    Fatal Frame main saga is now complete on PlayStation after almost 15 years! Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a wonderful experience for any lover of the J-Horror that deserves it's place as part of one of the best video game horror saga of all time. Entertaining story and beautiful art that take you deep in it's scary atmosphere. Even though that it's a game released originally on 2008 forFatal Frame main saga is now complete on PlayStation after almost 15 years! Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a wonderful experience for any lover of the J-Horror that deserves it's place as part of one of the best video game horror saga of all time.     As a huge Fatal Frame fan I'm so happy we finally got this game. It may make some things different than the other games, but this kinda also make it one of the better games of this series. It features some of the best spooks in any horror game I have played (no loud an cheap jumpscare, more subtle stuff), the atmosphere is amazing, probably the best story of the whole franchise and IAs a huge Fatal Frame fan I'm so happy we finally got this game.     It may look pretty outdated and have clunky controls, but this can be expected from an old Wii game. If you can handle a horror game that plays a bit slow, this won't even be an issue.    … Expand

    I love this game horror and play with my friends wet pants and the feel haptic control amazing and graphics excellent

    This game deserves so much praise for it's atmosphere, characters and the story. Honestly one of the best story in the series, I'd even consider it just as good as FF2. 10/10! Now hopefully we'll get the original trilogies soon!

    The only real problem that I have with this game is that the controls are really bad and take a lot of time to get used to, and that's about it. The story, the characters and the atmosphere are really good, while the combat and the upgrade system are just okay. Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse doesn't rival its predecessors, but it is a damn good game.

    Project Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse es, sin ninguna duda, uno de los mejores juegos de la saga. Con una espectacular ambientación y unos efectos de sonido muy logrados, os mantendrá enganchados a la silla incintadoos a seguir con la historia, que es otro de sus grandes aciertos. Si os gustan los juegos de survival horror de antaño, no lo dudéis, este es un gran juego que al fin podemosProject Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse es, sin ninguna duda, uno de los mejores juegos de la saga. Con una espectacular ambientación y unos efectos de sonido muy logrados, os mantendrá enganchados a la silla incintadoos a seguir con la historia, que es otro de sus grandes aciertos. Si os gustan los juegos de survival horror de antaño, no lo dudéis, este es un gran juego que al fin podemos disfrutar tras 15 larguísimos años.

    Thoughts-
    Don’t get me wrong, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is still a game that I’d recommend to fans of the horror genre, and especially to fans of the series. Those looking for good scares and palpable atmosphere will find them in abundance here, and the fact that this is the first time the game has released in the West is also significant, making it much easier to recommend for those who haven’t played it. But above all else, what this remaster proves most through its deficiencies is that a new, modern Fatal Frame game that irons out the clunkiness and hones in on the series’ biggest strengths could easily go toe to toe with the genre’s biggest giants. Hopefully, Koei Tecmo will find enough success with its recent Fatal Frame re-releases that it decides that it’s finally time to develop a full-fledged new entry in the series. Until that happens though, this will do well enough.    … Expand

    I know the GHOST HAND **** is something FF's famous of. But sometimes when they set the pick-up angle bad enough you won’t be able to see it not mentioning to avoid it. You f*cking developers CAN NOT design any punishment mechanisms players can’t avoid. If you do, then this is no along a game but a pure bloody insult.

You play as one of three protagonists, each with their own unique abilities, as you explore the eerie and dangerous environment of a cursed Japanese village. The game features haunting music andFatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is an amazing horror game that I can't recommend enough. The story is full of mystery and suspense, and the graphics are incredibly detailed and atmospheric. You play as one of three protagonists, each with their own unique abilities, as you explore the eerie and dangerous environment of a cursed Japanese village. The game features haunting music and sound effects, as well as incredibly disturbing monster designs. Combat is intense and requires strategy, as you must use your Camera Obscura to capture the souls of the malevolent spirits that lurk in the shadows. The puzzles are also challenging, but rewarding when solved.     Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a good remaster. It can give you a dozen hours of a solid thriller about a terrible disease, scary rituals and haunted houses.

    This sense of gradually increasing paranoia, along with a story that only becomes more metaphysically unhinged as it goes along, makes for a title that ultimately rewards patience and those players who are willing to slip into its atmospheric world like they would a warm, spooky bath. That said, I think many players will probably give up on Mask of the Lunar Eclipse after they’ve been asked to photograph another slow-walking ghost for the billionth time, but if they stick with it they’ll be rewarded with a survival horror experience unlike any other.
