Ash’s mission is to travel to a new land, the Pyrite Island, to find and reunite the gods who left Olympos in a huff after a falling-out with Zeus. These “lost gods,” including Poseidon and Hades, will all need to be convinced to return to the Pantheon and restore balance to the world. Naturally, there are plenty of monsters standing between them and Ash, which players can dispatch using a new, brawler-inspired combat system. Expand

The Lost Gods is the excellent closure of a truly satisfying post-launch support: three very different experiences, characterized by their own playful, artistic and narrative personality.

This is the weakest Immortals DLC. It takes a gamble with the new perspective, but it doesn’t pay off – the action rpg is not a good fit for the Immortals world.

Best of the three and be ready for a shift in gameplay that takes getting used to. The view is overhead with a slight angled view.....you can do nothing about. The game plays like Hades but it is IFR quality, which is great. Another thing is when you meet characters it is a text box discussion pop-up instead of an animated scene. Feels like a cheap way if interaction compared to the robust story interactions in the original IFR. The really neat thing is the mystery of what is coming next. You can't shift view so you realy don't know what is coming up ahead. The battles are great but you have a robust weapons system build in this game. It really adds to the game play and you stratergize for what you need to get to where you want to go. (The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Switch) So after you get used to the new concept of gameplay and the great new continuation to the IFR story, this is a very solid DLC and worth the time. By the way, the map is huge and I am only half way through and they keep bringing new ideas to the gameplay. If you are a fan of IFR and sort of gave up after the last two DLC's DO NOT MISS PLAYING THIS ONE! Expand

The main game is just great. First DLC is really good if you like riddle/puzzle, the second is original with the back story. But the third DLCThe main game is just great. First DLC is really good if you like riddle/puzzle, the second is original with the back story. But the third DLC is not good at all.
There is like monsters every 10 steps, and a lot of monsters. And they respawn also a lot. The camera is a big issue. Sometimes you climb for nothing cause you can't see the top of the mountain for exemple. You also can't see monsters, they come from nowhere. The skills tree you unlock is really complicated, you put some stuff there and there.
Great idea to lock the camera at the horizontal when you game is vertical.
Too bad the last DLC is so bad. I hope to see a second opus in few years.

However, I do not care for this DLC. The top down view is disorientating and hampers travel and exploration. One of the best parts of IFR are the beautiful environments . The top down view all but eliminates them. I feel like they modified the base game to try to emulate the game Hades. Combat ramps up in difficulty quickly. The new upgrade system is convoluted and unnecessarily complicated.

I hope this DLC represents an experiment by the developers and not the future direction of this franchise.
