-Has some great shootouts, especially the bosses
    -Teleportation movement causes little issues

    Cons:
-Graphics on dialogue cutscenes however, look rather off
-Story is just as, if not more convoluted than it was in the first game
-Characters are just as fogettable and has little personality
-Off-putting voie-acting (which can be said the same to almost every chinese games on the PS4)
-While some shootouts were fun, some where tamer than others and were mostly boring corridor shootouts
-Music is passable but forgettable. Unless you really like generic trailer music, don't expect yourself to go back listening the music again and again
-Score system feels rather redundant since there's no challenges, rewards or even trophies tied to it
-Difficulty options suffers the same as the score system
-Can be 100% achieved in 2-3 hours.
-Can get a bit repetitive on some parts

Is not a great game but it is definitely a marginal improvement over the first one, which was basically 80% tech demo. If you love rail shooters, I recommend this game but maybe not at $20. $15 or less should be the better price. Since the 2-3 hour ling campaign really is the only thing the game has it going offer, I really won't see myself playing the game regularly, especially when there are other better rail shooters like Dexed, Until Dawn Rush of Blood, or even Mortal Blitz.

In general, everything in Unearthing Mars 2 is extremely mediocre. There is nothing here that would not work completely (maybe apart from interludes), but there is nothing here that would make this game stand out. Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War is an improvement on the first Unearthing Mars, but the impressive visuals writes a cheque that the lacklustre gameplay simply cannot cash.

Honing in on the original game’s most effective sequence doesn’t do much to elevate Unearthing Mars 2. Dull shootouts and a story that’s both too boring and incomprehensible to follow put the game’s impressive production values to waste. Unless it’s willing to put in the time and effort to create more engaging content like the mid-game boss fight, Winking VR best abandon the hope that this could ever be PSVR’s premiere sci-fi franchise.
