it's very frustrating to finally manage to kill a particularly hard boss and get disconnected... :( I almost gave up on this game a few times because of this.

    But there is a lot of game here, and a lot of heart. Hope they keep fixing and patching it.    … Expand

    We didn’t exactly see anything new in Outriders, to be honest. The game delivers a fair amount of content in terms of levels, weapons, or skills. However, from the gameplay point of view, it’s nothing more than meeting aliens, zombies and insurgents in paintball arenas for 15 straight hours, plus the expeditions.

It’s advisable to embark on the campaign of this shooting RPG since Outriders offers tons of hours of fun, invites players to play with friends, and has appealing visuals. Fans of both RPGs and shooters can get a lot out of it, but they shouldn’t expect a revolutionary game, for it is a mixed bag of interesting features and cliches. Even though the journey is enjoyable, Outriders is neither a strong contender in the RPG elite nor in the shooting universe.

    Outriders is not a perfect game by any means. Its narrative, while containing some fun characters, feels somewhat underdeveloped. The conflict between the intended aggressive style of play and the omnipresent walls for cover lead to a strange kind of dissonance where the level design feels at odds with the most fun way of playing the game. The server issues are ongoing and can occasionally make the game inaccessible. The endgame is a lot of fun, but only if you’re playing in a group. When the experience is working well, it is a ton of fun shooting your way through hordes of enemies and marvelling at the latest rare gear. However, while the flaws do not ruin the experience, they are notable.
