Not bad for a spin-off. It is not the height of the 4 but it does well. Cost € 10 on offer, I can't complain. the lacking point is just the longevity ... but it's still a spin-off.

What a pleasant surprise this has been. I was really missing Chloe in U4, but Naughty Dog had other plans for her. The story was amazing as well, joined by tough Nadine and another returning character that I dont want to spoiler. As it is "only" labelled as a DLC, it kinda lacks adding something new though.

A great spin-off to a great series! Gameplay and graphics wise, it is the same as Uncharted 4. However, the story here is more consistent (but not as grand as UC4). Set-pieces are well designed but are mostly homages to set-pieces from previous UC games. Overall, a highly entertaining roller coaster ride.

Naughty Dog is famous for their story-telling so I expect more in depth narrative with Nate ex partner here but turns out its way too generic. Uncharted 4 has a very good flow and plot that as you progress you can start to see the whole picture of the game and fully invested in Nathan Drake. With Lost Legacy, I cannot feel that kind of attachment to Chloe Frazer as the reason behind Lost Legacy is way too generic which is a story about father and daughter.

This game also kind of promoting the movement of women empowerment which not clearly spoken in the game but quite fit with Uncharted theme. Although, I have to say the plot of the story and the value that the game tries to deliver is way too weak. Uncharted 4 has a better way of delivering the message to the audience about the whole plot in that game.

This game is clearly better that the 1st Uncharted but not as good as the 2nd and 3rd Uncharted. When you good at one aspect of the game, we kind of expect more and Lost Legacy falls short on its story-telling compare to the other Uncharted games.

Chloe's and Nadine's relationship through out the game I feel was done well but at times it felt like whiplash on how quickly they would switch stances on each other, like one moment they are all buddy buddy and then next they hate each other but it's a slight nitpick for me. More Uncharted 4, with an slightly worse level design and a less engaging story. However, the gameplay and some combat situations remain as excellent as in the main entries of the franchise. Definitely a must play if you enjoyed Uncharted 4 and, in general, if you like third person action adventure games.

Chloe Frazer in particular receives more character development in this game, which makes her much more interesting and three-dimensional for players. Her backstory and personal motivations are explored in an engaging way, allowing players to better connect with her. The relationship between Chloe and Nadine is also well crafted, with conflicts and evolution that add layers to the narrative.

While character development is one of the game's greatest strengths, the main story of "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" may leave some players wishing for more depth. The central plot, involving the search for an ancient artifact, is relatively simple compared to previous games in the series. The lack of a villain as memorable as some of the series' previous antagonists is also noticeable.

The game shines in terms of environment design and scenarios. The exotic Indian landscape where the story unfolds is stunning and provides a picturesque backdrop for Chloe and Nadine's adventures. Exploring these environments is an essential part of the gameplay, and players can spend hours admiring the spectacular views while solving puzzles and facing enemies.

Petty good addition for UC4 but worst UC title in franchise. Female characters are fail... QT action scenes not necessary, too much walking and climbing and final train battle is too long and a little boring. On other side, game is not hard on crushing so easy platinum to get. Cons:
    * It's a rehash of previous Uncharted games. No new mechanics, locations or anything. So feels like a cliche of a cliche.
    * Nadine is a buzzkill. All the dialogue with her is meh.
    * This game is too realistic to the point of being boring. Like taking photos during sightseeing? Seriously?
    * Half of the puzzles feel like a chore not like fun.
    * Also, I hate fights with Asav so much, oh my god. I was dying again and again for no good reason.
    * In general, there is simply no attention to detail or real conflict here. Feels more like a solid DLC than a real game.

So Uncharted 4 was a major disappointment for me. It introduced a great new character (Troy Baker just can't do wrong, even if he tried to), but threw the lighthearted pulpy vibe overboard and literally killed the franchise by putting a lid on it for good.

However, when a game with Claudia Black as Chloe Frazer comes along, you just can't pass it up. Unsurprisingly, she's just as great as ever and makes for a tremendous lead. (I wasn't impressed with Laura Baileys Nadine Ross in U4; here she fares a little better.) But if you played U4, you know exactly what you're gonna get with LL. It's... okay. Just more of the same, it plays and feels exactly like the Libertalia part of U4.

Nevertheless, if you manage to trudge through four of roughly five hours, when the duo becomes a trio (no spoilers here), the game really picks up. The lighthearted banter returns, the dynamic between the three protagonists feels great, the actors play off each other really well, and in the final chapter, which is nothing short of a love letter to the second Uncharted game, the gameplay really becomes fun all of a sudden - and the epilogue actually manages to develop as much charm as U2's (the game's, not the band's) epilogue.

As I said, it's really just more of the same, but I'd recommend LL for the last two chapters.

However, this time around the primary characters are a little more human, a little less chest-puffing action hero, which was a welcome upgrade in tone. Voice acting and script are excellent throughout.

Since this basically an overgrown DLC, there are no substantial changes to the core game mechanics of ledge-climbing and rotating-pattern puzzles, and no change to your combat pattern of "stealth killing until the stealth screws up, then start shooting". There's a new (but underused) lock-picking mechanic that is just like every other lock-picking you ever saw. The other standard tropes of the genre are present, from "ledge that collapses when you grab it" (which the game leans on just a little too often) too "just narrowly escaping by running from collapsing ancient city"; the bad guys are still trying to dynamite their way to treasures. etc etc.

It's all still tremendously engaging, thanks to the stunning environments and characters brought to life by excellent voice work & script. Where the game falls flat is in some of the repetitive later battles, and a final boss that is little more than a series of quick time events.

My playthrough was ten hours on hard mode (including the Queen's Ruby side-quest), which is not great value for the sticker price, but I received the game as a free download for the U4 deluxe pack, making that a much better value item so thank you Naughty Dog.

If you have played Uncharted 4, you are likely going to dislike this game because its story is not as interesting as in the previous title. Moreover, game design and level design seem to be "a little bit" limited at some point, but that is just my observations. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this game to those who enjoy PS4 exclusives and Uncharted games.

However, the main characters were not ideal for a spin-off game. True, Chloe was kind of okay but Nadine felt like a fish out of the water ("Oh you are so unprofessional" hehe). I don't have a problem with female leads, but it just didn't work for me. The combat system offers nothing new and the gameplay options of the player are very limited. The Lost legacy emphasizes more on stealth combat. There are some huge AI problems but they didn't really bother me. What I missed was Nathan. His absence was big and his gap could not be filles by the other characters. Even the cameo character wasn't enough. Also, I was disappointed that Chloe felt like a copycat of Nate in terms of moves.

I comprehend that the team had a limited time to create this 9 chapter game, but the truth is, I was a little disappointed. Not so much from the game since it's a pleasent, more action packed way to spend your time, but from the fact that I had the feeling that the creators didn't put much effort to it, so they followed a trustworthy formula.

In short, it's a nice game with interesting story but uninteresting characters. It has all the key elements that we love from the uncharted series, however it doesn't succeed to take a step further for the series. I am not interested in playing a new game with Chloe and Nadine. I'm hoping for a Cassie Drake game after The Last of Us 2.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy feels like a cool idea that took a few bumps down the tree when it comes to execution and wounded up still fun and enjoyable, but perhaps not as clever as it lets on. Should you play this as your firstUncharted: The Lost Legacy feels like a cool idea that took a few bumps down the tree when it comes to execution and wounded up still fun and enjoyable, but perhaps not as clever as it lets on. Let me first establish that a 7/10 in my opinion is a GOOD score and is worth recommending, but that recommendation is ONLY to Uncharted fans and only them. Should you play this as your first Uncharted game (even if you played Uncharted 4 prior to), you will have no idea who anyone is or what references of the past games are mentioned. If you want to spend $40 on anything related to Uncharted in that department, play Nathan Drake's Collection instead. Let me go into a bit of depth of what pros and cons I saw on my run through the campaign (since the multiplayer is tied to your Uncharted 4's account as is survival mode so there's no need to rehash them aside from they are decent but not anything to hit home with).

Naughty Dog is definitely strong in art direction, voice work, mocaping characters and having good music that adds to tension. The standard combat and stealth is from Uncharted 4, including the grappling hook and climbing picks, which is good and solid, but much like Uncharted 4 there is not much complexity to it that I feel that does wanting more interactive ways of engaging targets will be very disappointed. If we structure the story in three big acts, I'd say the first act is decent, the second act is slightly better and the final act is great. The final act in particular is a nod of the previous games but manages to mix it with current mechanics that felt desperately needed in the previous acts (I'll explain shortly on that). Claudia Black as main protagonist Chloe Frazer nails it with a nice synergy and chemistry to Laura Bailey's Nadine Ross that makes their quips, dialogue always mature and pulls the right punches that gave me chuckles at unpredictable moments. I really like Asav as a the villain, because unlike ALL the villains in the previous Uncharted games, he has a goal that is not half assed like Navarro's reveal, not as generic or cliche as Lazarevic, concrete to Marlow's mysticism and understandable unlike Rafe's reasoning. It's funny that in a game that doesn't have Nathan Drake in it, this was the strongest and most believable villain out all of them. Now for the cons.

The story, while simple in its premise and checks off the boxes for effort, doesn't seem as good as someone who loves good plots and stories would see it. It reveals alot about Chloe and Nadine, but I feel that the way they are revealed and shown can be awkward and a bit forced. They also follow very cliche even trite parts that made me groan and scoff at when as I hit certain points. Without saying any spoilers, it was incredibly stupid and just trying to give fanservice more than staying true to its own sources. Another issue is the first act; at first it starts out strong but after the opening level in India to the big open are to explore, the pacing and enjoyment went down more and more until I was bored halfway through the giant level. Naughty Dog, you make beautiful landscapes, but save yourselves the trouble of constantly backtracking and going to places and making combat have no depth to it as we explore the ruins. It just felt like major padding and was considerably bloated as a result. The second act is a bit better, but suffers from alot of climbing and puzzle sections with a dash of Chloe falls off something, grabs a conveniently placed ledge scattered in about 10 times. Sorry to be a broken record, but it was boring and was lacking major action moments that wouldn't pick up until the final act. Overall, it was okay and only one great moment that was already in a previous game that did it better on top of that was my big takeaway.

Maybe that's the problem with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy: it uses fanservice as a bait switch for players to lose their minds over things and nods they knew before instead of really going above and beyond to make it a standalone experience. I understood that this was originally was suppose to be a much smaller DLC, so it's good the game is 8-10 hours long (you don't normally get that with a story expansion much anymore) but the greatness in that trek was very limited. Fans will buy this and acclaim it all they want, but as a critic I feel the need to stand up to nostalgic rose tinted glasses trite and look at my enjoyment mixed with the flaws and improvements the game has that deserves to be judged on its own merits. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a good expansion story and is a recommendation for fans of Uncharted, but for any other onlooker, this is a definite wait for sale or "rite of passage" by playing the four Uncharteds before you have any reason to try this. It doesn't push new ground unfortunately but stays solid enough where it keeps itself firmly in place.

Firstly, Lost Legacy has been my 2nd favourite Uncharted (behind uncharted 2). but it has a big issue...
its only 8 hours long :|
If i recall correctly Uncharted 2 and 3 were about 3 times the length, as they should be. Sadly as I was just really getting into this one it started to climax very prematurely. I was like, naaah this has to be the end of the first 1/3rd or somnk, but it was not.
Theres just a single section of jaw dropping statue filled caverns, and though it is a joy it is over too soon, then its back to the more tedious parts of uncharted: generic jungle, jeep driving and such.

It nearly felt like a demo it was so short. Turns out it was originally going to be DLC for Uncharted 4 which makes sense of its short length. Still though, its a real shame.

What the series always delivers is a cinematic, bombastic and beautiful gaming experience and this is more of the same. The main (only) key change is having Chloe and Nadine, two of the series most interesting secondary characters, take centre-stage in lieu of Nathan Drake. This is such a welcome break and the two new protagonists here are tougher, more likable and more complex than Nathan ever was. It was a joy to see their companionship grow through the game and I would definitely not be against them taking up the next few entries too.

Replacing the continent-hopping grandeur of the main series games, this episode focuses on a single semi-open world location, the Indian Western Ghats. This is a stroke of genius given the underlying theme of the games - exploration and treasure hunting. Uncharted 4's Madagascar section gave us a taste of what to expect, but the Ghats are more stunning and alive than anything seen before. Of course, there are more linear tomb/cave/car chase sections interspersed, but the mid-section exploring the environment was a joyful experience, with plenty of collectibles and Easter eggs.

Gameplay is standard Uncharted and mostly works. I always find combat sections in Uncharted really unfairly weighted, and indeed this is no different. Firefights often boil down to repeatedly dying due to some gattling gun wielding foe and trying again and again til you find a way round. Stealth seems a bit broken, and I experienced more than a few niggles in the general maneuvering controls. Ultimately, it is functional, and gameplay is far from the strength of these games. Marveling at the absolutely ridiculous graphics, working out some truly clever puzzles, scraping through meticulous action set pieces by the skin of your teeth, this is what these games are about.

While not groundbreaking in any way and occasionally frustrating control-wise, this is a fantastic way to spend 6-10 hours and is as close to playing an action-thriller movie as you'll ever get. The shift in narrative focus away from Nathan is going to do wonders for the series, as Chloe especially is one of the most charismatic videogame characters I've ever witnessed. However, for Uncharted 5, if it comes to be, there needs to be some new mechanics introduced or an even more extensive open level, as it is definitely under risk of becoming one-note.

Uncharted The Lost Legacy is a good game, solid story but the game feels like a DLC to Uncharted 4. That wouldn't be a bad thing if it was a DLC but because its a stand alone game it is a bad thing, it does get very boring after a while because it feels like your'e playing an Uncharted 4 rip off.

The gameplay is just as good as Uncharted 4; although a little redundant. The addition of it being more open-world than linear certainly gave it a noticeable change of pace, however. While I like the dynamic of Chloe and Nadine, the absence of the regular series main characters was still quite palpable. All in all, a solid addition to the franchise.

    CONS:
    - Lost Legacy takes place all in one small area. And it hurts the game.
    - the combat still sucks, but because it's lacking other things that make the other games in the series so great the crappy combat stands out even more.

The game rarely feels repetitive, every puzzle is different from each other, and there is also an open area in the middle of the game where you can explore, which was implemented very well.

As for Chloe and Nadine, they make a pretty nice duo, where's Chloe is likeable and a goofball, Nadine is the opposite, she's aggressive and focuses on her mission. I liked their chemistry and I think both characters work very well together.

And now for the negatives, the story isn't necessarily bad, it's just very generic and there are no stakes. Also, in my personal opinion, the biggest flaw the game has is that there are barely any highlights in it, almost no action except from the last chapter, which is a complete letdown considering how the action is literally the best part about this series.

Overall it's very solid, and for its size it's definitely worth checking out, a great stand-alone expansion.

    Final Rating: "Good" ~ 7/10.

It is kinda unbelievable how much I liked this game since I didn't like to play Uncharted 4 and I was wondering if it was worth my time but this game really surprised me in a positive way.

The biggest thing I didn't like about Uncharted 4 was its pace. The story was so slow and there are many parts that were a walking simulator or a climbing simulator. It was so tiresome. In Lost Legacy these climbing and walking parts are way shorter so it isn't so tiresome, additionally, the story isn't so tiresome either, while in Uncharted 4 there were a lot of dead ends until finally finding the treasure, here it is way faster.

Also, the combat is much better, although it is similar it has some additions that make it a lot more fun, like some weapons with silenciator and stealth killing by jumping on the enemy from above.

And different from Uncharted 4, even the ending was a lot more fun. The beginning and the middle of this game are like 6-7/10 but the ending is 10/10 (the 2 last chapters from the 9 that Lost Legacy has). The ending has adrenaline and unbelievable scenes non-stop.

Emphasis on the scene of the two protagonists (Chloe and Nadine) beating up the villain in a synchronized way and then fleeing from the train that was going to fall off the bridge.

When I was playing this game I was wondering why couldn't Uncharted 4 be so electrifying too.

I rated 6/10 because the story and storytelling is subpar and feel very forced. While Claudia Black and Laura Bailey (VA of Chloe and Nadine), definitely need to be praised for their fantastic performance. The characters however, are unlikable and can't possibly be more egoistic. Chloe constantly acts like that annoying boss, while Nadine ego is bigger than that of Donald Trump. The pair has some chemistry, but it's ultimately overshadowed by the overpowering crap, they're too perfect in combat, too badass that make you feel like you're playing an Anime game with a teenage girl that can slaughter everybody with Her mega gigantic battlehammer!
Unlike Tomb Raider/Rise of Tomb Raider, where she gets beaten, get overpowered by someone else, get tricked, yet still fighting for it, cuz she's strong and smart, her character is also genuinely nice and very well developed! That's how you made a compelling realistic and grounded story!
In short, if you want a game with female lead, PLAY Rise of the Tomb Raider! instead of this **** It pains me to say it cuz i'm a huge Uncharted fan, but it's what it is.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (from now on UTLL) started life as an Uncharted 4 DLC but it was expanded into a full game. It's a shorter and leaner entry in the series, cutting some of the fat, but doesn't bring much new.

UTLL is the same Uncharted you know and love, with a few gameplay additions. Stealth plays a bigger role in this game relative to Uncharted 4 so you've got the silenced pistol and more high grass to hide in, while enemies have the same triangle indicators to let you know when you're about to be discovered. But I mostly enjoyed the open map where you can freely explore locations in any sequence with the jeep. This area is littered with little puzzles and platforming challenges.

But this is where positives end. UTLL is just another Uncharted game, same old same but less of it. Big set-pieces are fewer and lesser than in previous games. Don't expect anything as bombastic as Uncharted 2's train sequence or Uncharted 3's airplane scene. The jeep's handling is weird and buffled me compared to Uncharted 4, and it's too bad they didn't add some environmental puzzles with the jeep's rope. This game's supposed to be more open, but invisible walls (or knee-high obstacles that are just impossible to jump over) make an appearance. Last but not least, this game's story just doesn't have Nathan Drake's charm. While Chloe and Nadine have some nice dialogue and character progression, they can't possibly carry a game on their own the same way as the trusty trio of Nate, Sully and Elena. Also Sam Drake's inclusion is so much forced that feels out of place. Final boss is another forgettable Uncharted boss.

Overall UTLL is a nice entry in the series, but it's certainly not the best. If there is a new Uncharted game in the future, either a sequel or a reboot, I just hope Nate comes back. And gameplay needs some serious re-design, like God of War re-invented itself.

The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is pretty much the same (shooting has some improvements) but for me the biggest mistake was the inclusion of Nadine (maybe the worst character in the Uncharted franchise) as a supporting role which makes the story less entertaining.

It's a character that a lot of players didn't like in Uncharted 4 and they weren't interested to learn more about her. The promotion of this character is clearly due to Naughty Dog's intention to become more progressive and include a minority badass woman (African American). This is a very noble cause but they forgot the most important: good writing. So they made her a caricature and the character development that they attempted in this story was very cliche-predictable and it didn't make her any less annoying. As you understand it's really hard to enjoy the journey when your partner breaks your nerves constantly and you don't care if she will live or die in the next scene.
Chloe is also a minority badass woman (American-Indian origin) but Chloe is actually a well-written character.

I think that if they had chosen the following pairs: Chloe-Elena (two awesome female characters), Chloe-Sullivan-Sam, Chloe-Cutter, the story would be much better with more enjoyable banter, more humor, more exploration in their relationship and the fact that they know each other would also had an bigger impact on the emotional level, for the characters and the players. Finally, the 40€ is too much for a DLC that doesn't offer something new so i suggesting to wait until the price drops.

    The game looks great
But there's not much to tell you what's going on it you miss it or when you load up
A mission log or even a map would help
Chloe is far to much like Lara Croat to The point I forgot I was playing uncharted
    Definitely a poor model choice.

It's a decent game. I played Uncharted 4 and the sense of adventure was better than this one. The only things I really liked about this game was the views, architecture, Nadine and Cloe's sense of humor, and as you get towards the ending the action picks up a lot and it gets real intense at times. On the other hand Nadine and Sam are super dumb in combat. I give it a 6/10.

An enjoyable enough game, with some exciting scenes at the end. Very much like Uncharted 4 but with a less exciting story.

Graphics are great looking in some places although items in the distance are blurred and there is texture pop up. The 30fps frame rate really shows in some scenes. The 3d in this game, even with motion blur minimised, gave me headaches and I had to play in

The 3d in this game, even with motion blur minimised, gave me headaches and I had to play in 20-30 minute bursts.

Some of the interaction between the characters grates at the start and in the middle but gets better at the end.

The more "open world" section with the jeep was frustrating to navigate.

If you like Uncharted games you'll like this. It was well worth the £6 I paid but I did find it reminded my of my typical frustrations with Uncharted games - looking great, a few simple puzzles but really just button pressing in most of the right places (and sometimes they have to be exactly the right place).

Обычное дополнение к Анчартеду, сделанное по тем же лекалам. История довольно посредственная, персонажи мне не нравятся, я бы с большим удовольствием поиграл за Елену. Короче ничего особенного

Too femen. Bad men and strong and independent women get over all difficulties

An all in all mediocre game, which does nothing great and nothing terrible.
I don't get all the complaints about the protagonists, though. They aren't that bad, and make for a pretty good cast for a side story.
The stealth, however, is terrible and the shooting isn't great at all. Without the autoaim, every difficulty higher than normal is unbearable with a controller. The gameplay got

The gameplay got me so bored that at the end I put everything on easy and turned the autoaim on, because I just wanted to get to the end of the story.

My opinion is that this game was recycled from Uncharted 4, It's the same maps, the same landscape, it doesn't change almost anything. Cliché story without salt. The studio was lazy this game and bad dlc for Uncharted 4 nothing more.

    4. Oyunun ek paketi olsada önceki oyunun üstüne neredeyse hiç bir şey eklememiş. Yinede güzel bir oyun, Son chapter baya iyi

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I just defeated Lost Legacy on hard and it was fun, but it felt the same as Uncharted 4. There was not much changed except that they added a few guns. The melee was also the same. The story was pretty basic much like Uncharted 2 or 1. They made Sam Drake look like a babbling idiot, so that they could make Chloe and Nadine look strong for some dumb feminist message. The villiain was also very 1 dimensional and was pretty boring. Though it does have the high paced action you expect from Naughty dog games, it still feels the same as Uncharted 4. I think this should've been a DLC to Uncharted 4, since it was pretty much the same gameplay and it was also pretty short. It took
me about 9.5 hours to beat this game, but that also included a lot of exploring. so I could've easily beated this in about 5 hours or so. If you're a hardcore Uncharted fan you might enjoy this, but I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone else. If you are going to play it, then I recommend you play it on crushing since it is very easy on other difficulties.

Can't call it the Game, it's more like a big DLC. Nothing new after previous part, the story is predictable, characters aren't so interesting (impossible to compare with Nathan&Sam). It's even too short to be considered as a stand alone game, I've completed it in 4 days. Definitely not worth a full price!

Entediante, devido a maior parte do jogo se passar em um só cenário. Gráficos bonitos e só.

Beautiful spectacular game and ... but repetitive repetitive repetitive like Uncharted 4 only the characters are different Somehow I knew what would happen in a few moments but the last stage smells good to me similar to Uncharted 4

Despite the poor narrative, there is some fun to be had throughout the 9 or so hours it’ll take you to beat Lost Legacy. While it’s definitely not the globe-trotting adventure of a full, numbered Uncharted, this expansion has a few great moments of its own.

The Lost Legacy is a great, breathtakingly beautiful action adventure game and its only substantial weakness is that it fails to reach the stellar level of A Thief’s End while heavily relying on old tricks. [11/2017, p.60]

The Lost Legacy is not as great as a real new part in the Uncharted series, but as an insanely expansive stand-alone DLC it's more than successful. We will always miss Nathan Drak, but hopefully Uncharted will continue in this form for a long, long time.
