I think this is by-far one of the best titles you can play on the PSVR at launch. Affected by the "screen door" effect but besides that, I feel like this game is VERY immersive. You're basically playing a midway style horror game, how much better can that be?! It's not super spendy either so for a launch game I think it's definitely a strong game from Supermassive. By far one of the crowd favorites at a recent VR party, Rush of Blood is easy for newcomers to understand, mostly mild on sensitive stomachs (though the roller coaster segments can be a challenge), and is a great showcase for how VR can completely transport a player to a fully-realized different world. While not the longest game in the world, at a $20 price tag, it's not worth passing up. Expand

For the price tag, this is probably my favorite ps vr launch title. You're going through an abandoned amusement park shooting targets and other creepy targets. I got some motion sickness during the fast movement of the roller coaster, but not overwhelming and didn't last long. My only knock on this title is that reloading so many times an start to hurt your wrists.

Sitting in the cart looking are the guns in your hands feel really realistic with the Move controllers and because the track is mostly straight its easier on the stomach.

The main frustration with the game lies with the difficulty. I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to die that defeats the point but it should be easier. On many of the levels I died in the same place multiple times, you then have to relive the same jumps scariest and gruesome scenes, which is now just unpleasant and the initial scare is replaced with irritation. Particularly when friends try out a level they just give up at this point if they fail a few times because the adrenaline is lost and replaced with frustration.

Ultimately this is a fun ghost train that creates tension and fear throughout. VR obviously has good potential for horror and this delivers the cheap thrills.

The reason being that no matter how you play, you'll still feel immersed. The Move Controllers make the experience better, despite them being a little shaky, but that isn't the game's fault. If you're playing with a Dualshock, you'll still have a blast. Even though you won't feel like you're holding 2 actual guns, you'll still feel as if you're riding a roller coaster, which was probably the developers' intention. It's very cheap, too. It's $20 right now, and you'll get a nice 3 hour experience out of it. So what's the issue that prevents this from being a 10? The multiplier. Anyone who plays video games regularly knows what a multiplier is. It improves you're score to help you level up or do other things. But this is an on-the-rails shooter we're talking about. The multiplier doesn't belong there at all, as the way the game is paced prevents you from keeping a consistent score. The overall score doesn't matter too much as the only thing it helps you do is get on the leaderboard. But as a whole Rush of Blood isn't a perfect game, but is a perfect VR game. If you're looking for the best PSVR game to play, get this one. 8/10. Expand

Even if at first it seems like there is no story to the game, it apparently keeps the trademark of butterfly effect, but I will leave it to you to discover what exactly are the choices that will change your gameplay experience.

A must buy for the VR, worth every penny, maybe the only downside to the game is that it relies to much on jump scares without realising that a bloody clown running towards you with a knife is scary enough.

This is an excellent action / horror game for VR. It doesn't make me nauseous like other VR games and it is a good implementation. It got to do with sitting still and the roller coaster moving you. The PSVR is a low end / affordable headset but I hope they will update its screen resolution in future versions.

I went for VR Worlds and Rush of Blood, an Until Dawn spin off. Now I remember seeing a big Internet games site saying they'd played Until Dawn on PSVR but it wasn't the game you were hoping for. This statement was so far off the mark, in fact Rush of Blood is not only brilliant, it's my first AAA VR game and the game that in fact made me happy about my £349.00 investment. And you know what? It cost £12.00.

    I know what your thinking, a £12.00 game justifying a £349.00 purchase? you're mad.
Maybe I am or maybe the developer just nailed that feeling I wanted, that, 'I'm in the game feeling.'
When you boot up the game you're greeted to a slow move down a track up to the title screen. This was the first time I yelled out in VR. My wife sitting behind me startled at my shouts of anguish, ticking me off for my bad language. As you draw up you're greeted by a familiar face. You set-up to use a DS4 or two move controllers. If you don't own Move controllers........Stop. Turn off the game and buy some...........return. Rush of Blood needs to be played with Move controllers. Simple.
Set-up your two motion controllers and stair. This is the first strange sensation you'll have in VR. As you turn your hands your hands on-screen will turn in perfect simulation but instead of controllers you hold guns. Your brain feels controllers but your eyes see guns and this is it folks............virtual reality. It's a surreal feeling and one that will at first confuse. You have that in the game feeling and one that I will remember and talk about for years.
After you get used to being in the game the familiar face of Until Dawn has a chat with you and before you know it you've started on the ride of your life. Up, down and hurtling round tight corners blasting everything in sight, it's just brilliant. You have so much to do and different paths to take on each level. I can't say too much about the game itself as it would spoil some of the things you come across. Fans of Until Dawn will love it but everyone else will enjoy it for what it is. A thrill ride. The ultimate ghost train ride.
Rush of Blood is a must buy for PSVR. A showcase in fright mixed with high octane shooting thrills and the game that will amaze you if only to see your arms on screen doing things only possible in a game, a virtual reality game.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood starts out swell, slowly teaching you the gameplay mechanics while staying within the creepy haunted house ride theme. But as the game progresses the flaws really begin to show. Between the lack of interesting enemies and the basic shooting gameplay it’s just not that entertaining and falls flat. I found that fighting my way through seven levels was more of a chore than a fun gaming experience. For $20 there are better games out there. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is game you can probably live without playing. [Tested with PlayStation VR]
