Dysmantle does everything you expect a good zombie survival game to do and more. It's a huge game filled with great ideas and is more addictive than chocolate-covered brain slices. Dysmantle is great.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with DYSMANTLE and am looking forward to exploring even more of its expansive zombie-infested world. If you take pleasure in crafting things while smashing up everything in sight, I highly recommend grabbing your crowbar and giving it a go.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming presentation of this indie title; Dysmantle is a monster that will have you in its grasp in no time. With an addictive destroy and craft loop, and a big open world full of intrigue and challenge, you'll be bargaining with yourself for just one last scavenger run every time. Elements such as combat, camera and graphics have obvious room for improvement, but there's no shortcoming that detract from just how involved you become with this game. Anyone looking to scratch that RPG itch with a new time sink seriously needs to consider purchasing Dysmantle soon.

Clear tutorial explains the basics without giving too much away. You start with nothing, but soon gain a tool that does minimal damage. As you progress you unlock different tools that can do more damage or dysmantle different objects. Its a perfect example of an open world game with lots of different things to do and areas that open up as you become stronger. It has drop in/out local co-op which makes it great fun for couples. Its hard to say how much there is to do in this game without spoiling the fun of discovery which is spot on.

    Pros
    Incremental exploration
    Essential couch co-op
    So much to do

    Cons
At night it is easy to fall in water or down a hole
Not split screen co-op so limits range of players

We have been playing the game about 100 hours and have completed about 90% and there is still lots to dysmantle and an entire area still to unlock.

Highly recommend to players who like lego games, minecraft and days gone.
