    I honestly was very excited about the game, but It was a huge disappointment. I rather play shadow over Mystara than this. Could not finish because the game is laggy and buggy. Even playing coop feels boring for me. The combat feels dull and there is no enemy variety. Do not waste your time playing this.

    Non merita la pioggia di 0 che sta ricevendo. Sicuramente il combat system è migliorabile, ma l'avventura è intrigrante, le missioni bilanciate e sfidanti. La migliore esperienza si ottiene in cooperativo. A tal proposito, ottima la gestione online/offline in caso di gioco cooperativo o singolo.

    As has become the norm, companies keep half releasing these games and then put a patch out later which is a game breaker for me. It “looks” good but that is all there is to this thing. Twice I had my character wiped. Several times my loot just disappeared out of my inventory. My gear at one point just disappeared off my    I really want to like this game. I mean c’mon, it’s Drizzt! Another time our whole party just mysteriously died right after resting in a safe area. Multiple times we got stuck floating in mid air or in walls or the game just froze altogether. The controls are sometimes altogether unresponsive. The list goes on. This has got to end with these companies just putting out craptacular money grab releases. Graphics don’t mean anything if it isn’t playable and this turd is not playable. This should have all been quality tested long before. Remember when developers took pride in their products? Remember when quality mattered and games were released complete? Pepperidge Farms remembers! It gets a 2 just because it looks good and it has Drizzt. Otherwise, if you want to play D&D, Neverwinter is at least free!    … Expand

    Enemy AI broken, you can actually skip all monsters because they just stand. Enemy variety lacking (even Avengers got more different kind of enemies), meaningless loot, graphics not in 2021 standards, animations awful (like shooting with bows only moves your arms while rest of your body looks like statue).

    Only good thing in this game are cinematics and some of the music.

    I really had high hopes for this game, all the trailers looked good, gameplay looked good, honestly everything checked out for me, so I made the purchase on launch, downloaded the game, I’m all smiles and extremely happy, then out of nowhere a huge dungeon & Dragon hand came through my tv slapped me in the face, the slap was for my expectations being too high, the slap was for expectingI really had high hopes for this game, all the trailers looked good, gameplay looked good, honestly everything checked out for me, so I made the purchase on launch, downloaded the game, I’m all smiles and extremely happy, then out of nowhere a huge dungeon & Dragon hand came through my tv slapped me in the face, the slap was for my expectations being too high, the slap was for expecting gameplay to be polished but instead is clunky, slow and no input response what so ever, the slap was for me spending $40 when the game is free on GamePass, but I wanted to get the platinum trophy on PlayStation. This game is a slap in the face, do not waste your time, I do not know how the developers can fix this game and obviously they do not care how the consumer feels considering all past game launch failures like anthem and cyberpunk, you would think they would want to put something out of a decent quality.… Expand

    Bought this game on both ps4 and ps5.. cross gen and all.. except that it doesn't work at release. If we don't get an update with when cross gen will be actually working I may just pass on this game I have had such high hopes on. top it off, the DLC voucher code for the next DLC.. didn't work and is not a valid code.. great.. wonderful.. WAY TO **** THE BED TOQUE.

    Not good. Very bad actually. Looks like a PS3 game, enemies are uninteresting, the game play is OK at best but clearly hasn't any effort into it. The game itself looks rushed and more like a moneygrab on the name of D&D.

    Played this game on the PC via Xbox Game Pass, got the intro $1 for the first month deal and I am glad i didn't buy this game. Frankly it is a letdown and as janky as I suspected it would be. This is a hack and slash looter with D&D slapped onto it. It is nothing like playing actual D&D. The story is good, but that's about it. The story is good, but that's about it. The gameplay is decent in terms of a hack and slash looter, but the combat feels clunky and suffers from a horrendous amount of animation locks. The camera angle for the lock on feature is awkward and awful. Movement feels slightly floaty and I could see where if you stop moving your character slides very slowly in the direction you were last moving. The layout of the level designs is ok, rewarding you for the bit of exploring you can do in each level. However, the areas start to look fairly repetitive. The hub design is boring as can be and completely empty of any characters aside from one annoying merchant. The visuals of the gameworld area decent, but the character models are ugly as hell. Not one of the iconic characters looks that iconic to me, just bland generic appearances. The voice over work is decent at least. The enemies start to get repetitive after a bit. The loot system is ok, but nothing special or interesting. The character upgrade system is also ok, but nothing special. The Ai is just the worst, it is the only thing that makes the single player combat tolerable, most enemies just stand there and seem to debate if they are going to do anything or not. If they ganged up on you all at once it would be much more frustrating with all the animation locks going on. But still the Ai seems piss poor at best.

    Co-op lessens the dull gameplay a bit in the fact that you have more people to share in the dull, bland gameplay. Co-op just ends up being more bullet-spongey enemies. The difficulty levels are not balanced, moving from the base tier to the next tier feels unnecessarily difficult.

    Overall I wouldn't buy this game, it feels slapped together with the most minimal of effort to polish it or make something that was a positive experience. i am done with the game before my first week of Xbox Game Pass has passed.    … Expand

    Wow What a huge disappoinment. It's hard to believe they let this out the door. It's impossible to believe they thought the gameplay was fun and smooth. This is a really really bad game. Outside of looking good on XboxSeriesX, I can't say one thing that this game does well.

    Bigest issue it the game play. Its not fun, combat is awkward, you play from a strange over the shoulder view . It cumbersome timing and animations are off. Why do character faces look wierder the better hardware get. Catti Brie looks like a Jersy Shore mum. Shes suposed to have Auburn hair , peircing blue eyes. Not look like brown haired spray taned plastic surgery addict.

    I loved Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 and this new game with the same name is staight up depressing. It really exentuates how far the modern game industry has fallen.    … Expand

    On PS5 the game runs well even though the game needs to be polished in a few aspects. On ps4 pro it runs ok. It's a shame you can't crossplay ps5 and ps4 versions of the game. I read that a patch will fix this and Combat feels a little clunky and the enemy AI needs improvement. The leap to next difficulty level is brutal and i think needs adjustment.However i love the D&D setting and theOn PS5 the game runs well even though the game needs to be polished in a few aspects.     Dark Alliance is an 8 hour long 3rdperson dungeon crawler that can be layed both solo as well as online with up to 4 players, hre you choose one of 4 classes that can be changed in between every mission… youll be running through thse dungeons, taking down enmies, and every once in a while you will gt the coice, set up camp here and regain all ehalth and consumables… and if you die this will be your spawn point, butif you decline to set up camp, the rarity of the loot in this dungeon increases… really having you carfully test your skill and confidence… I played with the more quick bladed assassin as well as the archer, going back and forth each mission so that I didn’t get bred of this game, and I feel this is the best way to play through dark alliance because pof how repettitve it ultimately is, from start to finish its all the same, do this 15- 20 minute long mission, finding chests, defeating enemies if you so choose, to get tp that levels boss and take it down… I was havig an absolte blast most of the time… there are definitely some challenging momnts here, especially from a ouple of its bosses.. and by I couple, I literally mean a couple as for the most part, the ai in dark alliance is awful, they aren’t alive ready foraction, they stand there, waiting to be triggered, which can lead to tons of lack luster fights.. even some bosses will just stand there to die, putting up no fight playing solo… gameplay wise though the combat can be thrilling with each charater feeling vastly different, but my biggest announce with the gameplay is that at least on the playstation 5, the game seemed to have a mind of its own, input combat commands by itself when id try to run or even mid battle… at the nd of each mission youll be given your loot and this is another issue I have with this game.. the loot is just awful here.. ypou don’t get a feeling of what cool item did I escape with, all of it is lack luster and lame, really killing incentive to explore, I was just rushing through these dungeons slaying these brain dead bosses, with only 2 or 3 really fighting back and giving me a challenge…
    Overall, I enjoyed Dark alliance, is it game of the year contender? Not even close, but its nowhere near as bad as most are making it seem, its worth running through and playing by yourself or with friends, but there sadly is no life, in the form of content or loot to keep you playing beyond the final boss…
    I give Dungeons and Dragons Dark alliance

    Good game buried in a sea of **** and bugs. The bugs and glitches are many, from funny a meaningless to totally annoying and just hard to think how in the world did the devs achive this kind of **** THE **** FLAGS/BANNERS ON THE HUB ARE LIKE AT 5 FRAMES PER SECOND!!!

    Basically I started playing it with friends. It was a nice grind through the story and we had fun farming equipment. It was rare that we got legendaries. The RNG however is bad - like real bad. While three of us didn't get any legendaries for 5 runs, the fourth one got four in a single run and two in another run and one in two runs. Then, when we finally got legendaries, it's rank 4.
    We didn't want to exploit the legendary-farming-bug so we kept playing, using a run where you rush to the boss and kill him. And honestly, it was fun. So much fun, we played every evening together to farm equipment. Slowly but surely we started to get our legendaries. It got easier with each new nice equipement, like it should have.
    Then one of them wanted to help me leveling up another character today. We started - I got all the loot, but even though it said I leveled from level 1 to level 7, I still was level 1 (with some rank 5 epics). Second run I got a legendary and though "nice!" - only to be f-ing kicked out of the lobby during the last screen. Why? "You can't continue playing without patch 1.005.000". The other installed it and had to restart the game. They got their loot. I did the same. No loot. No XP. Waste of a time. Again.
    So then we decided to make legendary runs again. We ran through - and died from the very first group which got activated way earlier. Then we reached the first section we usually clear. Wipe. And a second wipe.
    That's when we realized that despite us being 6/8 legendaries with decent set bonuses, since the patch it got a lot harder. We do like challenges, but this patch - that's just torture, prolonging runs even though we worked hard to get our current loot, which is supposed to be some of the best of the game - yet it feels like we're back to level 1.
    Oh and we got our runs - by playing slowly and more carefully, we managed to get a death-free run. And we got legendaries. Rank 4. Thanks, but no thanks. The patch took our fun away.

    Die KI-ist wirklich Mist, kann man leider nicht schön reden. Grafisch schaut es aber richtig nett aus und zu Mehreren macht das wirklich Laune. Leider trotzdem nicht das Game geworden, was viele sich erwünscht hätten, aber es mach Bock.

    Wow... You know how everybody used to say Balan Wonderworld was the worst game of 2021 so far? Well I can honestly say this game is even worse than Balan Wonderworld in literally every way!
    The only positive thing about this game, is the good-looking cinematic cutscenes filled with weird but amusing dances, but Balan Wonderworld does even that better than this sorry pathetic excuse for a    Wow...     Back in the day, before video games were a thing, everybody used to play Dungeons & Dragons passionately the same way gamers do with video games today, and back then all you had was a set of dice, a few plastic figures and a piece of cardboard. Video games were meant to be the future of fantasy role playing games, but in this case, D&D Dark Alliance was a STEP BACK in evolution! You're far better off playing real D&D with dice, plastic and cardboard! If there ever existed a D&D Tiger handheld game, I bet even that would be better than D&D Dark Alliance.    … Expand

    When the game starts I was hyped and I was like OMG that game looks beautiful. But in the practice arena I feel something is wrong with combat mechanics of this game. Then in the first chapter I was disapointed, frustriated and closed the game. Main goal of this game is combat and you can't fight because of this bad combat mechanics. I thought i was playing a game made in 90's. I did notWhen the game starts I was hyped and I was like OMG that game looks beautiful.     Absolute trash. Game is riddled with bugs. Disconnect issues, input lag, desynch, attacks don't hit properly, animations are janky, worse loot system than Avengers, locking on an enemy gets rid of your FoV to the point you can't see an enemy on your sides. Just wait for Baldur's Gate 3's release

    They should refund this game. Looks like a pre alpha, cross gen doesnt work, tons of BUGs, AI just doesnt exist. This is a shame. Ps5 doesnt accept refund, but this... This is must be against the law.

Thus, the plot can only entertain nicely and some errors are also annoying. But in return, the graphics and the battle system can be seen. If you want to fight through the varied dungeons with your friends or alone, you should take a look at "Dungeons & DragonsThus, "Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance" is a lot of fun on its own and in a group.     The game is severely broken, there are a lot of problems with enemy AI. I love D&D, and I love the Icewind Dale characters and lore, but man this game makes it difficult even for the hardcore fan.

    With so many great cooperative experiences already out there, it’s impossible to recommend Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance — it shows little promise from the start, and somehow only gets worse as time goes on. This is one quest that even the bravest warriors would be wise to avoid.

    Dark Alliance is riddled with fundamental errors with its non-functioning AI, lackluster loot game, and terrible camera. It is flooded with good ideas that seem awfully unfinished, badly designed and implemented that draw it downwards to being another trash looter hack ‘n’ slash game with a potential for a bit more greatness if it had more time invested in it.
