    Haven't had this much fun in a multiplayer in a long time. It's really solid, but can take a little time to unpack the tactical/strategic depth -- stick it around, it's worth the investment. A lot of the bad reviews were expecting a run/gun game, not a stealth team-based heist with consequences for losing map control, failing to time the final push, and punishing failure to use stealth.Haven't had this much fun in a multiplayer in a long time.     Totally addictive game, once you understand the different characters and their abilities. No server issues which is amazing, after repeated disasters cough Cyberpunk, Anthem etc. If you have a good team jump in and enjoy the mayhem. Cross play is available for all platforms as well. Graphics are excellent on PS5, and if you are looking for something new and different, do not hesitate toTotally addictive game, once you understand the different characters and their abilities.     All that being said.... Matchmaking needs to be improved and would be nice to see overall character statistics for your game play added in the dlc... like you would see in COD or other games.     This is the first game I’ve left a review for. The foundation is fantastic. There’s a lot of people who complain about balancing or stealth not mattering. The truth is, if you play the game as intended and use stealth, you’ll absolutely steamroll teams that don’t. Stealth is absolutely crucial when playing at a higher level. Balancing is better than people think, and the skill cap isThis is the first game I’ve left a review for. The foundation is fantastic. There’s a lot of people who complain about balancing or stealth not mattering. The truth is, if you play the game as intended and use stealth, you’ll absolutely steamroll teams that don’t. Stealth is absolutely crucial when playing at a higher level. Balancing is better than people think, and the skill cap is satisfying. My only gripe is some overlap between Marianne and Robin for ranged, but it’s a crucial feature of Marianne’s kit that counters Jon, so it’s not a big deal. Essentially, you’ve gotta get good about playing strategically. Content is a little light currently, but the bones of the game are strong. If the community stays steady and engaged, I believe this has the capability to become a genre defining classic. Definitely worth $30, and extremely fun. Can’t wait for the new character and game mode rollouts!… Expand

    It can be a little clunky and maybe some mechanics changed but overall I love it!! It’s very satisfying whenever you get an assassination very good!

    Bon jeux qui fait changement d'un fortnite call of duty je comprend pas pourquoi le monde mais des aussi mauvaise note le jeux est pas parfait mais mérite pas des note aussi basse surtout pour sont prix uniquement 40$ c'est rien et déjà une road maps bien garnie le jeux mérite un 8/10 Positifs:

    When you get a team together this game is fire! Really enjoy the way each character plays so different from each other. As far as the matches go each one feels different. A really enjoyable game!

    I'd not come accross Sumo before, so came into this one with low expectations and, for the price, I think that was right. However, my god have these guys kicked this out of the park...it looks beautiful, the gameplay is so addictive. 've not played anything quite like this before. Bravo Sumo, I can't wait to see where you take this

    Some seriously unjustified negative ratings here, yes the game isn't perfect, yes there's some extremely good players (because the pros know it's good). Don't flame because you can't play a game. This game is challenging, rewarding and frustrating (when players are better than you) but when it clicks and your team is on point there's nothing else like it. As a base to build on it has a solid foundation, visuals are beautiful (if you get time to appreciate it) the concept is excellent and it's easily the best value game I've bought. If you're not down with multiplayer and strategy, this may not be your thing...but if you're looking for something new to dive into you're in the right place.

    I'm not big on writing reviews for games but for this, it is totally justified. And this game needs more support in the gaming community, because frankly its outstanding. Its rare that I go to sleep thinking about a game. But this is like chess but with a bow and arrow and a death hammer.     Good game. Matchmaking is one of the worst I have ever seen should be fixed asap and some characters are a bit more powerful. Maps are nice, gameplay is a bit clunky but for the price it's good and enjoyable game.

    Единственный конкурент игре - hunt showdown. С разницей то тут больше стелса. Заметил негативные мнения игроков , Мол скрытность и персонажи ассасин плох их убивает танк и тп и тд Скажу лишь что они не умеют играть , они умеют только языком по попе лизать . Дословно если перевести на понятный язык тех кому не нравиться игра -> Мой любимый жанр , а играть не умею.

    Самый тяжёлый в освоении класс именно ЛУК и убийца .Если есть с кем общаться в игре то это лучшие игры будут .Так как сейчас основной геймплей из за глупых игроков купивших игру с расчетом - Буду нагибать как на видео ролике ! Весь геймплей превращается в беготню от мобов и в процессе PvP игроков. Игрой так не было задумано. Выигрывает или команда по стелсу или сейчас среди не Умеющих - рандом как повезет. Доходит до того что попадаются ПРОКАЧЕННЫЕ игроки которые говорят - жми ГОТОВ! Пофиг что нет четвертого я так уже игру запускал! -з.ы. Нет игра так не запускается , непонятно как такие бездари успели поднять ранг в игре.    … Expand

    Amazing game! Can’t wait for the DLC in year 1. Couldn’t put the game down all weekend. Once you get a grasp of the game’s mechanics and character specialties, it gets even better. Give it a chance past the first few multiplayer games and you’ll be hooked. Even better if you have a regular squad to play with.

    I can’t think of a better 4v4 multiplayer game made since Factions in Last of    Amazing game! Can’t wait for the DLC in year 1. Couldn’t put the game down all weekend.     Unfortunately what seemed to be a promising take on something similar in the mix of hunt showdown/rainbow 6 siege. The game has overall left me with disappointment. Stealth elements in the game don't feel useful enough to use and now everyone is maining Little John, it just turns out to be a button mashing fest to see who can spam out the other player in a battle. if you play as the stealthy characters (Robin or Marianne) it feels like I cannot counter Little John at all. Enemy AI seem very dumb or over alert. Button commands are sometimes unresponsive at the most annoying of times.
    I unfortunately can't get a refund as I've downloaded the game digitally (PS5)...
    I hope the game gets improvements from feedback but it's going to be a big overhaul.    … Expand

    hood outlaws and legends is a 4 team pvpve heist game, you choose one of 4 characters all with their unique feel and abilities and attempt to complete a heist all while competing against another team of 4 trying to do the same,
    gameplay wise this is very stealth focused, you attempt to not raise too much attention and pick of guards for your teams, claim spawn points on the map, while you or the rest of the team grabs a key from the sheriff, finds the fult room, takes the chest to the extraction point and defend your position from the enemy team.. and while on paper this sounds really fun, I was over the game after playing for only about 2 hours.. its just wasn’t all the fun for me.. sure this is a stealth game, but all of that goes out the window the minute the extraction process begins… and the combat here just isn’t fun… it feels button mashy and luck based, you never feel accomplished fighting off a group of enemies because htat rarely ever happens, its more likely youll take out one or 2 and the third will come from behind to get you… leading to a loop of respawn, reclaim spawn points for your team to be closer to the chest, and hope you can create large enough time window to be the team to finally get the extraction…
    I did have a bit of fun here and there, and you do level up each individual charcter to unlock new perks and cosmetics which I appreciate, really giving you incetive to master each class… but the gameplay just wasn’t there for me to care to do so… games feel like a bit of a mess, especially if youre playing with randoms without a mic.
    I do see potential for stealth lovers to sink their time into this game, but hood outlaws and legends just wasn’t for me.

I was expecting the game was about stealth, tactics and flanking. but all matchs turn into an uninspired brawl game around the chest or the winch. People spawning endlessly till the end of the anticlimactic winching final...but there is a game underneath...Hope it can be quickly saved by a newMaps and characters are interesting. But this game is completely dragged down by its game mode. I was expecting the game was about stealth, tactics and flanking. but all matchs turn into an uninspired brawl game around the chest or the winch.     Let’s talk the general incentive of the game is to steal the treasure for the people using the necessary teamwork of taking down npc enemies, opening routes of passage for your teammates, challenging the enemy team, and using your two measily abilities to fight.

    This game is essentially just team death match with bonus objectives that no one really does because once you see an opposing player, that’s who you’re going to go after. By the way, don’t even think of going head on with the enemy team without your teammates nearby. This game’s 1v1’s try to pull off a ‘For Honor’ move, but fail horribly when the moment you engage in a 1v1, another enemy comes up to assassinate you. There’s no escaping that situation unless your teammates interrupt the event, but in my experience, they never really did that. Sometimes you’ll find actual people who communicate well and have great strategies, but it’s quickly overrun by busted melee characters such as our friends Tooke and John. Once you enter Tooke’s little bubble, his weapon follows you around like a fish trying to eat bait and it deals MAJOR damage. John can endlessly spam his light attack when in his power, making going against him essentially useless. Oh wait! Don’t forget you can just go up behind him and assassinate him. Teamwork makes the dream work!

    Combat is incredibly clunky and the game settings are next to nothing. There needs to be added sensitivity in the game because I feel like I’m playing on Resident Evil sensitivity. The controls are also clunky when guarding really not working half the time or you just get 1 shot by Robin’s arrows.

    I admit I wasn’t great at the game, but I also wasn’t horrible at the game. This game’s concept is good, but it plays the opposite of how it should. I don’t recommend this.    … Expand

    The crossplay function is heavily advertised, but you can't invite friends from other consoles and can only play with random people.
    I have heard and read from many people that they only bought this game because of Xbox and Playstation crossplay and ended up playing alone.

    Hood: Outlaws & Legends tries too hard to mesh different game types into one unified multiplayer experience, and its lofty ambitions get buried under clashing elements. What could have been an exciting co-op title ended up a frustrating slog, and in a heist — whether it’s a movie or a game — if the main caper ain’t good, the rest doesn’t matter.

    Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a unique multiplayer game with a nice dark atmosphere. While the game can be very exciting and tactical through the use of stealth, players are not motivated enough to use it. As a result, chaotic brawls predominate. In addition, the lack of more modes, maps and characters means that the game doesn't feel finished yet.

    There is a roadmap in place for future content, including new maps, weapons, and more, which bodes well, and the game is also budget-friendly at its $29.99 price point. Throw in some solid visuals and a truly fun and satisfying gameplay loop and you've got yourself a one-of-a-kind Robin Hood-themed adventure that will have you coming back for more. That said, it could be even better, and it will be interesting to check in a year from now and see how far it's come.
