    I'm sick of games requiring a constant internet connection. If the developer decides to shut down the servers, the game is useless. Why the f would I need a internet connection to play with bots???

    Besides, the performance is a joke. constant crashes and lags.

    Its a pitty. The game could have so much potential to become a worthy left for dead clone. but its not. its simply a rip-off.

    Cheap, but pretty bad, at least on consoles. Everything about this game feels like the deva just thought "let's make it good enough and at least Warhammer fans will buy it". The missions feel very similar to one another despite the different locales. It is like a poor man's L4D, with Skaven.

    Pretty, and pretty boring
    In vermintide you can play as 1 of 5 different classes either alone or with other players… Neither way you play is free of frustration None of these classes really feel different as everyone gets a close and ranged weapon, so it doesn’t matter who you choose… Every level in this game is essentially the same… Run forward and    Warhammer the end times vermintide
    Pretty, and pretty boring
    In vermintide you can play as 1 of 5 different classes either alone or with other players…
    Neither way you play is free of frustration
    None of these classes really feel different as everyone gets a close and ranged weapon, so it doesn’t matter who you choose…
    Every level in this game is essentially the same…
    Run forward and kill the rats in your way…
    The levels are beautiful to look at, but exploring them is very dull
    There’s really no incentive to explore at all, and a handful of maps are easy to get lost in since this game lacks a map or any indication of direction…
    But either way you’re just finding your way forward and slicing or shooting at rats…
    It gets old fast…
    Each mission also has 0 checkpoints…
    So if everyone dies, you fail… no matter how deep you are into a level…
    During act 1 I had no issues with neither online players nor bot players…
    I would occasionally get a player too focused on running around rather than completing quests so they’d drag things out… but for the most part everything went smoothly…
    I’d get jumped by a backstabber or snagged by a strangler and my teams ai would come to my rescue…
    By time I got to act 2 however all of this seemed to stop…
    The bots in this game were like those annoying players not keeping up with me, so if I got caught in a bad situation that was it for me… they wouldn’t rush to heal me like they had been in the 4 missions before…
    And they’re completely useless as the end of act one transitions into more objective based missions that team ai don’t help with at all leaving you to have to carry every barrel, watching your own back.. defending points yourself, as the bots seem to have absolutely 0 concept of strategy programmed into them or any awareness of what’s going on in a level…
    This game is so samey that the developers thought, oh just make them kill stuff was sufficient enough… buts it’s not and it leaves you feeling frustrated when you’re faced with the dilemma of waiting for a human to join or hopping right into a mission with a bot…
    The bots are so garbage that there’s one missions for example where you have to protect a generator, and the 2nd one is on a plot of land with a gap you cant jump..
    Clearly the only way to defend is by shooting them…
    My character ran out of ammo and my other 3 partners just stood there with their magic wands up their butt instead of shooting at them…
    By the way, massive design flaw considering there was no ammo around in case something like this happened…
    Or maybe, idk, program your artificial intelligence to actually be intelligent…
    Each of these missions are fairly short, lasting about 15 to 30 minutes each…
    3 acts containing about 4 missions each and a few bonus missions not tied to an act as well…
    the campaign is about 6-8 hours long
    Decent length, but the loot system in this game encourages multiple playthroughs…
    When you level up or finish a level you get a new weapon… you can take your weapons and equip them, or take the ones you don’t want to a forge to combine them for something new or salvage them for upgrade materials for another weapon of yours…
    The problem here though that rewards feel far too slow for any of this to feel satisfying..
    It would be much more fun to level up in game at a faster pace, and weapons to be found in chests…
    Or at the very least keep the weapons obtained attached exclusively to the character you completed the quest with rather than a strictly random drop, this would actually give incentive to replay as each character, but this isn’t the case, so there’s no reason to…
    Vermintide is a great looking game..
    But there’s nothing here that you won’t get in far deeper rpg games other than maybe co op

    It's pretty much the same awesome game for PC but for console players. I WOULD rate this game a bit higher had I not be needing Playstation Plus to enter, but I still enjoy it as it is. At $40.00, I say it's worth playing.

    Game was very fun and is amazing when playing co op. Sad part is that it won't work for more then a hour or 2 without freezing or kicking everyone, would have been a great Left 4 dead Clone for ps4. Game is a technical mess after half a year and 6 patches on console tho. Grab this one on PC if at at all.

    This game is honestly so much fun. I wish more people would give it a chance. To the people that say that they are having "performance issues", I have not had a single issue. The only issue I have with this game at all is that I wish more people played it! And that isn't the games fault.

    Being a Warhammer fan and a lover of Left 4 Dead, this amalgamation of the two genres, to me, makes for an amazing game. Whilst it differs slightly from L4D with the aspect of unlocking weapons/ items and leveling up, the core gameplay is pretty much on L4D's level. You HAVE to work together!

    The only reason I gave it a 9 is due to the fact, that when it was initially released, it had a    Being a Warhammer fan and a lover of Left 4 Dead, this amalgamation of the two genres, to me, makes for an amazing game. Whilst it differs slightly from L4D with the aspect of unlocking weapons/ items and leveling up, the core gameplay is pretty much on L4D's level. You HAVE to work together!

    The only reason I gave it a 9 is due to the fact, that when it was initially released, it had a game breaking bug which was the invert axis was properly unstable and there were match making crashes. Since the update though, everything seems to be working fine.

    A truly recommended buy if you love L4D, and to me, the added bonus is that its set in the Warhammer universe. And for the price... it's a steal!    … Expand

    Personally I don’t know anything much about Warhammer, so can’t speak to that side of things, but as a game this just isn’t very good. The focus is primarily on melee combat, but with hordes of enemies flooding the darkly light environments it’s hard to even know what’s going on at times, and attacking seems to be just a matter of mashing the R2 button over and over. When also you factor in that 99% of the enemies are identical, the end result is that there is just essentially no satisfaction to be found in the combat that makes up the entire game.

    Outside of maybe any big Warhammer fans I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone.    … Expand

    Graphics, It looks ok but it does look a bit rushed to console they will need to they will need to give some touch ups here and there.     Sound, it's there. not much to say. when you hit the enemy makes a death sound as the fall to the ground. music is near non-existent I hear more of the deaths and your boots on the stone then I here the background music.

    Gameplay, It plays as a Left 4 Dead clone in the Warhammer world or at least in this town being over ran by walking talking giant rats. You play as 1 of the 5 classes in the game, Witch hunter a fencer style preacher looking guy, Empire Solider a heavy weapon smashing guy in knights armor, Dwarf ranger which is basically the sword and shield guy with a crossbow, Waywatcher whose the ranger with a bow, and Bright Wizard whose the magic wielder.
    All of this is great except you cant have doubles in a group so if someone chose the Waywatcher it'll say sorry you need to choose a new character or stay in queue for another 10-20 min. Yes the queues have gotten that bad before.

    Combat, it's pretty much just run around slash, bash, shoot, stab wildly till everything's dead for the most part some times you'll need to pick up items and take them to a point.

    Overall, its a basic game I'm sure the game was a good idea when Left 4 Dead first came out and everyone loved it.    … Expand

    Great game few default but no big deal at 40$ its worth graphically its very ordinary since I had no expectation for that aspect it doesnt bother me. Whats great its the mele fighting good fluidity it is very good it could have been better for the characters upgrade weapon but again no big deal fighting and slaughter lot of big rat troop with 3 of youre friend while you can talk with themGreat game few default but no big deal at 40$ its worth graphically its very ordinary since I had no expectation for that aspect it doesnt bother me.     My mate and I love it but the in-game chat needs to be tweeked. As it can sometimes work fine but other times be way too distorted and crackly. Spoke to other gamers and they experience the same, that's my only complaint apart from that its bloody good fun.

    Servers don’t work. Lack of communication from developer. Would not buy as you can’t play without logging in

    As a big Warhammer fan, I was very disappointed with End Times - Vermintide. The controls are clunky and the AI is dumb as f°°°. Also the console port is disastrous! I can´t really recommend it, even though you get some hours fast shooter fun.

    About a year after the original release for the PC, console users may now enjoy Vermintide as well. The game is most enjoyable with 3 others, as the bot's AI leaves a lot to be desired. If you are into co-op and like a challenge, this is for you.

    Warhammer Vermintide reach PS4 and Xbox One one year after PC market. And it is still a great co-op action game, set in the amazing board game universe.
