Missile Command: Recharged is the upgrade you didn't think you needed. It's new missions and graphical polish is a very nice touch. I'd dare say this is one of the first tower defense/bullet hell games, and Atari never skimps on delivering the "hell" part of that equation. With snappy controls, and a cool soundtrack, Missile Command: Recharged will keep you on your toes, for as long as it wants to.

I think it's fantastic that the developers completely remade 2020's Missile Command: Recharged and their efforts definitely show as it's a much-improved iteration and a super-enjoyable take on Atari's classic arcade game. See you on the leaderboards, chum.

Missile Command: Recharge is a good update of the coin-op classic and its 2020 remake. The new challenge mode gives it bit of lasting appeal and the new presentation gives it a fresh coat of paint. It's not the most dynamic and exciting of shoot 'em ups but it still offers a substantial challenge to veteran arcade fans.
