A decent game which has some fun features. It is definitely worth your money - oh wait. There’s no reason not to try this game, just costing you the click of a button! However, the game is - not surprisingly, as it was made by just one person (!) - not exceptionally pretty or free of glitches. In addition, while it said that the game was playable while seated, this did not work for me asA decent game which has some fun features. It is definitely worth your money - oh wait. In addition, while it said that the game was playable while seated, this did not work for me as you often have to pick up items from the ground, or have to put items on your low cactus-hips. Still, the game is worth a playthrough, and is an impressive achievement for a single developer. Expand

Considering it's a solo developer project it's quite an insane game for what it is. I played through the entire game before writing this which took me about 7ish hours.

The VR mechanics are rock solid the story is witty and told by the cacti following your around. At times the language reminds me on South Park. Every time you think "okay, now the game is over" it goes on and on and surprises you with more story, new enemies, big boss fights or new friendly characters. Impressive for a free game made by one person. The game is on the rather difficult side and does not take the player by the hand. Personally, I see that as a challenge but others might find that frustrating. For new VR players it is probably good to start with an easy difficulty (called Daisy flower in game). This can be adjusted at any moment in-game.

Had one weird glitch where I dropped my gun and it disappeared but other than that nothing out of the order.

Cactus Cowboy is a growing franchise that is totally worth to keep an eye on! It's simplistic design doesn't do it much harm and the gameplay feels great in VR.
