There has been a lot of posts wondering if Trials Fusion Awesome Max Edition is worth its price so i decided to leave a more detailed review of the game to clear up some things.

First off, if you already own Trials Fusion and the Season Pass (all of the download content) then kicking the $10 bucks for ALM isnt really worth it but you'll probably do it anyway because hey, you love
There has been a lot of posts wondering if Trials Fusion Awesome Max Edition is worth its price so i decided to leave a more detailed review of the game to clear up some things.

First off, if you already own Trials Fusion and the Season Pass (all of the download content) then kicking the $10 bucks for ALM isnt really worth it but you'll probably do it anyway because hey, you love Trials.

If you've never played Trials Fusion then ALM is definitely worth the $40, as thers is so much content youre going to get. The game in this respect deserves an 8.
(Consider reading the Trials Fusion Review and then imagine all the DLC only improving upon it... Excluding 60% of ALM)

    Heres why:

Awesome Level Max comes with 22 new tracks. 11 Redlynx levels and 11 All-Star levels (best online creator's levels). 2 of these levels are rated extreme, 1 from Redlynx the other from All-Stars. Redlynx's side includes 1 skill game.
Out of the whole set there are a few gems from both sides but there are also some really poor tracks IMO. While some are great to look at they dont play well. Others are so dark they're difficult to see whats coming even after playing through them a few times. ALM is the only dlc that has levels that i actually hate (Ollie Pop being one), ill say that.
If you want 10 gems out of 22 you're already on your way to purchase this so you stop here. PLEASE, just stop here. Its your only chance! Okay...
The Redlynx side of levels each have 3 challenges (total of 30) but one of them for each level feels lazy (so really only 20). Each level's third mission is a simple "beat a time of 'X' on this bike to win!" This feels lazy because thats what the medals are for! The other challenges are the same as the levels, couple gems here and there but the rest... Eh.

Next we have the 8 adventure levels with the awesome gun toting kitty Mittens and the fire breathing unicorn Snowy the rainbow slayer. These levels all suck... Moving on.

... No i better say why i suppose. First of all the fire breathing, gun shooting and unicorn horn are not interactive so dont expect to impale youre way through any walls or burn down a bridge. Next, its very difficult to control because it operates like a bike, not a horse, so youll be flying through the air praying you dont flip when you land. Finally, the levels are absolutely terrible in every way. Dont believe me? Ask anyone else.
Redlynx, i am ashamed you spent money on that as opposed to just making more awesome levels.

Okay, lets talk gear. The download comes with 2 free uniforms and the rest are MICRO-TRANSACTIONS!!!??? I just paid $10 to just have the ability to BUY the majority of the uniforms? Wow. And of course, those are all of the good uniforms. The good news is at least females now have a little more options... If they wanna kick more cash of course.
They did the same thing with the bikes as well. "Here's two or three new bike skins (total) and 10 awesome ones that you can buy!"

(EDIT: Awesome Level Max includes 10 more supercross levels as well as 150+ new level editor objects. Forgot to add that.)

Now if you havent played Trials Fusion the $40 price tag is SO worth it for the other 160+ levels and countless challenges. You'll get online levels, Tournaments, a level creator, tons of rider and bike options, and a lot more! But this last dlc by itself? No... 6/10.
    Ouch. Redlynx. Ouch.

Although Trials Fusion is still my least favorite of the Trials games thanks to a lot of weirdness and off choices in the core design, the Awesome Level Max track pack is a great time, and I enjoyed the work on display here. While there are quite a few pieces of DLC currently available for Fusion, this one ranks near the top.

Folks who skipped the season pass but want more Trials in the vein of Trials HD and Evolution should consider downloading Awesome Level Max. It's a little on the easy side, but I appreciate RedLynx for trying new ideas and bringing back more of its unusual personality.

If 22 very well done tracks are worth your ten bucks, then yeah, Awesome Max DLC will appease; you even get a weird unicorn thing as added value. But if you’re coming to the package solely for The Awesome Adventure, I think you’ll be let down as it’s not nearly as absurd nor engaging as I had hoped.
