I've thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, the quietness and calm being broken by the sounds of bullets and artillery, the frantic rush to the sectors, the bloody hand to hand combat used by the cossacks. The game isn't great graphically but at least it isn't bf1 with it's Weapons that barely anyone used and it's terribly inaccurate representation of the first world war, this game justI've thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, the quietness and calm being broken by the sounds of bullets and artillery, the frantic rush to the sectors, the bloody hand to hand combat used by the cossacks. Tannenberg is an amazing objective based WWI fps. It has large open battles while also have the grit of trying to hold an objective. This game does not get near enough credit. Playing as nations such as Austria-Hungary, Germany, Russia, and others has been a blast, with multiple places where battles take place. This game takes the cake for one of the best WWI games out there!

The game is average but sadly you will find most of your enjoyment playing against bots. There is a small number of people still playing this game. The fun part about it is a majority of the time you fire one shot from your bolt action and get one kill if you hit it.

I understand that much of WWI was fought in the mud and it probably didn’t look like a Hollywood blockbuster, but I can best describe my time with Tannenberg by saying that it never felt like I was in the middle of a war — instead, I was more often wandering through an empty battlefield trying desperately to not quit in the middle of a round. But at least I learned some history!

Unstable framerates, pop-ups and brutal aliasing – this console port of a decent shooter should have been scrapped.

Tannenberg is a solid and tactical multiplayer shooter with a keen eye for historical accuracy. Lower budget production values aside, M2H have done an excellent job of recreating the realism of being entrenched in the Eastern Front and the constant danger of being caught in No Man's Land.
