    Please keep in mind that I do not have internet capable of online gaming.

    The game says that online play is optional. It may have well said that it is required as what is available offline is very limited and completely awful. Tutorial to start with teaches you mechanics of the game which seem pretty cool. However for the most part they are useless. One of the most useless mechanics is the ability to take cover behind walls. You are fighting zombies, ZOMBIES! They don't shoot you at all. What exactly are you taking cover from? Another is the melee weapon known as the Brainer. Game says it's a powerful weapon, however meleeing a zombie with just the butt of your gun kills them in one hit anyway. No point in using a slow melee weapon that does the same thing. You are also able to crouch and lie down to be more sneaky. There is no stealth, zombies notice you as long as you are near. There is also something known as a Jammer that prevents the zombies from noticing you. However it is only introduced in the tutorial, other than that it is never used.

    The offline mode known as "The Experiment" is a series of very repetitive and boring missions. Kill zombies again and again and again. Normally I love killing zombies and blowing them to pieces, but the play style and clunky controls ruin it. Also it shows what loadout you will be using in the mission. No idea why it shows you this as you can never customize it. As you play through The Experiment, you will unlock things that can only be used online. Other than that there is no progression or any sense of accomplishment.

    In short, if you can't play online do not bother buying this game. There are no bots and the online play being optional is pretty much false advertising. I saw the game I wanted to play and it basically said you can do so without internet. It is garbage.    … Expand

    Absolutely awful! Has no redeeming features and actually made me angry! Ive been robbed. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME Its trying to exploit your love of ResEvil and its appaling. :(

    Capcom has made plenty of great "Resident Evil" games. Unfortunately, "Umbrella Corps" isn't one of them. This competitive shooter is enjoyable at first, but quickly becomes a repetitive, poor excuse for an e-sports title. Matches are brief, combat is lame, maps are small and modes are limited to a few types. Single player is an extended series of boring challenges. This is certainly noCapcom has made plenty of great "Resident Evil" games. Unfortunately, "Umbrella Corps" isn't one of them. This competitive shooter is enjoyable at first, but quickly becomes a repetitive, poor excuse for an e-sports title. Matches are brief, combat is lame, maps are small and modes are limited to a few types. Single player is an extended series of boring challenges. This is certainly no "Rainbow Six Siege"! At $30, it's twice as much as it should be. There's nothing included that justifies that price. Capcom simply slapped a brand name on a low-quality product to make a quick buck.     Should this even count as a spin off to resident evil? When i played this game i felt like i was playing a alpha version of resident evil 6. Dont get this game unless you love to torture yourself.

Оптимизация очень плохая.Есть несколько режимов,Одна ЖизнВ и Миссии 4 Выживших. The Experiment,одиночный режим,в котором на нас закидывают кучу зомби,которых мы должны убить,удержать точку. Карт в игре не много,их можно посчитать по пальцам.

    Just another failure RE title by Capcom. When this company gonna give up wasting money on such trash installments and learn that they can't fooling people like that ?..Gameplay is extremely horrible and broken! Pretty sure the fps gonna give you a headache.

The camera is way too close to the character and feels uncomfortable, but gets even worse when you snap into a first person aim down sight perspective to aim. The maps pretty much all come from old RE games and were not designed for competitive multiplayer. The characters move absurdly fast forThis game is abysmal. Feels like a very cynical cashgrab. The weapon balance is terrible. Pretty much everyone would be exclusively using a shotgun and the brainer as they are both one hit kills. Zombies are there but 90% will not attack you due to jammers. This means monsters largely do nothing but get in your way. There are single player missions, but they are not fun at all. They seem to be mostly to practice controls.
    Oh and if you want to play as any recognizable RE character, that will be an extra $15.

In assenza di uno specchietto retrovisore (un pulsante per guardarsi le spalle c'è ma lasciamo stare..) è impossibile prevedere certi attacchi: tra l' altro l' energia è ridottissima ed è facile soccombere senza sapere il perché anche dopo pochi secondi.
    Visivamente il gioco si difende a malapena, i modelli poligonali sono belli e dettagliati ma soggetti a compenetrazioni di ogni tipo, e tutto ha un aspetto scialbo e poco rifinito. Le geometrie di alcune location poi non sono state aggiornate e tutto ha l' aspetto spigoloso di una paio di generazioni fa.
    Il gioco online può risultare anche divertente, ma là fuori è pieno di shooter competitivi migliori di questo, per giunta anche meno costosi.
    Non uno sfacelo totale ma quasi: per quanto mi riguarda sono stati 30 euro buttati al vento.    … Expand

    The single player in this game could have been totally left out. It is the same thing over and over again. Its pointless with no real goal. The multiplayer is mediocre at best and there is really nothing new to see here. The last thing i have to comment on is the over the shoulder camera angle.     Disappointing "effort" from Capcom. This game is absolutely awful and should have never been green lit. Graphics are straight up garbage and look like they were ripped from a PSP.

    This title is so poorly made, it should have been a PSP title, with just the PVP portion added. Everything about the gameplay SCREAMS beta and is shows no signs of fine tuning or refining! Just look at the multiplayer, where you can CRAWL faster than RUNNING! Not only that, you use all of you equipment doing so!!

    Looking at RE5 and 6's mercenaries modes; UMB Corps is BEYOND TERRIBLE!! The single player is NOT challenging and BORING.

    (LONGTIME GAMER HERE and I've played some seriously underappreciated games with garbage graphics and STILL loved quite a few of them!)

    The only reason I gave this a 2 is because the concept is a different take on the RE world, but one not to take serious as the survival horror games. That, and there were some signs of potential in the multiplayer, despite it being a choppy mess of an experience.

    For shooter fans, this game is a joke. For fans of zombies, its a waste of time. For fans of the Resident Evil series, its like the developers took a big steaming sh*t on their lawn and set it on fire!    … Expand

    As another RE fanboy, how can I say about this? Capcom with no doubt disappoint their loyal fans again. Simple and frantic gameplay, terrible network performance as well as the graphic. Perhaps the only good news is that it's price, that is something could make little refund of our lacerated hearts

Even for those that do enjoy online competitive shooters, there might be a problem with redundancy and lack of content. So, for many, 7.5 may be way too gracious, even if this is their genre. For most, I would say thisHonestly, this game is a 7.5 for me, but if you don't enjoy online competitive multiplayer then don't even attempt at buying or playing this game. It isn't for everyone. Even for those that do enjoy online competitive shooters, there might be a problem with redundancy and lack of content. So, for many, 7.5 may be way too gracious, even if this is their genre. For most, I would say this game is a solid 6.5 just due to sheer lack of content. There are maybe about 10 maps, give or take, and there are only two main game modes: one life or mixed objectives mode. In one life, you have one life. Self explanatory, yes, but all online modes are conducted in a three versus three format, where the first team to take 3 wins first gets the victory. If there happens to be a draw in a particular round, then both teams are awarded a half a point. So, if both teams win 2 rounds and then there's a draw, then the score would be 2.5 to 2.5. In mixed objectives mode, there are many different game types that are shuffled about to determine a victor. Just think of your typical competitive shooters. The list is as follows:
    1. There's a kill confirmed (collars) round first to 15,
    2. there's a team death match (respawn) round first to 15,
    3. there's two briefcase modes (one has one briefcase that must be held onto by a team member or opponent for 60 seconds to win and the other where there are 5 briefcases and a team has to have all 5 in possession to win)
    4. there's two DNA modes (one where its a special DNA strand from a mutated stronger zombie and one team has to collect 3 samples to win and one where its first to 60 regular zombie DNA strands)
    5. there's a target hunter mode where you have to kill a specific target who will have a crown like shape over their head, also while trying to protect your partner who has the same crown from your opponents, first to 5
    6. and finally there's domination which is just search and defend a specific spot in the map, 60 points takes a win IIRC
    There's a 3 minute limit to all game modes, and the team with the highest score will win in each respective mode/round/match. That's the gist of the entire game. There's also a single player mode that's called "the experiment," which I haven't personally tried out just yet. With multiplayer, there are U-play awards that you get after doing something enough times (i.e. triple kill, or shotgun kills, etc.). The more you do of a specific award, the higher the medal you get. These bonuses will give you extra experience and help you level faster. The max rank is 60. Somehow, there's already a level 42. Probably someone who had early access or something, because no one is touching his score on the leaderboards. This game might get old to many who get bored easily or aren't into this kind of gaming genre. However, I found it quite fun and it is especially fun if you have a buddy or two to play with in the same squad as you. As with any other game, the more you rank up, the more you unlock goodies (equipment customizations).

    NOTE: I experienced a pretty nasty glitch. R2 wouldn't fire for me, and it severely lowered my K/D ratio, and also hurt my W/L ratio. I now have to play left-handed to where I switched the controls for R2 to zoom in (aim) and L2 to fire. Nothing is wrong with either one of my controllers, and I suspect it might have something to do with how I downloaded this game on Saturday at midnight (Friday night, technically Saturday 12AM). It takes awhile to get used to, but after awhile if it happens to you and you have to switch this up, you'll get used to it. It didn't happen to anyone else I know and there are no other complaints that I could find on a Google/Bing search, so it might just be a few isolated incidents. Then again, this game only became playable about 8 hours ago.. So, here's a preliminary warning, I suppose.    … Expand

    I started a mission and 1 second into it I felt that it was going to be bad. There is a single and multiplayer. You can use guns or melee weapon. guns are ok but the melee weapon is almost on par with the knife in CoD since it can 1 shot anything even in multiplayer. In multiplayer that's what you see most of the time are people running up to you and melee you.

As a long time Resi fan, I have grown to love this series, I've played the original and loved it, I played Resident Evil 4 and loved it and I played Resident Evil 6 and hated it! So, considering I love the Resident Evil games to death, I might be a bit biased in saying it's bad because it's different. But it's not all that bad! I enjoy these kind of multiplayer shooter games from time-to-time, but personally the third-person does kind of bother me, which is why I love the addition of being able to switch to first-person.The game just puts you into small battle zones with Resident Evil themes to them. There is a sort of single-player mode for people like me who like to play alone called 'The Experiment' which is sort of a horde mode across 20 stages, honestly, it's pretty fun and had a good time playing it. I don't know why people don't like this game but at the same time I can kind of see it too. From me, this game earns a solid 7, it's not bad and I really think you should give it a try if this is your kind of thing. For long time Resi fans, still take a look, you might enjoy it.… Expand

It should be free to play and even as a free to play game its bad. Mr. Game and watch is a better game made back in the 80s. Heck, this might go up there with such legends as E.T. for Atari. Rounds are short so even if you lose you don't get mad cause you just start up another round in less time than it would take to get a drink.     It plays like any other third-person shooter, with the exception of the jammer mechanic, which allows you to shoot a zombie jammer off the backs of other players, causing all the zombies to sprint at them like a fat guy after the last cupcake.

    The music isn't bad, and the maps are decent and varied as well (all taken from previous Resident Evil games!).

    I see a lot of people giving negative reviews, criticizing the game for the singleplayer content, but this game obviously was made to be a multiplayer experience. I haven't even touched the singleplayer, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the game, with some grievances that seem less and less noticeable the more time I spend with it.

    I do not understand why Capcom does not return to invest in serious games without being hunter-money orphans Resident Evil fans . No longer just the horrible Operation Raccoon City ?     Pros - Customization is very well done, graphics look good, maps are redone nicely and look great, fast gameplay on the multimission maps makes it seems pretty forgiving when you die to something stupid, lastly the game runs not terribly and I can keep 60fps with an R9 290 and FX 8320 despite it being an Nvidia title.

    Cons - Mouse control is completely terrible and there is no setting to change zoomed aim in the game, you can really tell that the game was made for a controller which ♥♥♥♥ing sucks, the zombies feel like cardboard when you shoot them which also sucks but they arent a main objective in the PVP modes anyways so it wont bother you much, last con I had was that it took me 10 minutes of going into lobbies and being kicked before I finally got in a game.

    All in all I think that they will fix a bunch of the network errors and hopefully a mod or something comes out that can fix the mouse, if these 2 things were fixed I'd say the game is easily worth $30 even as an RE COD its still pretty fun and will keep me entertained for a while.    … Expand

    This game is amazing in my opinion. While it is not the same as the survival horror games, it is a nice spin off. I find it interesting that you get to fight the BSAA as Umbrella Corp. And yes, you aren't umbrella soldiers shooting each other.

    -Variety of game modes, including DNA hunter, Domination, and deathmatch.
    -Can play as classic characters(if you buy deluxe addition)
    -Many maps from across the Resident Evil universe

    Cons:
    -Laggy, most likely my fault.
    -I feel like there should be a complex story mode, with cutscenes and bosses.

    Anyways, I definitley reccomend this game to anyone who enjoys action and Resident Evil.    … Expand

There only a few maps to play on and most of the customization is colors. The guns feel Amazing and its satifing to kill the zombies with.     Often don't always look for the enemy, and hard to find on a map as third parson shooter rather too monotonously system very interesting game of subtle and not so tired coming early PVP six at the same time against enemies, but their time is wasted, or draw against at least 10 people (five vs. five), is not worth buying rubbish than good works might be if you enjoyed the more versatile fighter

    Undoubtedly the worst game of the saga so far less bad than then came the Resident EVIL 7 to fix the error that had this game, this game feels without content to be a game based on the online mode, many bugs, a Bad camera, zombies appear very often and a camera very uncomfortable for the player.

    This game was a big mistake 3/10

    Bad graphic, bad control, bad sound, bad shooting, also the game was dead after one day of release... Fortunately i buyed this game at 5 euro, and I give it a 3 because I have some fun playing multiplayer into old resident evil map... And because i loves hearing DC Douglas voice as wesker again

    Umbrella Corps is another failed attempt from Capcom to capitalize on the current trend of team-based shooters. Aside from the locations and Umbrella logo, this game couldn't be further from the ideals established by Resident Evil in the last two decades. Maybe someday Capcom can find a formula that works, but Umbrella Corps is a cheap, uninspired, and unbalanced take on the genre that’s far too simple and messy to be worth the time. This game is a virus that should be avoided at all costs.
