It took a while but I ended up thoroughly enjoying the strategic management gameplay of Endzone - A World Apart: Survivor Edition. It may have a steep learning curve but if you're willing to put some effort in, you'll eventually have a great time.

While the solid gameplay from the PC version stays untouched, the new controls make it a little more difficult to keep track of bigger towns and all their similar looking buildings. The sluggish performance in later areas of the game make it even more clear that the PS5 version is not quite on par with the PC original.

Endzone is a deep city builder that works best when you relax with it in survival mode. If you can stomach the ridiculously long tutorial, middling presentation and technical shortcomings, this is an enjoyable game but there are a few better options in this genre on PSN to consider first.
