    A fantastic finale to the trilogy! Solid 60FPS, improved graphics, and a wonderful set of new maps to murder on. One of the biggest improvements is the load times, loading into a new mission in under 10 seconds is insane and adds so much to to experience. And importing Hitman 1 and 2 maps in, bringing all the new features to the old maps is the icing on top.

    I would like to thank IO Interactive for making this great Hitman trilogy. Very solid game. These haters are just sad people who very likely play amateurish games like cyberpunk 2077.

    Great game! If youre a fan of the hitman franchise then you wont feel let down from this. Playing on ps5 in 4k and 60 fps with the new levels feels like a bliss. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are there and feel like more of a little bonus rather than a fleshed out feature, The game overall has tons of replay value and for 40$ you can get all the levels from hitman 1 and 2 withGreat game!     Given that this is the third iteration, the first on next-gen, and also the latest in a very long saga of games perhaps I am holding Hitman to higher account than usual. However, this game is great when it really gets going but is massively held back back some painful design decisions and dated gameplay.

However, this game is great when it really gets going but is massively held back back some painful design decisions and dated gameplay.

    Firstly, you should be warned that this game can glitch out and only allow you to play the first level, telling you the remainder need a patch to play. I spent ages troubleshooting this with uninstalling and almost gave up before it finally installed properly. I still don't quite understand this error but it's horrendous to have it still happening a long time after release.

    The graphics I have mixed feelings for. It's not really until the last couple of levels where the game starts to shine as you are in vibrant landscapes that can avail of the PS5's power. The opening level is clearly designed to wow us and it does this well. The second level has a gothic feel to it but the third level I found to have very mundane graphics as you're in dark alleys and laboratories. After this the game picks up and the environment becomes much more enjoyable to explore, but I think previous games did it better. Ultimately, most of the time I couldn't differentiate between Hitman 3 on PS5 and Hitman 2 on PS4.

    The gameplay of Hitman 3 won't require a tutorial if you've played any of the others. The formula is pretty much the same here; navigate through the level to assassinate your target, ideally unnoticed. At it's core I find this the most enjoyable aspect of the game and quite annoying as other missions get in my way, such as finding a case file or any other activity not related to setting up an assassination. I think this is partly my own impatience as there are some very creative options on offer here, such as a murder-mystery in the second level as a means of getting access to your target by helping them identify the murderer.

    As typical for Hitman games, taking your time to explore your options can be quite rewarding although I often found it frustrating as it's not always clear in a step-by-step sense when trying to make someone's death look like an accident etc. One of my biggest irks is likely my own fault; when I'm stealthily attempting a level but get caught part-way through and end up shooting my way out in blazing fashion because I don't want to restart and have to repeat my progress.

    I think my biggest gripe with this whole trilogy of Hitman games is that they have gradually stepped towards the live services model, a model almost universally hated. You can tell this because the menus are incredibly unfriendly to use and want to sell you add-ons and other rubbish. Let's not forget that the game also forces you to be always online or face FOMO by telling you all the things you'll miss such as mission ratings.

    Players may also be rather disappointed to hear there are only six missions in this game. If, like me, you want to hit your target ASAP then it'll be a very short game. Hitman has always been about the replayability of each level and given that a single level can take over an hour, this game could still take you 8+ hours, similar to the latest R&C game.

    Hitman 3 places more emphasis on the story than usual, especially as it draws to a close. I found the final level very enjoyable and seeing 47 and Diana's relationship develop and reach a sense of conclusion was one of the more satisfying aspects of the game. I'm not sure the game does a good job of explaining how each target you kill fits into the bigger picture but knowing you're taking down a shady organisation is enough for me.

    Overall, Hitman 3 closes out the trilogy in a wobbly fashion. I almost didn't even get to experience it thanks to a technical error that could have been avoided. If Hitman games are to continue I'd want to see a bit more coherence and not the live services model that mars what are otherwise very good games. Hitman 3 doesn't break any new ground in terms of gameplay, but your stealth and assassination itches will be very well scratched by the time you reach the end.    … Expand

    Beautiful game that is first AAA game of 2021 and pretty good. Good start for possibly very good year for video games. There's tons of hits coming like Halo Infinite, Resident Evil Village, Far Cry 6 and many more and hopefully they will help forget cyberbug2077.

    Had a slight issue with the IOI cary over, but that doesn't affect the gameplay. As someone who had played every Hitman title since 2000, its nice to see this trilogy come to end while keeping replayability with 1 & 2's integration.

    The story was great as was the gameplay and graphics. They changes the way you approach the missions, and for the better. Now there's no "fat" in missions, like previous titles. Every area has a purpose. The ending mission was a nice change from the usually format and felt very suspenseful. I really enjoyed this game and it's difficultly.

But who cares honestly, everyone knows that this game is good, youtube is full of videos praising this game and that's all that matters. All these 0/10's mean absolutely nothing. Great game!

    I'm impressed enough. I mean, let's be real here, Cyberpunk 2077 is now new benchmark for any upcoming video game. And Hitman 3 is very clearly better video game than Cyberpunk 2077, so there's that. It's also good Hitman game overall.

    5 days after launch still can't "fetch profile". Unable to play the game because the devs make a single player game always online. It becomes a problem when your servers don't work at all. Many players with the issue, so far no apology and no timeframe for a fix. It's disgusting. Don't buy this game until this issue has been formally addressed

The game itself is pretty short and not worth full price. They say 6 levels but its really just 5 and a silly little train level that the Reddit crowd have been asking for for years. The 5 main levels are big open worlds with lots to explore and do, however, just like the last 2 games in the series, they still lack that magic of the old Hitman games. It looks pretty, but its not a next gen game. This game looks very much like the last 2 Hitman games did on the older consoles. The story is just silly and very anticlimactic. But then the story has never been a strong point of the Hitman games, its all about the gameplay. Gameplay hasn't changed much at all from the previous 2 games. You now have a pointless camera that you don't even really have to use 99% of the time. Some doors and ladders that you break locks on to give yourself easier access next time you play each level. That's pretty much it. None of he stuff that fans have been asking for years has returned. Stuff like Jesper Kyd, weapon customization, sniper rifle and briefcase animations, human sheild, dual weilding, ability to climb witht he briefcase, more blood splatter, newspapers etc. They still haven't listened to fans on any of that. The levels from Hitman 1 and 2 got an "upgrade" for next gen systems, hoever they seem to be full of bugs that didn't exist before. Sound is broken with audio cutting in and out abruptly, sound missing entirley. I walked into a room full of people and there was no sound at all. They also have visual glitches that weren't there before. For example it was snowing like a black snow inside a building that wasn't there before and had no source or explination other than it was a glitch. Some levels are now totally missing in the next gen versions. The Christmas missions Holiday Hoarders and the Hokkaido Snow Festival. Those have been removed from the game entirley for some strange reason. They were made permanent before. The upgraded versions don't really add much other than audio and visual bugs, broken lighting, some new trees in some levels, and a few reflections on the floor. That's pretty much it. I'd personally stick with the old versions and don't upgrade. Game design isn't that good either. For example, your loadouts are more restricted in Hitman 3. You're forced to start with no weapons or tools and have to wear an outfit that they want you to wear. It doesn't make sense half the time. One nightclub mission it says i can't add a gun to my loadout as i have to enter the club with nothing. Yet 2 seconds later you have to kill an enemy and take his silenced pistol before you get to the nightclub anyway! So why not just let me take what i want as i want. Some levels have less replayability as a result. One Manor level they put an enforcer on the front gate right at the start so you are left with just 2 points of entry, jump over the wall on the left or jump over the wall on the right. Its a pretty washed out looking game too. I've seen a lot of people complaining how washed out this game is across all versions. Even when switching the broken HDR off. The Manor level and end leven in paticular, they have a whited out washed appearence to them. It even makes the black levels of an OLED looked like a washed out cheap IPS LCD TV. If you've played the first 2 in the series and liked them then you will probably like this 3rd and final part in the trilogy. However, if you are a fan of the old games and didn't really much like the new ones, this 3rd installment won't do much to change your mind on the trilogy. I kind of wish i had waited for all 3 parts to be finished before i bought them. That would have been better i feel. But even then i don't think they hold a candle to the old games.… Expand

    How can I give it any score? It's unplayable and won't connect. If I play without connecting I will lose all progress when they fix the servers. An unplayable game is **** useless to me.

    Hitman 3 is solid enough game to start 2021 gaming season. It's nothing extremely new, but best of this new Hitman trilogy. Really cool looking big levels (by hitman standard) and very beautiful graphics.

    The story is terrible. The animations are garbage. The lazy developers copied and pasted the same animations when hiding enemies inside those bins. Also, there is no multiplayer. So once you beat the story, there is not a reason to touch this game again. Charging $60 for a game with no replay value is a cashgrab. To make matters worse, the greedy developers took down the Hitman 2 multiplayer mode. I recommend you don't buy this game and just wait for it to be free on PS Plus.    … Expand

    There is 1 real problem: I couldn’t transfer leveling / completion data from PS4 version of H1/H2 to PS5. So I don’t understand why there is an option to do this in The    Fantastic game. I couldn't even beat the first level due to the Npcs seeing through the wall and shooting me and once I almost did, the game crashed. I can't shoot the targets, because I always shoot through them and if I do, then they fall over andThis is the buggiest mess I've played.     Fantastic end to a trilogy, thanks IOI Interactive for a another masterpeace in Hitman series. Unfortinately game could be a little longer, I managed to get platinum in 30ish hours. As well as cut-scenes could be better, brought me back to PS3 era with them graphics in cut-scenes.

    Hitman 3 hits the mark, plain and simple. Not only is it the best stealth/assassin sandbox gameplay of the franchise, but it stands among the best of the genre. It’s everything you love and want from a Hitman game with extreme polish, intriguing levels and tons of replay value..

    Sorry I've played every hitman. These games are stale. They don't push any boundaries. The game is literally a re skin every year. No change in gameplay or mechanics. A game with thus many entries should evolve. But its literally the same exact game over and over. Just a different story and a graphics upgrade. Sad...

    I tried a free version. And during a mission I couldn’t save my progress. Save button was inactive. The mission failed and was supposed to restart again. 30 minutes of my life was wasted for nothing. No way I’m going to buy this game. I’ll spend my time and money elsewhere.

    GAME IS BROKEN

    Purchased the deluxe version and by now I’ve uninstalled the game. Hitman 1/2 are still unavailable to play through hitman 3 and my progress was wiped. The bugs are constant and the game feels like it wasn’t worth anywhere close to full price

    I'm a massive fan of Hitman, I have played since Codename 47 on the pc back in 2000, Not only is it an incredible stealth series, but the level design is memorable, gameplay fun, and plot mindblowing.

    I've replayed every entry of the Hitman series and was always sad that codename 47 was never ported to console seeing as it's the one with the best plot.

    When I learned about Hitman getting a reboot on Ps4 I was nervous but hopeful. Absolution was a disappointing entry in the series and a poor game in general, ditching everything that made Hitman great, from open-world levels to losing music composer synonymous with the series (Jesper Kyd).

    So onto Hitman 3, what do I think?
    Firstly, the level design and gameplay is fantastic (as it was on Hitman 2016 + 2). They really captured everything about what made hitman fun and challenging and managed to replicate it.
    I understand why they move hitman into an episodic release format. Each level is huge and can be played for hours upon hours, unlocking different stories and techniques, finding and solving challenges, and also allowing the developers to get the game out faster as they only need to complete one level at a time. Pretty clever.
    What I find less clever is that you need to buy the game, the levels separately, the next game (hitman 2) all of its levels separately, the next game (hitman 3), and all of its levels separately.
    So incredibly greedy.

    They should've just sold the levels individually (or as season passes) and had a single Hitman game that updated every 2 years, rather than selling new games that replace the old games and encompass all the levels of the trilogy. I can't see any reason to do this except for greed. This greed is currently biting them in the ass on Steam (pc) and getting them mass bad ratings, and I can't see how anyone views this cash grab technique as anything but pathetic.

    In Hitman, they kept the "Instinct" button which I hated in Absolution, which gave 47 superhero powers, to see through walls, and transform into a chameleon hiding from everybody, but nerfed it a little. So it's less of a superpower, it still lets you see outlines through walls, but you can't use it to walk past "enforcers" (enemies that see-through disguises) instead you need to be stealthy or change disguise. I feel this is a better use of it, and you no longer have power bars that deplete, so it's more of a map replacement assistant than anything. It's further nerfed on first plays of levels as it doesn't highlight targets, and only does so when you've completed the levels and have unlocked new starting locations. Very sensible.

    Onto the plot. The plot of the Hitman series is very dear to me. Codename 47 and Silent Assassin have some of the best plots in any video games ever. I've replayed the games dozens of times, and de to Codename 47 never getting a console release it means it's a challenge to play again. One upon a time it was "remade" of sorts, under Hitman Contracts, however, Contracts ripped out the plot which kinda of defeats the point.
    When I found out Hitman 2016 was going to be a reboot of the series, I hoped dearly that they'd redo the Codename 4 plot but with better cinematics and graphics.
    Alas this wasn't the case. Hitman 2016 has a terrible plot. I was incredibly bored playing it, and funnily as the game was released in fragments (level by level) the plot was so boring that I' completely forget what was meant to be going on by the time the next level was released. Hitman 3's plot is actually more interesting than Hitman 2016's, but even still, somewhat forgettable. The one plus is they finall anmted the cinematics! In Hitman 1+2 the cinematics were told in a freeze-frame style format, which is like a poor man's version of a comic book strip just without the dialog text. In Hitman 3 the cutscenes were glorious, just wish the plot was a little better.
    The series being a reboot yet ignoring all the incredible plot from the original trilogy makes zero sense. But none of the backstory of Agent 47 exists in this game. Not once is it mentioned why 47 has a barcode on the back of his head. Not once is it mentioned that he's a clone, or why. He's just some bald orphan that happens to have a barcode tattoo. Umm, k?

    My long-term dream of an HD console reboot of Codename 47 is shattered, the best story in the entire series never made it on console, not even as a remake/reboot, and instead, we get this boring mess of stationary 3d models.

    I can't help but feel that they made the story terrible on purpose just to make the levels more episodic and standalone. You can play them out of order and it really doesn't matter as you're not really missing anything.

    Anyway, regardless of the terrible plot, the game is very fun to play and the levels warrant hours or repeated plays.

    I still miss Jesper Kyd's music. Although there are some great tracks in the berlin level.    … Expand

    I've played through every Hitman game so far and can definitely say that this one is the greatest not only in this trilogy but also the best out of all hitman games. The trilogy couldn't end better. Thank you IO Interactive!

    Brilliance in level design. This is how I would sum it up.
    It's not infinately creative as it first seems to be, but the maps are absolutely stunning in both artistic design and in level design. The AI is dumb but this is a necessity for players to plan their masterclass assassination schemes Unmissable.

    If you don't like Hitman this won't change your mind.

    What an absolute masterpiece from start to finish! Now i havent played hitman since the good old days on ps2 and ps3. But after seeing the third on sale and by the fact that im a assassins creed fan i could gladly say that im less of an assasins creed fan and more of a hitman fan. Which this series has been pretty understated and sadly didnt get the attention it deserves as being the trueWhat an absolute masterpiece from start to finish! To explain the series, imagine what if metal gear and assassins greed had blend? This game is what defines it! A true espionage and action game like ever before. And now whats great about hitman 3 is that if you have all the previous games they automatically get enhanced and updated to the ps5 and hitmans 3 updated engine, which delivers some improvements but most notably the 4K 60fps gameplay which is smooth as butter on a warm bread. And makes the game environment look absolutely beautiful!
    Now because i have got hooked, and invested i also bought the previous games with all its dlc including the remasters of the old legends just because i want to support the developers as much as i can and show them appreciation for what such a phenomenal game they managed to achieve! Story wise its pretty your classic spy cia kind of action movie that you already saw, but the downside to all this, is that the cutscenes are pre rendered and lower resolution even on the ps5 so they look cheap. They really need to implement real time cutscenes, tho io interactive aint a major AAA publisher and studio, so i could be ok with that, but aren’t pre rendered cutscenes a thing of the past? Other than that and I forgot to mention that i went ahead and played the entire trilogy before the review, with ofcourse the updated hitman 3 improvements. So to conclude the story, its fine but not anything you would get invested into pretty much.
    Gameplay wise, now this is the big part! Remember when i spoke about assassins creed and metal gear blending in together? And adding new ideas to improve the action and espionage as a whole? Then this is what you get! Every level feeling extremely detailed and actually realistic! Most if not all of the places in the game are actually real life locations. And the devs went in completely out of their way by imagining like a secret base underneath a garage, house, restaurant kinda like the stuff you see in men in black. And its so well done here, making each level to be explored as if it is its own open world. Filled with life and detail like no other video game out there. And to add on top of that, the levels are extremely re playable making you always think of different ways to approach and kill your targets, its absolutely awesome! And the levels are so well done I honestly got really invested into the game. Overall this review is getting long but you get the point lol i have become a fan boy of hitman. Yes a fan boy! And I honestly cant wait to see whats next for the series! I still have plenty to do in the game. There are elusive targets and community updates and seasons, challenges, community targets and custom missions and sniper challenges as well as DLC and side contracts. Its just a boat load of content and stuff to do! You truly get your money’s worth here. And thats why you should support the devs and buy this game. Honestly just go and buy it right now!     This is my 1st time playing hitman and so far the game is beautiful! the controls are perfect and the voice acting and story are great. Im only 30hrs into the game but im having a really hard time figuring out the missions and the menu is not great. If your new to this series it will be frustrated because you have no clue what to do, Im kind of bored of the stealthy aspect but I get whyThis is my 1st time playing hitman and so far the game is beautiful! the controls are perfect and the voice acting and story are great. Its less replayable and levels feel connected in a bad way, it feels more like 1 more linear and focused experience than 6 separate locations with a lot of things to do like 1 and 2. However, credit where credit is due, its still a fun and engaging game throughout and makes you feel like a badass. Furthermore the compression here is great and manages to fit all 3 games in just 60gb, they also improved and polished the mechanics a bit more In this entry making them even better than they were in hitman 2. Its not a must play but its definitely worth your time.… Expand

    So finally, all games played in one row, pretty awesome. I like the story, I like the missions, I like the ideas, I like the maps, great game with a nice solid ending (more to come?) Really great series which I enjoyed. Played with all help tools off made it even better when you really had to think what you should do next to reach your target.

When I heard that you could launch both campaings & DLCs from hitman 3 I played all 3 campaings on my PS5 at 4K 60FPS and its a marvel. What a wonderful experience tons & tons of gameplay hours, loved the story & cinematics and the way you can take down your targets in soUnique gaming experience. Im also reviewing Hitman 1 & 2 since I got them for my ps4 but never got around playing them. When I heard that you could launch both campaings & DLCs from hitman 3 I played all 3 campaings on my PS5 at 4K 60FPS and its a marvel.     The story was really great and I didn't expect to actually have cutscenes and making it good at the same time since the first 2 games story was underwhelming. But honestly nobody plays Hitman for the story.

    The gameplay is pretty much the same, but still amazing and fun as ever with their ragdoll effects and unpredictably funny A.I. The implementation of the camera is cool but somewhat unnecessary because it is always in your inventory and can fill up an unwanted spot. The shortcuts are really creative and I wish they had put that in sooner in Hitman 1.

    I gave Hitman 3 a score of 9 because I feel like they wasted a map spot with the last one. Don't get me wrong, I like the last map and I think it's a nice change of pace, but it's too repetitive as you're only going for one thing every time you play it. In my opinion, the developers should've put the same amount of maps as the first two games into Hitman 3, and add the last map as an extra bonus map for the finale.

    In conclusion, it is a must-play game for anybody that likes stealth games.    … Expand

    I always loved hitman games since the original on PC, this game is great and it's fun how you complete every stage so many ways.
    The graphics is great and gameplay is always fun.
    It would have been cool if we can get all 3 games into one. The only downside for me is that you have to be online all the time to earn points and rewards.

In a time where developers produce the same old generic games with a graphical upgrade, the Hitman franchise stands out for being truly unique and innovative. Each location provides a sandbox of creative opportunities to assassinate the target. Will you employ subterfuge, donning a disguise to get close to the target and poisoning their drink, will you orchestrate an accident, sabotaging an electrical item which results in a sizzling death or will you kill them in cold blood, a single shot to the head with a silenced pistol? The opportunities are endless, there are no restrictions. As for the locations themselves, each are essentially mini open worlds. Instead of the typical generic huge open world maps which are always a mile wide and a centimetre deep, these locations, while smaller in area, have significant depth. No room or building is out of bounds. The locations also feel alive with good ai and large npc density. Graphics are top notch on the ps5 and the output is 4K at 60fps. In terms of a score, I will award the game 10 out of 10. This is a game for gamers which has clearly been developed by a passionate development team. I hope Hitman 4 is not too far away… Expand

    I have been a fan of the Hitman games since Hitman 2. Hitman 3 is solid, but it’s literally just another Hitman game. The gameplay plateaued a couple generations ago, so this game brings nothing new to the table. With that being said, it has fine tuned the Hitman gameplay better than any other game has so far, but I think it’s time to move the series forward. The maps are all excellent,I have been a fan of the Hitman games since Hitman 2. Hitman 3 is solid, but it’s literally just another Hitman game.     My only wish is that it was longer. Amazing Hitman game as always though. Perfect conclusion to the series.

    Excellent game! The depth and "custom" ways to complete various missions is a mix of fun, challenging and exciting. I had a lot of fun playing. However, I will say that I wish the base story within the game was longer. I beat the main story in a matter of a few cumulative hours. Would have loved to have been able to play longer before being forced to pay to play through the various DLCExcellent game!     Estou muito decepcionado com o fato da produtora virar as costas para o mercado brasileiro, pois os mesmos não tiveram a preocupação de sequer colocar o legenda em português, haja visto que hoje a indústria game tem nos proporcionados localizações de alta qualidade em nosso idioma, e os dois jogos anteriores possuíam legendas pt-br, fica aqui meu descontentamento.

    Even better than Hitman 1 & 2. Thanks IO!
    The best game on PS5 so far.

    Pros:
    - Great long time game support
    - Best levels so far
    - Great replayability
    - So much freedom!
    - Backwards compatibility with the whole trilogy

    Cons:
    - The train level (Romania) is just linear
    - I personally don't like the underground section in the China level, since it's very annoying when doing suit only.

    Bought the game on Amazon. When i install the game cant get access to the Hitman 3 campaign. All it says "get acccess". I tried uninstall and restore licence but nothing. Stupid company i will never buy anything from you again. I wasted 4 hours trying to fix this.

    if you are not a fan dont buy it- its extremly hard and annoyingly cant figure out what to do next.so if you are not a fan i guess u wont enjoy it that much thats the reason why you see some people gave it 10 (hitman pros) and some gave it 0 (not hitman fans)

    Hitman 3 is a well crafted goodbye to restarted series. It will surprise you with its complexity, puzzles and very nice looks, enhanced by the new generation of consoles. [Issue#309]

    This is how you end a trilogy. If you love this murderous series, you simply cannot miss its latest instalment. The campaign is a bit barebones, though, and a pause might be the best thing for the whole franchise.

    Hitman 3 is about the highest bar IO Interactive could set with the franchise. This is a universe the developer has lovingly crafted over the years and a perfect opportunity to let Agent 47 rest awhile. Hitman‘s laughable dark humor is here in spades, as the community devises weird challenges for each other that were never part of IO Interactive’s original plan. There are flaws–one’s that haven’t changed since 2016–but they are merely quirks that fans have embraced and come to terms with. As Escalations, Contracts, and new content trickles out over the months to come, Hitman 3 will continue to delight in its murderous, unique intent. Though 47 will eventually be traded for 007, it would be foolish to not recognize IO Interactive as an accomplished developer, responsible for an incredible game.
