    It's a good game for those who like the settlers and it has a very good controller support. It's very comfortable to build and manage the town. I like it and I can recommend that to everyone who likes the settlers and strategy games.

    Valhalla Hills has the potential to be a great game, but lacks the right connections between the main points. It's too easy, and lacks in story.

    Valhalla Hills tries to bring The Settlers II gameplay up to snuff but while it improves in some areas, it completely negates some aspects on what made The Settlers II so much fun in the first place. Building and autonomy is done decently well but with the lack of continuation and multiplayer makes it pale in comparison. Its price for entry is very worrying too and doesn’t help matters.

    If you’re in desperate need for this style of game, then you’ll probably find some redeeming qualities – just don’t expect a very deep experience.
