Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator largely achieves what it sets out to do. I take issue with its means-and-methods, as it relies heavily on minigames for many of its paramedic tasks, but that doesn’t make it a bad game – just a far less immersive one.

Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator is pretty mediocre title. There are some realistic puzzles which keep you occupied for a while. However, don't expect to be driving around with an excessive sense of speed, where you're rushing through the city and saving the patient's life with heroic actions, defying dangers. It's not that.

Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator tries to capture the chaos of an emergency response but fails. Clunky gameplay, stiff graphics and a tone deaf portrayal of mental health leaves it feeling like a missed opportunity and not a life saving experience.

Ambulance Life is frustrating with its clunky game engine. If you're interested in medicine, it might be worth a try, but its major issues are hard to ignore. I can't even call it "fun." Just go steal an ambulance in GTA V—that's more entertaining.

Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator has potential, but in its current state, that’s all it is. The diagnostic system that underpins the game was broken by the day one patch and remains in a state where the game is effectively unplayable. The gameplay itself is a bit repetitive but no less so than the nine to five grind. We just hope a future patch resolves the issues, because as things stand, we can’t really recommend this.
