    If Cancer got a new name, it would be Vanguard.
    This game is the definition of what not to do in a cod game. The Campaign is hot trash, the "historically accurate" multiplayer is just another level of dog **** and don't even get me started on zombies, I **** LOVE Zombies, (I spend probably 90% of my life playing through every zombies mode that came out since before I was 7, I'm 19 now) but    If Cancer got a new name, it would be Vanguard.
    This game is the definition of what not to do in a cod game. The Campaign is hot trash, the "historically accurate" multiplayer is just another level of dog **** and don't even get me started on zombies, I **** LOVE Zombies, (I spend probably 90% of my life playing through every zombies mode that came out since before I was 7, I'm 19 now) but I just can't say the same thing about Vanguard Zombies I would rather donate both of my kidneys before I play another game of Vanguard Zombies.    … Expand

    En fin siendo sincero podria quedarme 1 dia hablando de los defectos de vanguard, pero no puedo simplemente es un mal juego.

    si me preguntas a mi es 1.000 mejor Black Ops 4 ¡SI! un juego que ni siquiera tiene campaña!

    This game had potential. Based off the trailers, it actually looked like a WW2 shooter! Turns out we can use anime skins for our smg's in a world war shooter?? The game was and still is broken with game-breaking bugs. It seems the only people who enjoy this game are at the max, ten years old.

    Its typical COD gameplay, nothing rly new, historical accuracy is below 0, amount of propaganda and political correctness is overwhelming and really hurts so I don't know what was the point in making this game the way it is. Got it on sale and im glad i didn't paid full price, not worth it. Even on sale i think i overpaid.

    The multiplayer is sadly the best part about this game mainly because the movement was perfected to the max other then that the multiplayer has a ****ty spawn system, ****ty 3-lane maps, insane amount of latency issues and a **** ton of unbalanced guns.

First off the maps are garbage and trying to implement blitz mode was the worst idea possible as it just causes more spawn issues than the game already has on normal pacing. The guns are broken and can easily take out anyone and even the gun you get at the first level can be the most powerful gun in the game. Call of duty just continues to collapse and it's getting worse and worse. On top of all this the weapons are like black ops 4 mixed in with world war 2 and mixing futuristic with old doesn't work because the gun balance is extremely shifted to the laser beam weapons. You can't even call this game a world war 2 game especially when it comes to online. I really hope mw2 doesn't suck as bad as this did.… Expand

People, german as well as allied, gave their lives for their countries and their sacrifice isn't honoured but is instead ridicouled through female elite snipers "kicking some Nazi butt" as a review of this game once stated. Take a bow sledgehammer you've somehow managed to dethrone advanced warfare as the worst game in the series. You were already at the bottom of the barrel and yet you figured out a way to add a sub basement.     I'm present in 4, where they only add horrible maps, suitable for camping, weapons with attachments that make no sense, it's simply impossible to play.
    Bugs since launch that haven't been fixed and optimization issues that have gotten worse every season. Other than these crucial issues, the campaign is amazing as always and the zombies are    Honestly, I was loving Vanguard until season 2.

Stack that on top of the most stereotypical nazi antagonist and boom you have this **** This years zombies is probably the worst rendition we’ve seen so far; they completely ditched the rounds and tried out an objective based gameplay loop, which might have worked out if there were more than 5 activities. That’s right, you do the same 5 activities over and over and over again until you get bored and let the zombies have their way with you. The multiplayer is full of an egregious amount of paid for content, 90% of their effort in multiplayer went towards getting you to buy ridiculous skins. (To those who have wasted money on these skins, literally everyone in the lobby is laughing at how ridiculous you look). Mid maps, super unrealistic and stupid attachments, “woke” operators, and garbage monetization completely overshadow the actually pretty decent gunplay, but the credit goes to infinity ward for that since it’s their engine. The series is at absolute rock bottom here, and I pray this **** doesn’t make it into MW2… Expand

Toujours les mêmes maps qui tournent en boucle dans le multi. Des respawns qui te font mourir en boucle alors que la map fait 23 hectars. Tu te fais tuer en une demi-seconde lors d’un duel alors que tuCe jeu n’a tout simplement aucun intérêt tant il est déséquilibré et bourré de bugs.     The multiplayer is absolute **** You die to fast to even have a chance to react against campers or preamers. This game was made for noobs. You only have chances to get streaks when you sit around in corners preaming the **** out of an angle.

    I downloaded it on Christmas Day. I didn't start to play it until this week. I was shocked how poor the graphics were on the xbox one. It literally looks like a 360 game. It plays like it also. The plane handling is garbage. How could a AAA game get it that wrong? The campaign plays like Battlefield 1. (groups of small stories). Down to the weapons, of which a majority exist in CoD WWII already, which would make sense, I mean they're from the same timeline, but that really just characterizes how stale the formula has become. CoD hasn't been truly innovative since Advanced Warfare, which is sad to see. The gameplay feels fine, the guns shoot well, everything is smooth and characteristic of millions of dollars being poured into it. Yet CoD isn't daring, they've become complacent with weak stories and low fleshed-out motivation, the same generic gamemodes in multiplayer, and a pretty bad stretch for Warzone. This might as well have just been a dlc for Modern Warfare, because there is hardly anything setting this game apart as its own title. The menus are practically the same, the guns are literally the same, the motivations are the same (in that they're non-existent), and at this point I'm struggling to find a reason to buy any new CoDs anymore. Clearly, I'm not the only one either as this game's sales are mediocre at best.

    CoD Vanguard is an uninspired example of why games like this continue to fall off, and a solemn departure from ingenuity, history, reality, emotional reality, quality, and ultimately the legacy that has been forged by the strong relics of its past. 2/10.

I don’t care that this is an alternate reality of WWII, this is insulting and embarrassing. Activision please die already and give everything up to Microsoft.

    Vangaurd was twos steps back from MW 2019. Spawns broken. Graphics worse and muddier. Weapon balancing all time low. Disappointing maps and unplayable servers, with crashing connectivity issues. Played on XSX and PS5. Buyer beware. I recommend not buying this game. If you have to, buy used and return it within the week, to see for yourself.

I found the maps to be rather boring and ill thought out and the game just didn’t feel or play like a COD game should.     Very disappointing COD, just a load of bad decisions. I'm here for multiplayer & it's not fun at all. Endless fire & kill streaks that you can't see the enemy, you have to rely on the name tag (including the fact that the enemy may look exactly like your teammates.
    Maybe it'll improve 6 months from release date, but at this time I regret the purchase.

Historical accuracy has been thrown out the window. If you want a real WW2 experience I suggest the several other WW2 games in this franchise (World at War or WW2 2017) or even BF5.

    Guns are so damn bad to use, especially on first levels: you always need to fully level it up to unlock attachments that make them viable. Until last level they are garbage or almost.
    Shipment is now on a crippled version on TWO DIFFERENT LAYERS, never seen anything so dumb in my life before (in last years any old map ported to new CoD games has been ruined).
    I could go on, but I'm so sick of this game that I stop here.

    This game has sense only if played to unlock/level up guns for Warzone.
    Most of the time, not even that way.

    Save your money, buy anything else.

There is nothing truly special about it and it lacks complete creativity, but it isn’t completely bad. While it’s slightly more fun than the zombies mode, it still doesn’t stand out. There are an average amount of weapons so far with gameplay that still retains things about previous cod games while also fixing up main gameplay mechanics so it doesn’t cater to campy play styles while still offering room for other playstyles. The ammo system if complete garbage and only makes things more complicated and unneeded. Maps are good and fit the cod formula and small details such as team names could be fixed but isn’t too necessary. The gunsmith system is well made, combining elements of the MW system and the CW system leading to a pretty good customization system. Lastly, the campaign.     Wont buy any CoD until they either remove or significantly tone down SBMM + they need to add a fcking rank mode.
    Furthermore im not supporting a company that remains silent about the biggest problems ever --> SBMM, game balancing etc.

    This game is absolute garbage, the campaign sucks, the multiplayer sucks, the zombies sucks, there is not one good aspect of this game. I spent $40 on it and if after playing for a bit I decided that if I could go back I wouldn't play it if someone paid me $40.     Literalmente todas as armas são quebradas, com exceção das SNIPERS. Qualquer player pode pegar uma shotgun e destruir todos no lobby então como consideração final vai tomar no cu sledgehammer games

    Call of Duty: Vanguard is a great Call of Duty entry with absolutely stellar ser pieces, fantastic visuals, and plenty of modes surrounding an excellently fun campaign. The only downsides are the muddied stories… not to mention what is happening in the company that published it. Highly recommended for CoD fans and people looking for a bit of mindless fun set in WW2.

    Even though the campaign is extremely predictable and the multiplayer is plagued with tones of issues, Call Of Duty: Vanguard is, after all, still a Call of Duty title, and will appeal to all hardcore Call of Duty fans.
