    This is easily the Best PS5 given Free on PS+. I would have happily paid full price, especially for a physical copy. The game content is extensive, massive, endless. There's always an upgrade or cosmetic for your character or weapons you're working towards. There are skin packs to buy, but are totally unnecessary. There's so much to unlock just by playing. Solo is fun and gives you a flying robot companion that's very helpful, but co-op is where it's at. Super addictive. Tons of varying environment, tons of mission types. My brother and I jump on each day since launch and usually play at least 6 straight hours before noticing. I absolutely love this game. I really can't find flaws. 4 classes all very cool and useful in their own ways with different weapons and traversal techniques to get around. Gameplay is simply a blast. Running to the dropship before it leaves at the end is fun as can be, blasting creatures trying to stop you, using ziplines and grappling hooks, etc. Just download it free and play. Never will you regret it. If this came to PS5 last year it would EASILY be my game of the year.… Expand

    I have this on PC and enjoyed the hell out of it. Once they gave it with Plus on PS I played it again here and it's really enjoyable on a controller too. Using Scout's grappling hook is a bit harder as I can't quickly switch to it to do crazy acrobatics like on the PC but that's doesn't make the game less fun. The team has done amazing work on this game. It's just way too fun.I have this on PC and enjoyed the hell out of it.     The game is cool, but I can't understand why it was impossible to add the Russian version when it is available on Steam on PC?

    Поставил 9 баллов, так как, игру получил по подписке PS Plus. Так игра на 7,5 баллов, интересная, но может быстро наскучить. Технический хорошее исполнение.     The reviews don't do justice to this game. I was so bored lately with every game launched, this game has brought back the magic of video games for me. It is so well balanced, the mechanics are polished, the atmosphere is awesome. Give this game a couple hours. I have 60 hours on the game and i still want to go back to it right now.

    This a really good game conceptually. But it lacks alot and sometimes its frustrating not because it is difficult but because simple things ruin the whole game.

    I got this game from psplus. I tried it and I liked it. But the first issue I had was with the general with the game. You play a short gameplay tutorial but that's it. You return to your station and there is no explanation    This a really good game conceptually.     I got this game from psplus. I tried it and I liked it. But the first issue I had was with the general with the game. You play a short gameplay tutorial but that's it. You return to your station and there is no explanation whatsoever about anything in the base. Its all so confusing at first and you can feel lost not knowing what is what and when to use it.


    Second issue is with gameplay as a team. There is only one deposit bot which is do frustrating when any member calls that bot. Sometimes.. well most of the time you will.get kicked for wanting to deposit.


    And here is the last issue I had in my 10 hours gameplay. I was playing a long mission against a boss. Suddenly after an hour. Everyone ran our of amok. There was no way to get ammo and that was so frustrating because we wasted so much time and the boss was on low health to call for ammo supply you must have this nitta which is limited mined or in the map. This is so stupid and frustrating to have this kind of mechanic in a game like that. It would make more sense to have a delay between ammo calls like 5-10minutes or something. This made me want to leave the game and I dont want to come back to it any time soon. I forgot to mention that there are very limited usefulness upgrade. Not even multiple perk or support skills or whatever that could make the game more fun or unique. It's a disappointment and a failure for almost a good game idea.    … Expand

I can’t imagine this being the same experience if you aren’t playing with a group of friends, so I think your mileage may vary, but there is a lot of fun to be had. You’ll enjoy the game you spend with it if you play with good company. If you have a solid group of friends and you all pick a class, this game is one of the most fun co-op shooters sinceWe had a lot of fun with this game. You’ll enjoy the game you spend with it if you play with good company. If you have a solid group of friends and you all pick a class, this game is one of the most fun co-op shooters since Borderlands 2. It takes some time to really warm up, because the first several missions do not provide much challenge, and it drags on. Once you get several missions in, there are many tense missions that are very challenging. I really appreciate the large variety in mission types, it is really impressive at how many different game types there are. I would highly recommend turning up the difficulty at first. The unlockables are great at first, but then begin to take far too long. The graphics are simple, the sound is generally pretty standard, but the tracks that play during the intense boss fights are awesome. The game is all about the experience with friends, it won’t be the same experience with random people. If you get a full team of four with everyone playing their own class, you’ll have a ton of fun. I went back and changed my score from 8 to 9 after a couple weeks of playing it.… Expand

    This game basically consists of picking a dwarf class (there being 4 with very different skills and weapons) and exploring mines, apparently randomly generated, to complete some objectives depending on the mission type. Since its a game based on repetition of some cyclical objectives, it is pretty boring in single player. Since its a game based on repetition of some cyclical objectives, it is pretty boring in single player. Despite there being objectives and unlocks for you to focus on, when you're playing alone you just go around doing the same missions all over again in very lonely mines, without any grander goal.

    Where the game really shines though is with multiplayer. If you can form a party with at least 2 other friends and each one picks a different class it can get pretty interesting. One class can create floors, while another class has a grappling hook to reach those platforms, meanwhile a third class can quickly dig through the floor while someone else guides them while looking over the map. Devs did a great job making a game where you're not just playing alone with other people around, you're really working together. Even the HUB area has some pretty fun stuff to do and you'll find yourself laughing out loud with your friends.

    The game also has nice ways to give you a guideline so youre not just playing random missions, with cosmetics in a season pass, different weapons and even different game types hidden behind specific tasklists, meaning that you always have something to look forward and actual feel youre progressing through the game. As I said before this isnt enough to keep you going in single player, the fun is in unlocking the different content so you can explore the game with your friends.    … Expand

    Simple, fun, engaging and addictive. Easily my favourite game from Ps+
    Game has so much depth that even after 60 hours i'm not even close to discovering everything.
    After Ghost Ship Games fixes some bugs and better optimise the game it will be a perfect co-op experience.

The game does kinda force you down a path of playing as only 1 class until you get that class to level 25, which takes almost 30 hours to get to in my experience. The hub area offers a surprisingly large amount ofUnbelievably fun co-op shooter, a must play with friends. The game does kinda force you down a path of playing as only 1 class until you get that class to level 25, which takes almost 30 hours to get to in my experience. The hub area offers a surprisingly large amount of fun to be had while you wait for freinds to log on or get back to. From zero gravity effects, a barrel kicking minigame and a variety of beers that can be crafted and purchased that offer various in game or cosmetic effects, such as blacking you out and sending you back to the med bay, shrinking you, freezing you, and so forth. These effects pair will with the jukebox and dancefloor. I wish there more options for which song you pick and which dance your dwarf did. The leveling is pretty grindy and I did run out of assignments to do around lvl 25.… Expand

    Deep Rock Galactic mixes incredible FPS action, addictive exploration, and endlessly entertaining gallows humour that combine to create one of the most compelling co-op experiences available in video games. Beautiful environments powered by incredible procedural generation will have me teaming up with friends to return to the hostile subterranean world of Hoxxes IV again, and again, and again.

    While the Playstation version of Deep Rock Galactic has a few downsides here and there, overall, the game is a blast to play with your friends. The procedurally-generated environments, endless variations on missions, and the customization will provide hours upon hours of fun and challenges.
