    It doesnt support hd camera. Its worth less 3$. Dont buy, dont support lazy producers.

    Don't take me wrong. It's a good game. We've been with Just Dance for years, started with 2015? And the game was always about kids, the camera and mimicking professional dancers.

    The 2021 version was the last one we've bought on PS4, it supports the camera, as all previous versions do. When we got PS5 and got the camera adapter, all previous versions including the 2021, works great.    Don't take me wrong. It's a good game. We've been with Just Dance for years, started with 2015? And the game was always about kids, the camera and mimicking professional dancers.

    The 2021 version was the last one we've bought on PS4, it supports the camera, as all previous versions do. When we got PS5 and got the camera adapter, all previous versions including the 2021, works great.

    When 2022 came out, we bought it from PS Store. Be warned, if you browse the store using PS5, the PS4 version is NOT LISTED there! You can only buy PS5 version. So we did.

    And what? And nothing. It doesn't support the camera! But I have it, the old PS4 camera, plugged via the adapter. Instead, the PS5 version makes you use your phone as a controller. The-worst-decission-ever!

    How am I supposed to risk damaging my phone? Give it to my kid? Or maybe find an old phone, make sure it's still compatible? Excuse me but this is madness. Nintendo Wii had motion controls and their WiiMotes have stripes around your hand so that when you shake the controller, it stays there even if it slips out of your grasp.

    Does your phone have a stripe? No it doesn't. What if a kid drops it? Bad luck.

    What's worse, I couldn't get a refund on that. Bought a PS5 version, downloaded it, realized the camera support it's not there and Sony said I don't get a refund because it's against their policy (the game is already downloaded).

    Had to use the in-browser PS Store, find the PS4 version, buy it and only then it's available on PS5. And yes, the PS4 version of Just Dance 2022 runs perfectly on PS5 and yes, it does support the camera.

    End of story. I can't believe the native PS5 camera can't be supported, although I don't have it yet, I could probably get one. If there's a problem and the camera can't be used in games like JD because of some software issues, it's bad for Sony and bad for Ubi.

    Nonetheless, please make the PS5 version compatible with the PS4 camera attached with the adapter. This and only this. This makes the game back to where it was which is - a great, fun and enjoyable family experience. Please read my review of the PS4 version as well.    … Expand

    I see no reason to play it through a mobile application, since all the fun is felt precisely with the use of the camera

The PS5 version only works if you use a mobile phone. It doesn't support the PS4 or PS Camera nor the PS5 controller. Absolute shyte.

    It's hard to recommend this game when it doesn't support any form of control scheme that is native to the PS5. Even though PS5 controllers have a gyroscope and accelerometer in them, similar to what is inside phones or joy cons, the game cannot be played with one. It is a basic feature that they should support. Further more, the PS5 camera is also not supported. So you need to play it withIt's hard to recommend this game when it doesn't support any form of control scheme that is native to the PS5. It is a basic feature that they should support. Further more, the PS5 camera is also not supported. So you need to play it with a mobile phone, which isn't actually mentioned on the game box, you need to go to their online help to learn that. So to play this game, you need a smartphone per player, they need to install an app who's permissions you have to agree to, and you better hope you don't drop the phone while playing.

    Frankly how they could make a game that doesn't let you play it with any of the console's own control schemes or accessories is a farce in my opinion.    … Expand

    Take back control of the camera from the PS4! Many people still have these devices. Dancing with a smartphone is not convenient. They are slippery and the hands get tired faster. The best part of the series is Just Dance 2016! There are a lot more modes, there is a video dance, a quest mode and a cool Just Dance TV. Why have you degraded so much?

    What a joke. Once again Just Dance is incompatible with the Playstation 5 camera. Doesn't even work with the Playstation 4 camera or the controller!
    You have to sign in and link the game to your phone, which only tracks one hand. Your hand, not your arms or legs or body.
    It's a dancing game where you only move your hand. Pathetic, I got a refund and i suggest you do the same.

    Does not support a PS5 camera.
    Only the PS4 version allows using PS4 camera or Move controllers.

    So you can not get true experience from gameplay. Another failure of Ubisoft

    No Camera support anymore on PS5. Even the old 2021 version works perfectly fine with old PS4 cam on PS5. My 6yo has no smartphone, therefore the game is unplayable.
    I cannot even start the game, since you have to connect a smartphone to get into the menu.

The greedy developers added "Boss Witch" and "Mr. Blue Sky" and they didn't even add the original recordings by Doja Cat and Electric Light Orchestra for their respective songs. They just added some random people to cover those songs, just like they did with that other Ubisoft game "Just Sing". Too many Tik Tok songs and cringeworthy meme songs. Only 1 songThis game is complete garbage.     Unlike many other people, I loved that we don't need a camera anymore. Yes, it's a bit tiring for arm and takes time to get used to dance with a phone on hand but still, I enjoyed it. I'm not a big fan of most of the songs but overall i do like them. The only con is phone is not understanding your movements precisely, sometimes you are doing great but boom, big X on the screen.

    Aside from the in-your-face self-promotion, lack of evolution, and sketchy phone control, Just Dance 2022 retains the positive elements that have kept both would-be and accomplished dancers coming back for each new version. The starting setlist is relatively strong, and there are lots of options to craft the experience. How long the good times last probably depends on whether you’re willing to finally cave and buy into the Unlimited option to get your sweaty hands on those 700 other songs. There’s a way in which Just Dance 2022 feels more like a starter pack than a full game, but it’s still a great excuse for us sedentary endomorphs with multiple left feet to move and have fun.

    With truly fun gameplay, colourful graphics and dancers that draw you in plus one of the best sound scores of any game in 2021, Just Dance 2022 is another fun game from Ubisoft that successfully draws in your entire family and social network. So if you’re looking for a truly fun party game that is super interactive, Just Dance 2022 nicely fits that criteria!
