    One of the best indie games I’ve played in my 25+ years of gaming. The game is constantly changing things up and it had me addicted after the first hour of my journey. I just beat it a few hours ago and I’m just floored by how brilliant it is. A new mode unlocks after you beat it for endless replay value and I can’t wait to dig in even more. Thank you Playstation for getting this game onOne of the best indie games I’ve played in my 25+ years of gaming.     Amazing game! I love the art direction, the mystery/puzzle solving, how it reinvents itself, the music, and of course the card game at the center of it. If you liked Gwent this plays in a similar ballpark but with a beautiful and haunting retro horror vibe to it. Takes a while to learn but doesn’t feel too unforgiving.

    Money very well spent, I must say, this is one of those games that    Amazing game!     Un jeu très très original, brillant, malin, bien fait et intelligent. Il se permet librement de mélanger les styles de jeu, les styles graphiques, les styles narratifs. Le gameplay est adulte et sans concession. Beaucoup de nouveauté, le tout très bien réalisé.

    Concernant le gameplay on a droit à un mélange de jeu de carte, de roguelike, d’énigme, et d’aventure dans un univers original.    Un jeu très très original, brillant, malin, bien fait et intelligent. Il se permet librement de mélanger les styles de jeu, les styles graphiques, les styles narratifs. Le gameplay est adulte et sans concession. Beaucoup de nouveauté, le tout très bien réalisé.

    Concernant le gameplay on a droit à un mélange de jeu de carte, de roguelike, d’énigme, et d’aventure dans un univers original.
    Niveau graphismes le jeu se permet de passer entre différents styles, jeu stylisé oldy, vidéo, 8 bits.
    Techniquement et niveau gameplay c’est fluide bien pensé, artistiquement tout est bien foutu, les animations les caméras, les personnages, les textes (au passage vu le budget du jeu on a la chance d’avoir une bonne traduction française pour absolument tous les textes ; menus, dialogues, cartes, vidéos…)

    Les **** reproches
    - l’aspect un peu répétitif des phases de jeu (même si c’est les principes du roguelike, et même s'il s'agit d'un petit jeu a petit budget, les dialogues et la mise en scène auraient mérités d'être plus diversifiée d’une partie a l'autre).
    - graphiquement un poil trop sombre (même si c'est voulu dans l'univers du jeu, visuellement un peu fatiguant)
    - les textes sont parfois quasiment illisibles a force d'etre pixelisés (nom des cartes sur le tableau par exemple)

    Sinon globalement le jeu est a faire absolument (pour ceux qui cherchent de la nouveauté, qui n'ont pas peur de jouer a des jeux 8 bits sur leur ps5 pour changer des triples A en raytracing, et qui aiment ce type de jeu)    … Expand

    Excelente juego de cartas estilo roguelite y sencillo de jugar, pero a la vez se necesita mucha práctica para lograr salir avante.

    Simply put, I absolutely loved this game during the first of the three acts. Then act 2 started and I hated it so much that I quit and never went back. I won't say anymore so as not to ruin it for people.

    Thoroughly enjoyed how this game was handled. Fun little card game with some sequences and gameplay that change throughout the whole game. Definitely a must play for anyone who enjoys solid indie titles.

    A 48h project at base.. and I think the final game required around the double...

    The most overrated overhyped game of metacritic !! Where true games, and great ones like Thymesia, have low and very wrong scores..

    This 48h project has around 85 !! Insane.. but it seems juste doing something different, so little but so different, can make you obtaining insanely high score..

    I didn't think I'd be into a deck building game, but I wanted to play Inscryption based on the hype and reputation of its creator. It exceeded my expectations. I probably spent 10+ frustrated hours trying to figure out the mechanics and thinking "love the style but wtf, this is ridiculously difficult!" then it all clicked- and holy **** when it does its an amazing moment. After act 1 I wasI didn't think I'd be into a deck building game, but I wanted to play Inscryption based on the hype and reputation of its creator. It exceeded my expectations.     I love great storytelling, whatever the medium. So deck-building rougelike games aren't usually something I'd be into, but all credit and admiration to Daniel Mullins and the team that built this game.     A chaotic indie game that breaks old boring game design rules. If I one day goes indie then this is the kind of game I want to do. A card game rollercoaster filled with bizzare details from start to finish.

    Creative, original, immersive and atmospheric experience. Simple, yet interesting puzzles. Game keeps surprising you with new elements, each adding value to the play. It's refreshing to finally play something that's not an exploitative AAA garbage grindfest.

    One the best games I have ever played. If you are a fan of deckbuilding games, such as Magic: The Gathering or YuGiOH, or appreciate AR horror, you will love this. Can't wait for a sequel!

    Just brilliant! Fun Core Card game with tons of secrets, Puzzles and Great misterious story. Couldn’t Stop playing it and Just wanted to know everything about this World and solve every mistery of this unique universe.

    Отличная карточная игра рогалик. Необычный геймплей, смелый сюжет, юмор , атмосфера , по сути это 3 игры в одной. Я залип сразу и даже выбил платину , пройдя игру повторно .

    Un muy buen jueg indie que te hra explotar la cabeza, nunca sabes que creer y tiene un fondo oscuro e intrigante, ofrece muchas mecanicas de juego, solo le falta poder exprimir un poco mas dos de ellas para ser perfeto, diversion, estrategia y intriga asegurados, muy recomendable :3

    I'm not a big fan of "roguelite" games, but from time to time, something amazing comes alongside an interesting story and rewarding sense that can't be ignored. Inscryption is an incredible experience that shows fun, yet complex, a simple mechanic can be. Lots of replay value and tons of secrets to discover. From deck building game to ARG, It never ceases to amaze. A must-play!

    but I hoped that I could play against all 4 masters and some card you create could be OP and makes the game too much easy If we can choices the difficulty it would be much better

    A while ago I was pleasantly surprised by Slay the Spire. It was given with playstation+ and I had fun with it for weeks. If you had the same experience, I urge you to pick this one up. You will not be disappointed. Inscryption is a rogue like card battle game. Slay the Spire offered choices between battles to pick up new cards and perks.     An original card game masterpiece. Loved every minute of this game. My only issue was that I grew attached to the style of Act 1. I found myself wanting them to return to Act 1 style a couple times. But all in all, what a refreshing game. Fantastic. Ominous. Unique. Engaging.

    Without spoiling much, this is the best bit. From there it gets quite meta, and plays with some other card-based gameplay that ironically loses most of its bite by the end. Yet when it works, gaming the game has rarely felt more rewarding and chilling at the same time. [Issue#20, p.75]

    Inscryption's PS5 edition deserves every single praise. It's as good as the PC version that was released last year. It is a mysterious story with fun gameplay and many twists during the game. There are a few differences from the PC version, but nothing that messes up the experience. Inscryption is a must-have for those who like card games and solving puzzles.

    Inscryption is an amalgamation of deck-builder and escape room games, and is unlike anything I have ever played before. In an age of video games where uniqueness is at an all-time low, it was amazing to be so surprised at regular intervals. Inscryption will test what you think a card battling roguelite is and its constant twists and turns will keep you on your toes. It's a game where I fully feel like I have sculpted my deck myself; it's wild, it's dark and it's utterly brilliant.
