Berlin, 9th November 1989: The streets are full of people. After four decades of division, thousands of cars are rolling across the inner-German border. The Wall is finally open!

At the same time a man disappears in a secret research facility near East Berlin. His goodbye message reaches you too late. You drive back to the office, where the State Security has already destroyed all records of the research project. The complex is deserted and empty.

The search for Walter takes you deep into the center of the facility - right into the heart of the universe, where time seems to stand still. The dark secret lurks - well hidden - behind the curtain. In the end, it is horrible insights and the questions of responsibility that make you dive deeper and deeper into a strange, surreal yet familiar world.

Industria is a shooter that focuses on its narrative component and offers the best in situations of pure survival, claustrophobic and perpetually outnumbered. With the arrival of more powerful weapons, the level of challenge undergoes a sharp decline and, although it offers several interesting ideas, the narrative plot fails to provide the answers to many of the questions that arose during the adventure.

Industria is not exactly a memorable first person shooter, being limited in terms of gameplay also due to some very questionable game design choices. The Bleakmill shooter is instead appreciable for a fascinating dystopian atmosphere, thanks to which it manages to reach a full sufficiency.

You can't go wrong. It has some minor bugs that you can ignore. I can't speak intelligently on framerate etc. The story is just there to have one. The gameplay is fun. Very short game. But after viewing the credits and seeing it was made by like 10 people I had to tip my hat. Hard-core mode is hard-core. I couldn't make it past the first encounter and stealth wasn't an option. The game doesn't explain the stealth at all. But apparently ammunition conservation is key at least in hard-core mode Expand

Yes, Industria is just an echo of the famed Half Life 2 - the combat is simpler, less weapons, the frame rate is low, etc. But there is enough of what made Half Life engrossing that was put into this game. Environmental puzzles are interesting and there is plenty of cordon and search in tight building quarters to keep the game moving. Worth a buy, esp. if you are a fan of the Half-Life series. Expand

It is clearly inspired by it but if your looking for a horror experience, it is not here. The game has good flow and the voice acting was great, but the overall game is shoot, go to next point, shoot, go to next point, etc. There are a couple of puzzles and some variety of enemies, but after a while I was just trying to get to the end. The world seems interesting, and if the developer does something else with it I would be interested, but I won't be replaying this one. Visuals are great and action is okay. Expand
