A real gem of a title, Unmechanical has great 60fps graphics, a great soundtrack, a unique atmosphere and a good collection of puzzles to work your way through. Amazed there are no other user reviews of this yet, you're missing out.

Intriguing puzzle game in 2.5D. It's not too challenging once you find out all the mechanics present in the game and how to use them to your advantage, and the game isn't too long either.

A slow paced 2d puzzle/platformer, with the focus very much on the puzzle solving, Unmechanical is decent enough (especially as it is currently free on PS+) but if you’ve ever played this type of game before you’ll find no new ideas whatsoever and, as is always the case, some of the later puzzles are just too obscure. As a big fan of Rochard, which it I heard it compared to, I thought I would like this but this game just doesn't have the same charm as Rochard. Rochard had an interesting character versus Unmechanical that just has a voiceless blob going through and environment solving puzzles. Not bad but puzzle games need more to hold my interest these days.

A great way to waste a few hours, but not quite offering enough to make it a truly great puzzle platformer. The puzzles are all rather simple, and the game is extremely short, even with the extended edition. Doesn't do anything that other game haven't already done better.

Fun short puzzle game. I actually like these games short, as they usually get too frustrated if they are long, short and sweet is the best. The game is a standard puzzle game with an interesting story.

Anything new, but I really liked the setting and atmosphere. It's some buggy, but it's worth to play once it is short. Not for puzzles, but they also are simple and clever. I found some similarities with Journey: simplicity, implication in the story. Good short game, and its good because its short.

A nice puzzle game with a short gameplay which doesn’t get repetitive.
It doesn’t have a very vivid story. The soundtracks are fine. The atmosphere is interesting.

A good puzzle and adventure game that doesn't bring anything new, but it's plain fun.

A rather lovely reminder of how satisfying a good old fashioned puzzle game can be without squeezing your brain dry of every drop of spurious logic. [Apr 2015, p.87]

Unmechanical: Extended won't blow too many people away, but I don't think anyone can doubt its heart is in the right place.
