As others have said, pretty much just a tech demo. I really wanted to believe but can’t see playing this more than an hour. $30 dollars ain’t much, but it’s more then I should have spent on it.

Gran ambientación y buenos gráficos, pero hay poco escenarios. Es más experiencia que juego y además, es el juego de psvr2 que más me marea, no aguanto más de media hora.

What hooked me on this game was that it dropped me straight into a swimming pool, in a kayak, and let me paddle around. No immediate menus or tutorials, just an immediate "wow, cool!" moment.

Graphics look incredible on the PSVR2, and just paddling up to some rocks and then pushing yourself away with the end of the paddle feels so weirdly real that I can't really describe it. Highly

Highly recommend using a mop (with the head removed of course) or something similar and some zip-ties for the full experience!

So far I am having a lot of fun using it as a nice break from some of the more intense VR games, it is a lot of fun for me just to paddle around and enjoy some scenery.

If I was to review this as a game I would probably give it a 3 perhaps 4 as it is very limited as to content but that would not do this title justice. To review it as an experience, which it is what it essentially is, I have to say that this is one of the best, if not the best I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy in virtual reality.

As well as being brilliantly immersive, the graphics are among the best I have ever seen on any headset I have tried and testament to the expertise and passion that the developers have put in to creating this masterpiece.
There is nothing to compare it to on my Xbox Series X for obvious reasons but, to my surprise, I actually prefer the PSVR2 to my Oculus Quest 2 even when tethered to my 3090 PC, it is just that good. I would say the graphics are on par with the PC but look even better on the oled screens that the PS5 version has available.
I must admit that I did experience a fair bit of nausea initially with this title but, after playing around with the accessibility options, I have found a nice comfort level and don't get such issues anymore so well worth experimenting with if you experience similar discomfort.
I would not hesitate to recommend this title and would go as far as to say that every PSVR2 owner should buy it. Fantastic.

This was the first game I played in VR.
Graphics are really great. It's fun moving your kajak through the water.
I experienced some motion sickness during my first two or three kajak trips, but it got less and less the more I played.
Some more areas would be great. But I didn't regret spending 21 Euro on this game. Best VR experience besides GT7 and Puzzling Places.

I had fun for around 5 minutes. This isn’t really a game, it is an experience. The price tag is way too high for the content the game is providing. I just bought this game because everyone was telling it looks so sharp. I can’t confirm this. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t blurry but still really far away from any WOW effect you might expect. It's a decent game. There are only 4 areas, which are all small, that I can fully explore in about 5-15 minutes in free roam. I cannot choose where I can start kayaking in that mode; the game places me in the same preset spot for that particular area. This game looks absolutely gorgeous. The water physics reacts realistically to my kayak and my paddle. Honestly, VR is best played when there are many interactions, not by how good the game looks, but I'll give this game some credit in this regard. However, I can witness all the content in this game in an hour, and then I get bored as there is nothing else to do other than racing, collecting trophies, and maybe rediscovering interesting details, such as the giant whale diving outwards in the Antarctica area and poking the snake in the Australia area. The developers stated on their roadmap that they will add real-time multiplayer and an open world, so hopefully, the game will have significantly more things to do.

I liked the soundtrack. Very atmospheric and calming in free roam, and fits well with racing.

Due to how little content this is, it is difficult to recommend this game to many people. You will have that inital "wow" factor, but then quickly realize how small this game is. For that, this game is a 7/10 (for now). I'll improve this rating when the game gets updated with more things to do.

It's one of the better PS5 VR2 games around. Looking forward to Simulation games such as Kayak VR Mirage. However wish they could add the following
    1) Offer game in PS5 Physical BluRay Disc copy and not just only Online Digital version
    2) Include more realistic simulation of advance Kayaking experiences such as the Eskimo Roll, and other advance Kayaking techniques. With this, the game

    2) Include more realistic simulation of advance Kayaking experiences such as the Eskimo Roll, and other advance Kayaking techniques. With this, the game could also be used for training actual kayaking increasing the value of the game.
    3) Add more Multi-Player Mode features (eg PlayStation Plus) for 3x3 or 4x4 team competition in expeditions or race to complete a mission or objective
    4) Add more fun and memorable real kayaking experience that user feedback such as Kayaking through Mangrove forest in high tide. such as Singapore Pulau Ubin Kayaking expeditions. And kayaking during Jelly Fish seasons in Singapore. Crossing the busy channels with large super tankers feeling how small you feel in a kayak when your kayak is near to a Super Tanker.
    5) Have fun and co-operative expeditions where multiple kayaks could form rafts when during rough sea conditions and also have rescue and recovery similar to real life kayaking when a kayak in your team capsize.
Some of the other user feedback is that currently Kayak VR Mirage has an initial appeal but users grow tired of playing this game after a moment of playing it. I believe implementing the above would help the game become more popular and the player would want to play again and again and not growing tired of the game.

It's beautiful, relaxing, and a wonderful game to show off PlayStation VR2 with but Kayak VR: Mirage is ultimately a very basic experience.

Kayak VR: Mirage is beautiful. A visually stunning experience that showcases how immersive the PlayStation VR2 can be. It's so good that the only issue is that it's too short. And also the competitive gameplay is really tough to master, but the free roam around the scenarios is one of the best virtual reality contents that are available right now.

Beautiful locales and a valiant attempt at gamifying kayaking can’t mask the fact that Kayak VR: Mirage will be rough water for some players.
