Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed is even more fun than the first remake with improved and colorful visuals, smooth gameplay and the same amazing sounds that we know and love. Some games don’t need to be improved but we sure are glad this one was.

Like its predecessor, Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed may not be a technical masterpiece or offer a thematic approach that appeals to all audiences. However, it is visually refined, it has a humorous narrative and offers simple and responsive mechanics, resulting in a fun game.

I highly recommend Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed. While Reprobed left me feeling a bit empty because it is another exact one-to-one recreation, the new updates and additions as well as a beautifully recreated world gives me just enough trust that Black Forest Games is the team to resurrect the Furon Empire.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed will appeal to fans of the original and a more niche audience that craves destruction without caring that the plot isn't too cohesive. Others who will be aficionados are players who like mayhem on foot rather than from a flying saucer and appreciate gameplay improvements, even if they make the title much easier. It's a fun experience for everyone who's willing to check it out, especially with the title's relatively low price point compared to many other PS5 games.

A glossy and streamlined remake of a cult classic faithfully updates the experience for modern audiences but struggles to make much of an impression nearly twenty years after the original release.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed looks and sounds great, like a well-made game from 2022 should. The issues start to arise with the gameplay. Open world maps feel small, missions are short, and the story lacks depth. I never hated my time spent with Reprobed; it started as pushing a pea up a hill but felt like heaving a boulder up a mountain by the end. There are times when I like to think back to being a 13-year-old boy who finds fart jokes amusing; you just don’t see games with the same raunchiness to them as you did back in my youth Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed has kept that level of humor, for better or worse.

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed might be a brutally honest remake of the original game, but that doesn't make it any more pleasant to sit through all its rough parts. Few elements of the core gameplay remain as fun as they were on the PS2, but it's far too shallow to be worth it, especially when it is still riddled with performance issues that can seriously effect your experience.

Really enjoyed this remake. Combat is great and i have found myself losing track of time while playing; if something that's a good sign.

I had to make an account just to post my own review after seeing some of the pretentious miserable “critics” opinions of this game.

If you can’t find the humour in inserting anal probes into NPCs butts while their heads explode so you can collect their brains, in a game called “Destroy All Humans” - a game that’s about playing a little alien stereotype from the 50’s and 60’s, and if you think that such a thing is tantamount to “sexual assault” (genuinely what the idiotic PushSquare review said) then that’s your own failing and this game isn’t for you.

Thank Christ it stayed as true as possible to the original, because it’s pretty clear people nowadays don’t even know what humour is.

All that aside, the game is as great as I could have imagined for a PS2 remake. It looks and plays great on PS5, has a great array of weapons and skins, NPCs react and look great. It’s genuinely hilarious to just romp around as a psychotic alien doing a Jack Nicholson impersonation. Mission structure is admittedly a little dated at this point but it still flows well enough and you can always play free roam once you’ve done the main missions to either mess around or gather collectibles. The addition of co-op is great and even has some cool mini games that weren’t in the original too. Anyone who says this is just a lazy remake is a grade A moron. I’ve seen some lazy remakes and this really ain’t one of them. You can tell that the team cared about the original game. It’s also not even being sold at full “PS5 game” price either, which makes me even more baffled by the negative reviews it seems to have gotten. Anyway, if you want a laugh, to kick back, and dare I say it destroy some humans, this game is for you.

Don’t listen to the critics. This game is a blast and especially for only $39. They could have charged AAA prices.

If you’re a fan of the series, I’ll be highly surprised if you don’t love this. Great price for what you get, especially if you get the bundle with the first remake. The game is just genuinely fun to play, I find myself playing for several hours at a time. It's kind of like GTA meets "Mars Attacks." *UPDATE* They patched the **** out of this game and it runs like a dream, I barely see drops and any bugs left are genuinely hilarious. Raising my score 1 point out of the sheer joy I have playing it and how much work they put into this remaster. It blows a lot of newer games out of the water in terms of next gen rendering. Expand

Edit: okay, this game deserves a 0, it crashed on me over 20 times while completing misc post content. Really really bad performance on ps5. A ps2 game running badly on ps5? Do not waste a dollar on this game until it is patch (so never buy it).
