    É divertido e desafiador, variedade de armas e inimigos boa, tem alguns bugs e probleminhas, rodar em 1080p não é tão ruim como parece no modo performance, só se afastar um pouco da TV que fica bom , o jogo é sólido e não tem quedas de frame rate, nota 8.

    1080p on a PS5 and Series X is simply unacceptable in performance mode. The colour balancing is extremely off putting, blacks look crushed, even after calibrating and on a C2 OLED panel. The quality mode is no better from a graphical standpoint, and 30 fps for this isn’t recommended. The combat is repetitive… albeit, has a solid feel. I’d avoid this on console. PC might be better.

    wtf are these graphics. If someone told me the gameplay I saw was from a ps2 I would have actually believed them. THIS IS NOT A PS5 GAME. also whats going on with the camera. where they blindfolded when making that lazy ass camera

    Complete garbage, ok, the combat is decent, but everything else is just plain stupid. The premise, the graphics are horrible. Game feels like it was released 20 years ago. DO NOT buy this game.

    Played it until chapter 4 on Evil difficulty. It was really fun and challenging at first, but sadly the combat got repetitive pretty fast for me.

    If you want amazing graphics, and amazing voice acting and a movie go for god of war. If you want mediocre graphics but gameplay that hands down beats GOW, ie...you want an actual game, get this. It absolutely smashes GOW as a game.

    Play on evil difficulty, makes it awesome.

    This is probably the worst case of Bullet Sponge enemies I’ve ever experienced. Dull and repetitive combat and enemies and environments. Everything is super linear and even character upgrades don’t really change the experience for the better. Overall awful game.

    Excellent game, excellent combat mechanics, excellent graffic. Surprise for 2022. For me, there is a good fight between GOW and Evil West for GOTY.

    This game is great. It can be summed up in one question. Do you want to punch vampires? This game lets you do it in droves. An intuitive combat system lends itself well to the chaos. The scenario is quite slick. Pretty much the epitome of a B-movie game. Will say this though it might get a bit repetitive after a while. Go get it now!

De começo isso parece legal, mas vai por mim, fazer isso por horas de Gameplay é cansativo porque os inimigos começam a repetir e da a sensação que nada muda no jogo muda. Chega um momento que não passa mais a sensação de recompensa no jogo e vem aquela sensação de que você quer acabar o jogo logo, pois não só a forma de batalha no jogo é repetitiva, os monstros, mas os puzzles também. Aliás o jogo tem até uma boa variedade de inimigos, mas muito mal aproveitado por conta da repetição e a forma que traz eles o tempo todo a cada campo de batalha e chega uma hora, na metade do jogo não tem mais inimigos novos então eles vão repetir em hordas todos eles até o final do jogo.    … Expand

    Easily one of the worst designed games I’ve played. I thought it would be right up my alley, and the first couple hours were. But it quickly grew boring, annoying, and rage inducing. No spoilers, but the final boss is one of the worst bosses I’ve ever faced.

While there were many upgrades available for purchase, I found most to be boring and unengaging.

    Throughout the game, players are stuck using a limited selection of 3-4 weapons that quickly become stale. Additionally, the swarms of enemies encountered frequently throughout the game made for an irritating experience, as dealing with such large numbers became overwhelming and tiresome.

    Perhaps most frustratingly, the combination lightning push and pull move didn't always work smoothly, often requiring multiple attempts to activate. Meanwhile, the limited ammo supply for the game's guns (often with only four rounds per clip) added another layer of frustration to an already lackluster experience.

    Overall, while the graphics may look great, the gameplay feels shallow and unsatisfying, making for a disappointing overall experience.    … Expand

    Diffuculty and upgrades are not balanced properly, making you struggle most of the time on some basic ennemies that should be easy after a while.

    Bought this on a whim on sale for PS5, love it! made up with it. Tons of fun, excellent graphics, pretty cliched predictable story but personally found it huge fun nonetheless. It’s the kind of game that is just pure genuine fun. It absolutely packs tons of rewards and upgrades at a hasty rate as you play. My experience was completely glitch and bug free, a rarity these days seemingly, andBought this on a whim on sale for PS5, love it! made up with it. Personally found the graphics very enjoyable and impressive many times. Combat is very satisfying and tons of fun. It’s linear but it’s like an old school original fun story game. Reminded me a lot of Bulletstorm, no nonsense pure fun and hilarity. Loved the theme too of Western with a vampires. Very creative, very fun. Highly recommended. Could play through multiple times too to collect all the secrets, collectibles and other goodies.… Expand

    I really enjoyed this game and think it deserves a higher score. Are there flaws? Absolutely. There are some visual hiccups here and there, the enemy variety gets a bit stale toward the end, and it's a little bloated for a few missions around the midway mark.

    But, man, it was nice to jump into a straight-forward, old-school, dumb and fun shooter that doesn't feel weighed down by the    I really enjoyed this game and think it deserves a higher score. I love the different sceneries and although the graphics lack in detail the overall presentation is very pretty. I love the different sceneries and although the graphics lack in detail the overall presentation is very pretty. With quite some cutscenes and a humorous storyline I got a bit attached with the characters which is unusual for a gory punch-shooter like Evil West.

    The performance mode runs well although the minor 1080p resolution is a bit disappointing. The sound design works well yet there are a few minor sound bugs and the voices are sometimes a bit out of balance.

    Overall my journey took me around 10-15hrs on regular difficulty. I enjoyed my playthrough and although I normally dont replay games this might go for new game plus to get all the skills and weapons fully unlocked. For the price tag and gory combat I do recommend this game. I felt paying the full price was worth but I would suggest probably to get it at least for a small discount because it lacks a little bit of polish here and there.    … Expand

    Evil West was an interesting experience for me.Personally the only reason why i bought this game was the Wild West setting, and one video from youtube called "Western Doom".The fact the i love wild west setting and doom made me bought this game.
    The plot of the game is not the strongest part of the game.There was several plot twists in the game, and i can say that for me all of them was very predictable.That is why i consider first half of the plot interesting, and second half as boring and predictable.And i was hugely disappointed when i saw the ending of that game, that was the biggest minus about plot in this game for me.
    The main thing that made me keep playing this game was its combat.It is amazing.Huge weapon variety gives you many ways to fight with foes.You can either fight in safe play-style mostly shooting the enemies from far away, or you can directly approach the enemies with a play-style like doom provides.But there was some minuses about the gameplay - most of the bosses.There is only one good boss for me - William Rentier , that gives you a fresh and challenging fight comparing with other bosses in this game.The first leech boss is a straight up Capcom standard boss where you need to shoot the weak spot.The second - Bruch, is the most disgusting and uninteresting boss that i’ve seen for the long time, theres nothing i can say about this boss except it is bugged as f@ck. And the final boss shows that developers ran out of imagination, for those who haven’t played - the boss gets bigger with each phase - thats all, and thats a final boss.
    Also the fact that this game has a lot of bugs hugely impacts the experience, but i can’t say that those bugs weren’t funny - when i was suddenly threw to the sky that moments were really refreshing XD
    But thats not a bad game, and i can recommend it to those people who really like action games.

    I absolutely love this game. The art and level design, though linear, are masterfully done. The cinematics are movie quality and the characters are very enjoyable. The story is serviceable enough to keep it moving along but nothing outstanding. The combat is very tight and weighty. It feels so good to play. It’s well worth the pickup— just do not expect a graphical showcase. In “Quality” mode, it seems kind of low resolution, but the frame rate is very smooth and obviously much higher than 30fps. It’s UnrealLoads of fun, and despite all the shortcomings I have not been able to put it down.The gameplay is very well tuned and picks the best from other action games like Doom and God of War. This could really be an AMAZING game if it had instead been built on UE5 and gotten a little more love.     A fun and challenging action game that takes inspiration from games like God of War and makes it it’s own in a crazy western chaos of a game.

    I cannot believe how bad this is, really. I watched someone play for maybe two hours and thought it looked decent and would be fun.
    The tutorial had so many red flags in it, i decided to return the game before i finished the tutorial. Rental regret is rare. im sure it would get better as it goes but such a woefully underwhelming first impression got me. "looks like you could use a hand".    I cannot believe how bad this is, really. I watched someone play for maybe two hours and thought it looked decent and would be fun.
    The tutorial had so many red flags in it, i decided to return the game before i finished the tutorial. Looks like i needed a skip tutorial option..

    but that was the first thing i noticed; the lack of Freedom. once you cross a glowing chain, you cant go back unless it remains glowing. that would have been a good tip for tutorial. or how when you knock enemies off of ledges they land on the invisible extended ground, stand up, then fall thru the invisible ground. some lame dev team shook up doom 2016 and added the half-ass mod. avoid.

    I’m not sure what everyone see’s in this game. Where to start? Once you get past the beat em up vampire fun that lasts for the best part of 15 minutes. You see this for what it really is, an Xbox 360 esque jank fest. The graphics and animations are outdated. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive and frustrating. Clunky controls, movement and combat will frustrate you to no end. The storyI’m not sure what everyone see’s in this game. Where to start? Once you get past the beat em up vampire fun that lasts for the best part of 15 minutes. You see this for what it really is, an Xbox 360 esque jank fest. The graphics and animations are outdated. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive and frustrating. Clunky controls, movement and combat will frustrate you to no end. The story isn’t much to go by, with forgetful and annoying characters. The levels are dragged out, making you repeat yourself countless times before finally putting this mess to bed. Coop is a whole mess in itself. Buttons and prompts that don’t work when you really need them to. Two characters who could’ve worked instead they just duplicate the main guy. Avoid at all costs, even if it’s free.     Do I recommend Evil West? Well, at this point, I suspect you already know if this is your type of game or not. If you’re one of those gamers whose primary concern is the sheer amount of content per dollar, then maybe wait for a sale. That math doesn’t really work out in the game’s favor, and there’s not much replay value outside of a half-baked co-op mode that doesn’t let player 2 save their game, and a new game plus. Neither of which fundamentally change the game. But, if you are more concerned with just enjoying a solid action game that isn’t afraid to do it’s own thing in a few ways, and beats you over the head with the small handful of things it does well while respecting your time and wrapping up right about when it should, then Evil West is a great choice. Being pretty firmly from the latter camp myself, I’d say this is one of the better action games of the year. I wish it did a bit more with its characters and surprised me a little more with its plot and level design, but there’s no denying the uncanny ability of Flying Wild Hog to capitalize on and squeeze every last bit of possible fun out of just a few cool ideas, and that ability is certainly on display here.    … Expand

    The fist 6 levels of this game are magical... perfect enemy variety, new encounters, battles are balanced... I got in love with the game. But from the 7th stage onwards I got completely bored, as the developers decided that to "make the game more fun", they would just throw you swarms upon swarms of enemies, and if you battle a previous enemie as a boss, they decided to throw not only 2 more but sometimes even 3 of these enemos at the same time. The result is a button smashing mess that I found less and less enjoyable, as now I had to use melee combat all the time, so you can kiss my shooter expectation. I felt I was playing God of War, and that was not the reason why I bouth this game.
    This is not the developer's fault, it is my fault actually... but it is a shame, as the world they created looks and feels nice, but battling swarms of enemies on and on in endless battles make it silly and boring. I did not like the game after the 7th stage, and I had to make me go the additional levels, and I thought that by gaining new abilities and weapons, combat would smooth itself a little bit... that was not the case.
    this game may be for people who like melee combat games and even when is not a hack and slash per se, it tries hard to be. I wansted a shooter game with some melee combat and it was not the case.    … Expand

    It's good for what it is supposed to be. A fun, don't have to think too much, linear shooter. Reminds me of older PS2-PS3 titles. Played it on PC and it ran very well but it was a quick finish. Fun game but not replayability so doesn't warrant a full price tag of 60USD. Grab this on special.

    A pure joy from start to finish. Never over staying it’s welcome, no filler, all thriller action. A love letter to games gone by. Gripping minute to minute combat that never got old. Satisfying and weighty and evolving over time enough to keep it feeing fresh during its 10-13 hour play though. Worth every penny in my opinion.

    The finished version "Evil West" became a really good game on it. Thus, the plot the action of the game just looks great and drive us through the pretty environments. The weapons and skills also make sense and perfectly round out the simple but complex action. If you like looking for an action-heavy shooter, you should definitely take a closer look at "Evil West".

    This is the most 7/10 game a game could be. It doesn’t do anything great, but is does a lot things okay. The story is crap, but the combat is surprisingly hard and feels great. It’s not worth $60, but def $20-$30. And I wish they made more linear games without political propaganda like this

Evil West did not hide its intentions with trying to be something it wasn't; it wanted the player to have fun, and I believe they achieved it.
    Pros:
    Linear missions: You never see a real linear game these days,    I found Evil West to be an amazing surprise of a game just wanting to be a video game.     Pros:

    Replayable: the mission structures are not very long, so if you missed something or really enjoy it, you can just go back to that mission with no consequences.

    Cons:
    Cringy: some of the dialog is just cringy.
    Glitches: For someone trying to find everything, I had a few cases of items being glitched into the wall. Also, some bosses left the arena, to never return.    … Expand

    Great game. Fine experiences. It is like God of War + the order 1886. It's action based with enough skills to make the game engaging. I like it better than most other games I played this year. Definitely don't judge the book by its cover.

Combat is so diverse and rock solid that puts a smile on you face from enjoyment and pure pleasure whenever you come victorious out of the battle. Every perk, upgrade and level up feelsI don't know about you but I am playing PC games for 30 yrs now and the amount of adrenaline rush and intensity I feel with EVW during combat I experienced only when I first played Quake back at the 90's. Combat is so diverse and rock solid that puts a smile on you face from enjoyment and pure pleasure whenever you come victorious out of the battle. Every perk, upgrade and level up feels hard deserved and sanctifying. Its combat system is ingenious and novel and I dare to say that it puts the bar higher than other 3rd person games. It allows you to develop your own combat tactics each time suitable for any type of enemies combinations.

    The game is performance optimized despite its beautiful graphics and hefty dynamic effects and rock stable even for lower specs PC's when FSR is enabled. I hit easily 75 FPS stable with high settings and FSR ON with my GTX 1050Ti.

    Of course it has some annoyances during play like a few times gamepad button presses do not respond but remember most of the attacks you perform are charged related and cannot be preformed if not fully charged. The charged upgraded pistol will also fire in an slower rate when you energy is depleted. Also an advice, don't play with Vsynch ON since this seems to be related to button misses in heavy combat scenes. Sound and effects are satisfying especially during finishers. I encountered only one sound bug when a zapping noise from an electrical cable where played in a loop after I came out of combat but this lasted only until my next battle encounter. Also once game environment sounds carried inside a cutscene and speech volume was suppressed. But all these are forgettable minor annoyances.

    My verdict is that EVW is a novel game with pioneering combat mechanics the Poland developer Flying Wild Hog put a ton of work in this game and a remarkable achievement for a relative little known company.

    For me EVW is so far the best action packed game of the year 2022 and a solid 9 score.    … Expand

    Un excellent jeu, une très bonne surprise en cette fin d’année , un double A de qualité , certes avec quelques petites imperfections mais qui sont vite oubliables tant le jeu est sympa :) le bon compromis entre Devil May Cry, God of war (reboot 2018/2022) et red dead redemption :) je le conseil fortement !

    Definitely my favorite game reminds me heavily of new age gow, and dmc. Loved the combat and world design highly recommend but id wait for maybe a discount. Its a bit short but highly replayable in my opinion.

    Quite solid old school linear TPP action game. It feels like a game from two console generations ago. Its like games like Bulletstorm or Call of Juarez: Gunslinger but TPP, more focused on melee combat, its a bit longer a bit worse. Very similar to other Flying Wild Hog game from this year: Shadow Warrior 3. You play it once and then forget about.

    Graphics are good enough. Level design fits perfectly. Combat is a lot of fun. You can tell that the Story is not main focus but fits in just fine. The story is okay and feels necessary to move the game along with a couple of likeable characters and one intentionally hateable the rest are uninteresting. Jesse’s relationship with his dad is very confusing as his emotions towards him seem to switch really quickly with no real reasoning. Sometimes I wanted to explore an area but there were barriers restricting it which was sad, Calico areas did feel pointless though the game didn’t need a hub area and all that stuff could’ve just been done through the cutscenes Despite these criticisms the combat and boss fights more than make up for it leading me to rate it above average at a 6. Definitely pick the game up if you prefer a brilliant and well thought out combat system with nice progression through skill tress and upgrades. An excellent combat system with an okay story with restrictive level design leaves me to rate this game slightly above average… Expand

    Great fun for a couple of evenings! Linear action game with solid combat and some nice humor in cutscenes.
    Doesn't shoot for stars at any aspect of it, and may be a tiny bit too short.

    Got this game on sale for the PS5 from my nearest Game store and my god I totally have a cracking good time playing it. It was definitely worth the money for me and more fun on the PS5

    A game from the generation before the last somehow found its way to us in the year 2022. The combat is great, the story is fun, the graphics are… dated. Perhaps you can stomach it for the few hours it takes to beat the game.
