    This is not fun open world game like GTA 4/5 or Watch Dogs, no sir. This is dating simulator for people who have never spoken with women before. Lifeless city, boring story and soulless characters. Not recommending this game to anyone.

    All that was absolute lie and everyone involved in Cyberpunk 2077 development knew that it was big fat lie. PC version was missing tons of promised features, traffic AI and NPC AI was in 2001 video game level. I had so many bugs already in first 10 minutes. City is literally lifeless and empty and no amount of patches will fix that, unless they remake the whole game. Console versions were even worse. Cars and NPC's appearing and disappearing randomly in front of you, assets not loading in and so on.

    "oh look, now two years later they added patch where you an re-color your apartment". This is not enough and this is not okay. This kind of game development has to end. This is most fair 0 out of 10 i have given to any game ever!    … Expand

    This patch didn't fix pretty much anything that i was expecting. I don't care about new hairstyles or apartments, these were never the issue. What needs fixing is bugs, police chase system, better pathfinding for AI and stuff like that. Guitar playing should be minigame like guitar hero, etc.

There is no improvement to the physics whatsoever. It still has some of the worst physics I have ever seen in a video game. The lighting effects are terrible. This game looks like something that the Farming Simulator developers would make if they were given a AAA budget. This game proves that CDPR are nothing more than an off-brand Ubisoft.

    There is nothing to do in the open world. It is still boring and empty. You still can't customize any cars. There is no aircraft or boats that you can use. It's funny how a 2002 PS2 game that takes place in the 80s known as GTA Vice City has more vehicle variety than a 2022 PS5 upgrade of a 2020 game that takes place in the future. That is embarrassing. The AI is incredibly stupid. The NPCs keep bumping into each other. While the game isn't as broken as it was before, it still has bugs and glitches. I've seen NPCs sitting down on invisible chairs multiple times. I had an enemy in a sleeper hold and the NPCs were still talking to each other like it never happened. When I bail out of the car, the protagonist doesn't flip around like it would in GTA V PS4 first person mode. And this is supposed to be next-gen. Speaking of next-gen, the city roads are too skinny, there isn't enough space to park my car on the side of the road. That is extremely outdated, considering that most developers stopped using the lame PS2 narrow road design when the PS3 and 360 came out. The missions are boring and repetitive. The story is trash.

    For goodness sake, when is the multiplayer going to be available? It's been over a year already. If it took over a year to make this piece of garbage actually playable, then I can't imagine how long it will take them to finish developing the multiplayer. As I said earlier, CDPR is an off-brand Ubisoft. At least it doesn't take Ubisoft a million years to fix 1 game and add multiplayer. Sure the upgrade is free, but what good is any of that when I still paid $60 for this poor excuse of a game? I don't recommend this game at all.    … Expand

    CYBERPUNK is the real deal now!!! I played this on my PSPro and it was not good. I finished the game because it was incredible but I knew it could be a much better. WOW....you need to reply and see this on the PS5...I can't believe it. CDPR did it and it took a lot of work to get this game to play like this. I was giving 30 minutes just to see it again.....now i need to play the entireCYBERPUNK is the real deal now!!! I played this on my PSPro and it was not good.     Started playing at version 1.5. Avoided at launch. Glitch and bug free. When everything is going great cyberpunk is one of the best video games I've had the pleasure to play. An immersive story, fantastic world building and great characters. However outside of gigs and missions there isn't a huge amount to do in the oddly un-interactive world. You can't steal cars for money. There's no "new game+" which is odd as even on hard mode I became god-like quite early on in my netrunner and katana playthroughs to the point where it became boring and unchallenging. There aren't any additional game modes like you get in other games (eg. multiplayer, survival, deathmatch, etc). I am hoping that the developer can work on this for future updates - if we had the same level of interactivity as what we have come to expect in games like GTA and watch dogs then this would be a world I'd be quite happy to stay in for a long time.… Expand

Characters have great chemistry, especially V and Silverhand (kudos to Keanu for giving us such a badass character, youre not Neo or Wick, Youre fkin JohnnySilverhand!). The Cyberpunk 2077 I played is one of the most awesome, fully realized game worlds I've ever experienced this side of Bioshock Infinite. I'm not familiar with the heavily criticized initial version. The Cyberpunk 2077 I played is one of the most awesome, fully realized game worlds I've ever experienced this side of Bioshock Infinite. In a game filled with good characters, Night City is the best one. This game is like Deus Ex with very high production values and a subversive streak crossed with GTA 5. The look of the world is so fully realized stylistically, and embodies that sort of 80s sense of futuristic cool. I loved the main storyline. It's like a great Gibson or Richard Morgan novel. The theme of iconic legends from the past returning for one more stab at glory resonated with me.
    Characters are great, as interesting as Witcher 3. Each person on the street looks different. Missions are very well-designed. Replaying virtual experiences(BDs) is a really interesting evolution of the investigation scene.
    On the downside, even now the game is still pretty buggy. NPCs getting stuck in cars that flip over them. The car summon feature is a mess, and will summon cars into buildings. There are all sorts of weird cutscene/storyline jumps and mission questline bugs. I can only imagine how bad the game must have been initially.
    You sometimes have to hack shards of data to decrypt them. This involves scrolling down a long list of other shards to get to the encrypted ones. Really annoying. It's the lack of attention to detail in certain gameplay aspects that is juxtaposed so harshly with the quality of the story and world-building.
    The biggest personal annoyance for me is that the dialog fast-forward button and crouch button are the same, so whenever you're trying to stand up or duck you can end up skipping important conversation.
    Overall, I found the good to be well worth perservering through the bad. I also really like that CD Projekt tried to do something bold and original here. They could have just made a Witcher 4, but they swung for an epic open world Cyberpunk game, which hasn't been tried since Genesis Shadowrun as far as I can recall, and even if it didn't quite land, I support developers thinking big like this.    … Expand

    Pros 1. Night city looks amazing and the setting is immersive 2. Graphics have really been improved from the previous gen 3. Packed with content, most of which is actually engaging. 4.     All these crybabies giving cyberpunk 2077 zeros shows how entitled and being toxic has infiltrated gaming!!! And if they say otherwise it's because nothing is ever good enough for them. I love cdpr and even though they messed up with cyberpunk 2077 we need to remember how much work the teams put in to this game to fix it. Thanks cdpr for making things right and fixing you're game.

    + One of the best well written games I even played. deep characters, exciting story and interesting side quests.
    + beautiful environment. Nice details in materials and really good lighting.
    + Both sex and relations status is well made, not as cheesy as it usually are. Its made both fumbling and loving.
    + Super good animations, characters don't feel stiff.
    + I love the soundtrack!

    - to much loot that you stop caring. To many weapons, clothes and consumables. And in the end you still look like a cyberclown. I prefer how they did with assasins creed valhalla after AC: Odyssey. Fewer stuffs to collect that feels more important. Now when you find weapons they are just one step from getting sold. Could be more focus on the world and the fighting if less loot was dropped. Maybe just find loot that's be used for upgrading your favorite stuffs.
    - The different between Normal and Hard mode is to high. Would be nice with something in between.

    The bad news is that Cyberpunk 2077 is not the RPG game that anyone hoped it would be. At best, it is an adventure game with RPG elements. The game plays like shotgun wedding between Grand Theft Auto and Deus Ex. You have almost total access to a giant open world city and cyborg gadgets and hacking skills. The open world is not as lively and interactive as GTA and the stealth and hacking are a pale comparison to Deus Ex. The gameplay can be fun, but so often you run into poorly designed encounters and see the limits of the game engine.

    The story itself is a dud. I spent about 70 hours running side missions and avoid the story altogether. Some the side missions only unlock with story progression and other require a higher level. This kind of gating of content is never fun, and the true openness of games like GTA and Skyrim (and now Elden Ring) is the reason those games are so successful and other games are not. The issues with the story start with pacing. You have to follow and talk to a lot of slow walking, slow talking NPCs. Dialogue hardly matters except for a few ending options, and even then, the ramifications of dialogue choices are opaque. Some of the characters are likeable but the interactions with those characters almost always occurs outside of gameplay and I kept hitting the circle button to skip dialogue and get back into the action. This isn't Skyrim where you can have a companion to hang out with during missions. You also have zero interaction with rank and file NPCs. You can hit square to talk to them and they will give you one of 5 canned responses like "I need a nap." The star of this game is Johnny Silverhand, voiced by Keanu Reaves. I do not believe that any major actor has every recorded so much dialogue for a video game. The voice acting is fine but the Johnny Silverhand character is a toxic douchebag who does not in anyway enhance the gameplay experience.

    For a game set in a world filled with cyborgs and 2077 technology, gear options are not fun. All of the gear is gated by level. You cannot be enterprising and save your money to buy awesome cyborg parts early in the game. You will need "street cred", the right level, and the right attributes. The clothing and weapon options are also extremely limited for the protagonist. You cannot wear everything the NPCs wear like in Skyrim. Instead you find that the protagonist wears whatever gear has the most armor, making personal style meaningless. Weapons choice is the standard stuff you see in every game: pistol, SMG, assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun, and machine gun. You could be playing DOOM 2077. Actually, this game reminds me of DOOM conversions in the 1990s like Rise of the Triads. Just take your standard open world shooter, change a few character models, and then call it Cyberpunk.

    The game play is fun when the story does not get in the way of gameplay. I focused on hacking and could take out waves of enemies from a safe distance with only the touch of a button. (Or two buttons, L1 and square.) After about level 20, the game play is too easy. The game will warn you about the police and their MaxTac unit but I never saw them. Some of the enemies are boss level characters that cannot be taken down with high level hacks, but even they are just dumb a.i. driven NPCs. My protagonist had the level "Body" and managed to win every boxing match in the game. In some ways this is the true RPG experience: start out weak, level up, become a living god, and tear through your enemies like they were made of paper. All of this overpowered gameplay feels good until the game gives you another scripted story sequence to burst your bubble. CD Projekt Red has already announced expansions for this game, and my advice to them is to get out of the way of players.

    All in all, Cyberpunk 2077 is not a bad game. If you avoid the bugs, Cyberpunk is actually a good game. With the right management, it could have been a great game. Maybe it still can be.    … Expand

    There are still bugs on occasion but they seem to be the exception now and not the rule, the experience is much, much more stable... on PS5 with the next gen patch. The ray-tracing and improved graphics finally show off how good the Red Engine can actually look.     Its not perfect and there are still things that need to be addressed but for the first time, if you have a next gen console or a beefy PC, its finally worth trying out as its as close to a finished product as its ever been. And its pretty good.    … Expand

    Finally much improved from the original release. Highly recommended. Interesting story and lots of things to do. Could it be better with more variety in the side jobs? Sure, but still a great play.

    Since the updates this game is great. Super fun story great characters. The side missions are awesome but the gigs are a bit lackluster when compared to witcher iii. Regardless it’s definitely worth a play at this point

    After hot fixes and major updates Cyberpunk is finally a game we can play (on next gen). You are doing yourself a disservice by not giving it a second chance.

    The story is good.
    The gameplay is Okaaaay.
    It still need a lot of thing to make it a 10/10, like transmog, more story, more cars and bikes.

    This game is just wow... storyline, atmosphere, music (!!!), graphics! I loved it. I bought ps5 version just recently, had no performance issues neither any bugs. Worked perfectly fine!
    I feel sorry for those who bought this game at the very beginning and was disappointed by it's quality at the release. Now this game's just awesome!

    Amazing game, amazing story, the PS5 edition works great with extremely few bugs like on every other game. It's a must play title for every action rpg fan out there. Highly recommended for PS5. It looks great on fidelity mode but i always prefer fps over looks and on performance mode it runs smooth and looks pretty good.

    Yes, it has its mistakes and Bugs and stuff. But the most beloved games in history had these too. Yes, the marketing lied about the ps4 and xbo versions and yes this was just nasty. But the game itself was made with love and passion and you noticethis in every little detail. And every score under at least 8.5 is just a spit in the face of the people who worked on this massive project.

    - crashed 7-10 times during my playthrough (but that's in 100h plus that I spent, had more trouble with Fallout 3), has some annoying bugs one must google and the weapong/driving systems could need improving, as well as some AI.

    Negative things are not nearly enough to make me give this anything else than a solid 9 out of 10, a great gaming experience!

    Just finished the game on PS5. I would definitely wait a bit more just to let the developers to achieve the best technical quality but despite that it's still a great game with a soul.

    I think this game is a solid 9. I just finished it with most side quests done and tried 3 different endings so far. I can do the rest but i am super satisfied with my choices already.     The game works really well and it's enjoyable, definitely worth buying on discounts.
    I felt some times that i didn't have enough "tools" to be stealth but i still enjoyed good hard core action with blades and guns.

    I’m playing the latest patch 1.52 on PS5 and this game is a vastly improved from when it first launched. The PS5 version supports haptic feedback. Plus there are very few bugs and almost no crashes.

    I was hooked to the story from the beginning till the end. Therefore, I consider this a great game. I played version 1.52 on PS5 in PSVR cinematic mode on the biggest virtual screen. Before the latest PS5 software update I had issues with the sound, but that got fixed after the latest PS5 update. I experienced very few bugs (NPCs standing in the air, cars flipped upside down, some weirdI was hooked to the story from the beginning till the end. Therefore, I consider this a great game.     I suppose people who liked the witcher 3 because of the way the story was told, and who are interested in a dystopian, sci-fi, cyberpunk world, and who put story over gameplay will enjoy it.

    I really liked the atmosphere of the world, I enjoyed the story and most of the side missions. I liked the voice acting, and the sound design. Though, I recall one side mission where the music was a bit annoying. Overall I was very positively surprised and would agree with the mostly positive reception by critics. Maybe all the negativity surrounding the game tempered my expectations. Anyway, I would love CD Project Red to release a PSVR2 version, even if it is just the most minimal adaptation with game pad control, just to walk through the world once more.

    Though, there are many things to criticise. Indoor graphics and graphics in confined areas look really good, but outdoor graphics felt often underwhelming to me. Also, cars disappear to nowhere in a rather visible way. The NPCs create a good enough backdrop but react rather unnatural to the player, and albeit offering the possibility for conversations, not a single conversation unrolls, if I recall correctly. Other games did better. The gameplay is not very challenging. In particular stealth felt a bit too easy, whereat "all guns blazing" felt a bit too punishing at times (single hit kills), but maybe that was due to my character build. In terms of character development, there are a few perks I would consider essential. The majority, however, did not seem very relevant. All in all unlocking perks did not feel too rewarding. Also, I don't think that there is any new game mechanics. As many people pointed out, most of the dialogue choices do not seem to matter. On one hand this is disappointing, on the other hand I was not very fond of seemingly, harmless dialogue choices in the witcher 3 at the very beginning, which severely impacted the story. In the end there is one story in particular, the author wants to tell. So, it makes sense to "force" the player on that particular path. There were a few dialogue choices which would reveal some extra information helpful for a mission. Maybe some of the choices would unlock information which are impossible to come by in a different way. I might have missed those. Maybe, I did not understand how to really play the game, but the game did a poor job to guide me through the missions i.e. discovering side missions and choosing side missions felt most of time unnatural. All in all there is a lot to criticise, but I was still hooked from the beginning till the end. I very much enjoyed the story (including side missions) and was not too bothered by all the issues.    … Expand

    Cyberpunk is one of the best games I've ever played (and played a lot of them). PS5 version gives such a memorable experience. Combat, story, graphics, art direction, Johnny Silverhand, outstanding side quests - almost everything is perfect in this game! I can't wait to see what's coming in DLCs.

    And to CD Project Red - you've created a legendary game. I can't thank you enough for this jewel!

    a great game. I am insanely glad that cyberpunk 2077 has found its best look and I was able to appreciate it. the emotions that the game gave me in the next gen version are hard for me to describe in words. CDPR you are amazing ! I really hope that you will resume work in Russia soon

    I utterly enjoyed playing through this, and have recently got the Platinum. I absolutely LOVED the city and the characters. Honestly, Night City has got to be one of the best game worlds I've ever experienced. There is so much going on and it has a fantastic feel to it.     The gameplay is fun as you can choose several different directions: stealth, hand-to-hand, the normal variety of guns, or "netrunning" which allows you to essentially hack enemies and the environment in various ways to attack them. It's a shame that once you're down one path you can't really change. There is no way to max all stats and no way to reset your attributes. I'm not sure why this decision was made to be honest since it did limit the amount of variety of the gameplay (e.g. I maxed my "Body" stat and just beat everyone up with Gorilla Arms after that - I would've liked more opportunity to experiment with Netrunning and other combat methods but it seemed pointless and underpowered once I'd levelled up). I guess it encourages multiple playthroughs but it's quite a long game so I can't imagine doing a second playthrough any time soon.

    The missions and story are all pretty good - with a few real stand out memories. I enjoyed them for the most part. The NCPD police activities got pretty samey and some gigs were better than others. But for the most part I enjoyed the action. I would have liked to have seen more action with the police - I basically never got a wanted level other than a few times when I accidentally ran someone over. It would've been interesting to have some missions where you had to escape a higher police presence since this really ended up being a non-factor in the game. I would've also liked there to be more races as I enjoyed the 4 that were there.

    It's no secret that the game with littered with glitches when it was first released. While I did encounter a few in the ~100 hours that I played, this has largely been fixed now and shouldn't be a major factor in playing the game.

    Overall I'd definitely recommend it and will be looking forward to a sequel (ideally one where it actually works on the launch date!)    … Expand

    Loved this game.. definitely recommend people try it now that it's fixed. I don't know about the PS4 and Xbox one versions though but the Ps5 worked fine for me.

    Of course, the game has its flows: some abilities from the skill tree are useless, the game starts incredible but starts losing its punch reaching the end (it keeps being a very good story, but far from what it could have been), too many useless objects, police it's a bit dumb, the IA has improved but is far from the great ones, some mission have too much "walking and talking" sections which can slow too heavily the rhythm of the game.
    But, overall, I keep considering this a very good game, which too many good things and ideas which surpass its flow considerably. One of the best games I've recently played.    … Expand

    Since the update I've had no more issues than you'd expect from any game. Runs very well all in all. Game itself is fantastic, and exactly what I'd hoped it would be. Interesting stories, both main and side quests, well written characters and excellent world building make for an immersive and gripping experience.

    This game finally rocks! PS5 version runs smooth, looks awesome (4k and 60 fps) and unleashes the full potential of CD-Project Red. The story is captivating and gameplay is great – CP2077 still has some problems and it does not deliver devs promises, although it finally is playable and enjoyable on consoles.

    Game is pretty good now. They fixed most of the bugs and the story is fricken insane. I'm personally no fan of keanu reeves. I feel like adding him was waste of money. Otherwise i would have given it a 10 if I didn't have to see his smug celeb face. People play games to escape the real world not have it thrown in their faces. Feels like an out of place advertisement from wb.

    The PS5 version of the game is fantastic. The story is enjoyable and you get a bond with some characters. The amount of detail in the open world is also insane, I really like that you sometimes get text messages from characters asking how it's going, this makes the game feel alive.

    The ps5 version with the new patch is fantastic. I'm really enjoying the story, the characters, it looks great at a solid 60fps. There are still some bugs but mostly visual glitches - nothing game breaking so far. I wish this is the game that had been released at launch.

I wish night city had more to do other than the gigs and quests for example there's a one time shooting range quest and a one time racing quest, at least make them replayable. Also two words - Johnny Silverhand. In awe of the fact that CDPR has created a virtual band called Samurai with their songs available on Spotify just for this game.

    Niby są te niedociągnięcia, takie jak glicze, wszelakie błędy, to muszę przyznać, że się dobrze się bawię przy kompatybilności wczesnej, jak i teraz się bawię przy natywnej wersji na PS5. Widać starania CD Projectu, więc trzymam za nich kciuki

    After the 1.5 patch this has become delightful. Engrossing story, marvelous voice acting. Surprising fun gunplay and hacking (caster) mechanics.

    After the 1.5v update, I think this game is sorta kinda migha worth playing on your hard-to-get PS5 IF you have some money left around. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers made this game much better than on pc, and it runs miles better than on PC. Get this one if you must. This is much more decent than any other port.

    Cyberpunk 2077 has been an awesome experience. The update to graphics has created more immersion than i've felt in awhile for a video game. I was struck with awe just looking around Night City for the first 10 hours. While not all bugs removed, there's been a substantial reduction, enough that it has been a non-issue for me. Balances to combat have been improved (you could be OP in SkyrimCyberpunk 2077 has been an awesome experience. The update to graphics has created more immersion than i've felt in awhile for a video game. I was struck with awe just looking around Night City for the first 10 hours. While not all bugs removed, there's been a substantial reduction, enough that it has been a non-issue for me. Balances to combat have been improved (you could be OP in Skyrim too). Combat is fun. The AI kept flanking me one mission (and even discussing it) leading me to get mowed down several times until I realized I had to keep moving.

    I think people underestimate how challenging creating these types of games are and need to get a grip. Witcher 1 was nothing like Witcher 3, and they have laid the groundwork for several more games in my opinion.    … Expand

Revisited it once the proper ps5 version was released and it was noticeably even better. Apart from the occasional crash which was annoying but not the end of the world thanks to autosaves.

    Important! I bought and played the game in april 2022. Amazing story and gamplay. There are still some bugs but most are funny rather than anoying.

    Played it in 2022. One of my favourite games of this year. Although it was not a masterpiece ( mostly because of bugs that are still there or open world mechanics that are missing), I still had a lot of fun and fell in love with Nightcity.

    Waited for the next generation release. A few hours in and I am truly immersed. Great story and gameplay with the right balance between linear and open world experiences. I understand the criticism surroundings the game’s unjustified, premature release. However, with two years of fixes, the game is an incredible achievement for CDProjectRed.

A nivel narrativo doblaje al castellano, atmósfera es y sigue siendo un 10 de juego, y por eso le doy al nota porque la experiencia es obligatoria y se juega muy bien en PS5    … Expand

Life paths only impact the initial prologue I think.
    It's NOT revolutionary in any sense really, so if you bought the pre-release hype, you'll likely never be satisfied; studios need to stop over-promising. But bought at reduced price and with modest expectations it's good.
    Take the best of this and the recent Deus Ex games and do it in a poiished manner and you would have something special.
    I'm playing this and AC: Valhalla right now, and I'd personally rate this higher overall despite being shorter    … Expand

    Any-who, the game has an incredibly dense and overwhelming atmosphere, which is supported by an outstanding narrative of an impressive story. this is accompanied by a fabulous character drawing that breathes life even into the minor supporting roles in the story. it's a rare event that i complete a game in its entirety including side quests and tasks and hasn't happened since The Witcher 3.
    The rpg part ist neat and provides a variety of choices and different aspects that has an notable impact on your play style, but not to that extend that id like to see in a rpg game.
    The emphasis on chosen strengths isn't extensive enough and upgrades aren't as noticeable in combat as I'd like them to be. Unfortunately, it is more of a gradual, inconspicuous development without any real highlights. This is probably also due to the fact that the fights are kept quiet simple. so rather not a great choice for fps fans.
    Nevertheless, its an outstanding game, that is incredibly fun to play and provides 100+ hours of enjoyable contend when you are not in a rush.    … Expand

    As of the way the game stands today, it’s a great experience that is totally worth checking out, but still feels a bit shallow. The biggest selling point is the atmosphere and presentation. It captures the cyber punk aesthetic better than any other media to date. The retro futuristic cars, clothing, and setting are extremely well designed and really add to the immersion. The amount of billboards and advertisements thrown in your face, the constant noise of commercials everywhere you go, the neon lights coming from every angle, even down to the graffiti all throughout the city that feels like each individual piece of graffiti was carefully placed rather than randomly added as an afterthought, and it creates a very immersive world. I also appreciate the depth to the explorable world - the carefully placed buildings that you can enter, the alleys, the underground areas, the stairwells, everything is designed in such a way that the city really feels like a city, rather than a series of blocks. Is it all that it was advertised to be? Absolutely not. The game sometimes feels like most of the resources was spent on the world design, but not as much in making it feel like a complete experience.

    The overall story is pretty good and the voice acting is exceptional all across the board. However, the story is incredibly short. It feels like once the story begins to pick up steam, you’re actually beginning to slide into the finish line. The main story is very short, and feels more like a DLC.

    Gameplay has been tremendously improved since launch. The gunplay is solid but unfortunately it does feel like a bit of a generic shooter. That’s not to say it’s bad, because it’s not, it just adds nothing new to the crowded market of shooters. The driving is the weakest part of the gameplay, I still don’t understand why the driving physics are the way they are - very loose and difficult to steer with precision - I find myself crashing into things when I would never do that in any other game. The character development has been greatly refined and it actually makes sense now, however it’s sort of useless, you can go through the entire game without using a single skill point. All in all, the gameplay does nothing really wrong, but it doesn’t stand out from most other shooters and open world games. There are still glitches all throughout the game, but it’s on par for the likes of a Bethesda open world game - you notice them, but the rest of the game makes up for it so you don’t care. They really aren’t that bad anymore.

    I think you have to go into this game with a free mind. Ignore the disastrous launch, ignore the terrible press, ignore the promises made prior to release, and most importantly ignore the whiny and entitled gamers that will not stop complaining about everything. I hope Cyberpunk will eventually become a comeback story, similar to No Man’s Sky. It’s clear that this game had a ton of passion, thought, and effort put into it, and that they do not want to allow years of development go to waste. It’s fun and playable, but it still feels like a shell of what they wanted the game to be. You don’t notice it as much in the first 5 or so hours, but when the game opens up, the flaws become more and more apparent.    … Expand

    I have beaten this game 6 times and had a different experience each time. Player builds, life paths and alternate endings all provide you with a ton of choice and variety. Playing on hard and getting the legendary ending without losing anyone was the cherry on top. This game is tremendous and I highly recommend it. Can't wait for the sequel!

    This game was made for next gen consoles. Im glad I waited for the next gen release. Game is definitely moving in the right direction. Only 3 hrs in but the environments, aesthetic and art direction are great. The city is gorgeous at night, and the soundtrack really fits the atmosphere

    I waited for the next gen update and the game is really good at this point. In my opinion the game is best played with the performance mode where it runs really smooth and looks great.

    patch 1.5 is massive,Cyberpunk 2077 after patch 1.5 is a different game , night city feels real , npcs are reactive and feels they are actually there not just walking zombies, city feels alive - there's something going on all the time - graphics/framerate looks great- driving is much better -this is whole new game after patch 1.5next gen update.(through there are some framerate drops inpatch 1.5 is massive,Cyberpunk 2077 after patch 1.5 is a different game , night city feels real , npcs are reactive and feels they are actually there not just walking zombies, city feels alive - there's something going on all the time - graphics/framerate looks great- driving is much better -this is whole new game after patch 1.5next gen update.(through there are some framerate drops in certain area of the map bt no such bugs exits now -{in my gameplay}).. overall this game is really good and enjoyable ... waiting for so long was worth it ..… Expand

    Fantastic action RPG in the vein of the Fallout series. I have sunk hours into the game already and barely scratched the surface.

    Giving a 10 as it had so many kinks to iron out originally, but the patches have addressed almost all of these and the PS5 upgrade was FREE too

    Off the top of my head I can’t think of another game with a backstory like Cyberpunk 2077. It’s fortunate that CDPR were able to spend the last year-plus continuing development of the game, listening to feedback, adding content, and fixing tons and tons of issues. Many games would simply not have gotten the extra time and money spent that Cyberpunk got, but this time CDPR got it right. Now is the right time to play this game; I’m not saying it’s flawless and perfect, but it’s nearly so, for such an elaborate, massive game. This is the game we were hoping for back in December 2020, but I’m reminded of the adage ‘better late than never.’ And that certainly applies here.

Quest design and storytelling, though not without their moments on the critical path, too often feel rife with unrealised potential. Cyberpunk 2077’s abrasive personality is still clear as day too, inescapable in its script and blaring out from Night City’s many questionable billboards.     Despite its mismanaged launch, Cyberpunk is a success story. What began in December 2020 as an incomplete, often-unplayable sore spot for CD Projekt has become one of the most immersive RPGs I’ve ever played – one whose visuals, soundtrack, and narrative can go toe to toe with the strongest in the genre. Despite Cyberpunk’s technical headaches, I’ve enjoyed more than 40 hours in it and don’t see myself losing interest in its rich world or side content anytime soon. Cyberpunk’s botched beginnings warranted the scorn players treated it with, but if patch 1.5 is any indication, Night City’s future looks bright.
