    Some good ideas as an isometric puzzler, but the lack of interesting level design early on along with none or minimal checkpoints plus plenty of fair and unfair ways to die quickly prevented me from getting through even the first chapter.

    Taken as a whole, Vesta is a pleasant enough experience but it’s an experience that has been done so many times, and so much better, in many other games.

    Vesta is a puzzle and an arcade game that stands out, among others, for its graphical design and humor. Although the gameplay is not brilliant and lacks a cooperative mode for two players, it deserves to be played.

    Vesta was an absolutely delightful way to start off my gaming year. It’s hardly ground-breaking stuff but this is a solid, dependable and, most importantly, fun game. It’s all over rather quickly, but it’s a credit to the developers that this left me wanting more.
