    Despelote is a playable masterfully done trip down a nostalgic era when games, friends and football mattered in a way nowadays kids will never understand.

    Despelote is far from being a title that draws attention for its gameplay or challenge. It comes with a very different proposal for a very specific audience, but that does not diminish the credit of its experience. For those who enjoy curious excerpts from parallel realities to ours, which were previously only possible through television documentaries, you will be quite surprised by this game, even if it doesn't last long.

    Its charming art style, intuitive interaction, and emotional voice acting combine with a nostalgic and autobiographical story that immerses players in the childhood memories of its creator, though the ball control can occasionally feel imprecise and its short length may leave some wanting more.
