    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Terrible. The game has no pack a punch. No wall buys. No original perks. No Easter egg. No weapon progression, no side Easter egg. And 1 map. And also no wonder weapon. The multiplayer is that exact same as modern warfare 2019 if not worse. And the campaign is boring, incredibly short, and terrible story and story telling since the entire thing is a flashback of stories we won’t care about.… Expand

    Story is about 6 hours long, very good graphics, basically no bugs, very fun. If you are hating it, you are just delusional and wanna hate just to get attention.

    Repeated game with the same mechanics every year and on top of that reapeted disrespect and islam hatred. Unacceptable.

    This game by no means is great. It's ok at best and definitely the worst of the three. The story mode, so far, isn't half bad. The characters are compelling enough to keep playing through even though it seems PC at times. It's nothing fantastic and pleases through narrative but who plays COD for the story mode. Next you have zombie mode. This mode is pretty basic and lacks the essentials that made Black Ops zombies entertaining. It may be fun at first playing with some friends but overall is very repetitive and becomes tiresome quickly. Last you have multiplayer. There's nothing that really stands out on multiplayer. Most of the levels are ok at best. The weapons are nothing to be excited about. Some are way overpowered and need to be nerfed. The killstreaks can be a pain. The worst part of all is dealing with constant hackers and cheaters. Almost every other match you're bombarded against a team who can easily shoot through walls and kill everyone while you're cornered at your spawn point. There needs to be better presence in banning these individuals. Hopefully when they launch their new cheating system, it will help out. Another annoyance is the long after game summary and voting system. It takes up too much time and seems unnecessary plus you can not back out during it. Overall the game is ok. Nothing spectacular. There is still plenty to be fixed and hopefully improved on if they want to keep people playing.… Expand

    99% of soldiers in WW2 were straight white men not angry lesbian soviet chicks, this game is disgusting and the virtue signaling is off the charts, avoid at all costs

    I downloaded it on Christmas Day. I didn't start to play it until this week. I was shocked how poor the graphics were on the xbox one. It literally looks like a 360 game. It plays like it also. The plane handling is garbage. How could a AAA game get it that wrong? The campaign plays like Battlefield 1. (groups of small stories). It is this reason why I have only bought 2 games in the last year. Don't waste your money with this. I haven't said that about any COD game except COD Black Ops 4. It is not fun or challenging. poor AI and so linear you would think this game was from 20 years ago...… Expand

    disappointing short campaign with more movies than gameplay with crap characters and the multiplayer has regressed and actually gotten worse a blatant excuse to level up low level variety of guns that you have for warzone this call of duty provides nothing absolutely nothing literally nothing
    both Cod Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 are equally barebones unifinished and absolutely shiate

    The worst COD by far, especially storywise. Not one thing this iteration does better than any cods before it. Been buying them every year but this one left such a horrible aftertaste in my mouth than I'm just gonna skip the next couple of them unless they fire the people who made and wrote this garbage.

    Ignore these Call of Duty fanboy 12 yo's who gave this game higher score. This would be better if it was actual add on for MW19 because it's basically a reskin and nothing else. CoD is becoming again copy pasted **** like over 5 years ago. MW19 looks more next gen than this garbage

As I called it… SBMM killed this game a long ago… it set them for failure 2 years ago… hackers and bugs, terrible spawns, unbalanced weapons, I don’t believe I needed more after warzone terrible situation, but promise this was my last activision ever purchase… Expand

    Call of Duty: Vanguard is a great Call of Duty entry with absolutely stellar ser pieces, fantastic visuals, and plenty of modes surrounding an excellently fun campaign. The only downsides are the muddied stories… not to mention what is happening in the company that published it. Highly recommended for CoD fans and people looking for a bit of mindless fun set in WW2.

    Even though the campaign is extremely predictable and the multiplayer is plagued with tones of issues, Call Of Duty: Vanguard is, after all, still a Call of Duty title, and will appeal to all hardcore Call of Duty fans.
