Loopindex is a fun little puzzle game. It's not massively long or hugely challenging. But it's just fine being what it is. Yes, the loop mechanic feels a bit underused, but there's plenty to get on with otherwise.

Obviously, given it’s only about $5 at the time of this writing, it’s not like Loopindex costs you a whole lot in terms of money. But there are much, much better ways to spend those $5 — not to mention much better ways to spend the time it would take you to earn this quick-ish Platinum — and you’d be well-advised to look into any of those, and forget about this one.

    Great 2 Player Puzzle Game!

Loopindex is a Indie Puzzle game with over 70 Levels of Fun! As my title says, its a 2 player co-op game which is limited to local aka couch co-op only and does not have any online mode which would have given this game a 10! Saying that the game can also be played solo perfectly fine and that's the way I did my play through of it.

Yes it would be a lot easier and funner playing with 2 players but over the 3 plus hours I spent on this game I didn't really have any issues playing it solo, that was until I got to the final boss level which then halving 2 players would have made things a lot easier.

The game itself is great. You play as two robots that are inside a virtual world called "Loopindex" The idea of the game is tow get both Robots onto the Elevator so you can journey to the next level and so on. What stands in your way are tricky puzzles that involve timing, spikes, shooting bullet things and many more.

None of the puzzles are over the top and I did find most if not all easy. Its just planning ahead, taking your time when you can and making sure you keep your eyes on both Robots otherwise when one dies, the both do and you need to restart the level over again. Throughout the levels you will encounter friends in Frogs and Mice. Both of these will help you pass the levels by setting of a switch or sitting on a pressure point switch.

The layout of the game is top-down perspective which helps you plan ahead. The visuals are indie pixel retro style and the game also has a present soundtrack with nothing over the top.

I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for some puzzling fun and the 2 player couch co-op!

Saying that tho I did have a great time playing solo!

    Some Robo Fun!
