    A well executed perfect remaster of two amazing early playstation era games. Flawless in both execution and substance, with small quality of life improvements that make all the difference in the longrun.

    Played the Klonoa phantasy reverie series demo and wow, it's rough and depressing and soulless of how the charm of the wii remake was taken away for ps1 sound quality gibberish and weird 90's character design and how unlike crash and spyro's remakes which feels like ps4 game doesn't feel new and instead feels like ps1 game.

    I expected more from this game but my baby would love it ( if i had a baby :(... ) if you have a kid , you must try this , and take your time

    This is a remake of some interesting older games. It does nothing groundbreaking or insanely wild. But it looks nice and is a kind of action/platforming game we don't see a lot anymore nowadays. The levels are all quite long but have interesting features in each of them. I like Klonoas movement, its easy to learn but hard to master. My only semi big complaint is that the attack only has aThis is a remake of some interesting older games. It does nothing groundbreaking or insanely wild. But it looks nice and is a kind of action/platforming game we don't see a lot anymore nowadays. The levels are all quite long but have interesting features in each of them. I like Klonoas movement, its easy to learn but hard to master. My only semi big complaint is that the attack only has a horizontal hitbox. Which means you need to get really close to attack an enemy, which itself is fine, but once you find an enemy that moves vertically by jumping or flying it gets a bit hard to hit that enemy with your tiny little attack.
    It is not a very difficult game, it reminds me of a kirby game. In the sense that the level's aren't very challenging but there is a lot to find in them. The boss fights are awesome, each boss is really unique with ideas ranging from pretty basic to quite neat ideas. Every level is fun to explore.

    I absolutely adore Klonoa and his character design and the animations and little voicelines he has. The cutscenes in this game seem to use original PlayStation sound files, so they kinda sound muffled and weird but I don't think that is a big deal personally.    … Expand

    I don't know who this is for. After finishing the first game I have to say this is an abysmal waste of time. Floaty, crappy controls that make platforming a chore. A double jump that revolves around having an enemy in your possession. Some of the most tedious level design I have ever seen in a 90's platformer. Also half the time your bullets don't grab the enemies. Which makes climbingI don't know who this is for. After finishing the first game I have to say this is an abysmal waste of time.     Klonoa is one of the most lovely and magical platformers I played. There was a lot of care put in these remasters, and holding a new modernised entry in my hands feels like a weird dream. This game promises an irreplaceable experience, with a heart-breaking story and unique game elements.

    It is gorgeous, fun and easily the best way to play these games.

    Having not played wither Klonoa before this review, I was expecting a bubbly platformer that was a product of its time, but instead, I was floored by how beautiful Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series was, and by how strongly it connected with me on an emotional level. I hope see more of this in the genre.

    Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series certainly is the best way for the series to celebrate its 25th anniversary, as with the great improvements it has received, the series is back in the spotlight. The only thing that remains to be seen is what the future holds for the franchise.
