Aug 26, 2024Although it is a more affordable game, Fate Seeker II is an example of a game with few standout features. The project does a good job of catering to those who enjoyed the first experience by improving and introducing some new mechanics, but the game's pace and the excessive simplicity of all other elements can quickly tire the player.

Jul 29, 2024There’s a good premise locked behind bad execution in Fate Seeker II. There’s plenty to explore and everything is connected to something. The detective work is meticulous and the awful translation makes reading for any amount of time a headache. Combat is sprinkled in as a highlight, but when most of the game is dialogue heavy, it is not enough. The poor presentation magnifies every weakness so avoid this headache at all costs.

Jul 22, 2024Fate Seeker II is a game that takes you to the wuxia universe with a good premise, but ends up being overshadowed by performance issues, narrative pacing and boring exploration. Despite being a single-player title, the game follows a structure similar of a MMORPG and with mechanics that, despite being interesting, tend to tire or even frustrate the player.
