    Massive should be removed from this tittle they have completely lost it. Play if you enjoy bugs, gear sets that don’t work as intended, bullet sponge enemies that one shot you. Do yourself a huge favor don’t purchase this expansion it’s not worth any money.

    i do not want to grind old content over and over and over and over and over and over for a super tiny small mini cutscene or anything that resembles a game progress in hindsight of a story .

    the original story was "ok" but the "game pass" is a joke.. grinding hours upon hours of dusty old boring game modes in order to get to play against one of 6 recycled end bosses is **** at best,..    i do not want to grind old content over and over and over and over and over and over for a super tiny small mini cutscene or anything that resembles a game progress in hindsight of a story .

    The Warlords of NY DLC is a continuation of the mess that is the base game. You won’t find any redemption stories here. Massive continues to refuse to fix content, and releases untested, unfinished, messes of a game. It was so bad when the DLC first released you couldn’t even progress the story past the first story checkpoint because of an NPC issue.     Unbelievable imbalance useful gear drop rate against Heroic and legendary difficulty. Terrible bullet sponge philosophy. Quick react to user benefit bug elimination and the other way around for malicious (like Solid Line backpack 10s cool down actually 20s). Waste of money.

    Worst game ever, full of bugs and glitches, developers don't fix stuff the community asking to get fixed, continues nerfs to players builds to hender players progression and slow them, lack of content and community get punished for their incompetence and fail to fix glitches and bugs in-game. My advise save your money, effort and time and get other game.

    then release this useless dlc which can be finished in few hours hat was not included in ultimate edition which means u need to buy the game twice

    It’s going to be impossible to separate the huge gear overhaul from the expansion itself but it’s worth noting those are technically distinct releases. What it does is really great despite it feeling very much like a completely new game even though I actually really loved the old game. Returning to NYC with all the new enemy types is awesome! I find myself using tech skills I’ve basically never touched and incorporating the new skills more than I expected to. Never thought I’d replace my drone with a decoy but doing so has saved my life multiple times. I think the skills are all more viable partly just because all my old go to skills are more useless tbh. On the other hand it’s more balanced and therefore makes for more meaningful decisions. I play with my wife and until now our pattern was playing a bunch then I’d log in as her and put together a strong build within her play style - then repeat. The new system is so straightforward I haven’t had to do that yet. It’s just a choice between offense, defense, or tech. You can’t have them all now which is disorienting but made for a lot more communication as we sorted through new gear so I actually really loved that. Really excited for the future of the game again and thrilled to see their commitment to it. It’s yet to be known how satisfying the “seasons” will end up being but if nothing else we know that Massive is not afraid to rework anything and everything hah.… Expand

    Review as of 4/2/2020. The expansion takes you back to the origins of the franchise in New York. Sort of. The area you will be in is a new section of the Big Apple located on the South Side. A new campaign, new weapons and armor sets come along with 10 character levels to grind through as you work on a reasonably lengthy campaign. Once the campaign is complete the game consists of chasingReview as of 4/2/2020. The expansion takes you back to the origins of the franchise in New York. Sort of. The area you will be in is a new section of the Big Apple located on the South Side. A new campaign, new weapons and armor sets come along with 10 character levels to grind through as you work on a reasonably lengthy campaign. Once the campaign is complete the game consists of chasing the weapons and armor pieces for your all new builds. Solo players can match make for missions up to four other players. Groups of friends have the option to add random players or tackle the challenge solo. Difficulty levels can be increased for more rewarding loot drops and the open world difficulty can be adjusted as well. Unfortunately the DLC launched at the same time as a whole new armor and weapon system. This massive overhaul of the game core mechanics along with a new large DLC resulted in noticeable bugs, glitches and balancing concerns. Current issues include (among others) random disconnect from the game, skill items and gear set perks not working along with some current enemy balancing issues. While it could be considered game breaking, the real impacts are really only noticed around 40-50 hours in for the average gamer. A recent bug/glitch allowed players to manipulate in game systems to create very high levels of damage. A questionable decision by the Developer was to suspend these players for one week and roll back their progress two weeks. This understandably resulted in many of the April 2020 negative reviews you see here. If you do not have the base game, there is a tremendous amount of content to keep you busy for months ahead if you like this type of game. If you own the base game and enjoyed it, this is a great addition and worth the investment. For new players considering this game;
    The Division franchise is a cover based third person shooter RPG. While nothing seems odd about hacking or unloading 500 bullets into a RPG game with monsters or aliens, doing the same to a humanoid enemy is a turn off for some people. This game is not easy. Higher difficulty is currently borderline impossible but is very fun.    … Expand

    It's alright. I quite like the new gear system and I'm enjoying my time back in New York. Haven't had to deal with any of the glitches people have spoken about yet either.

    I just play solo on this so no co-op or pvp. Warlords looks nice with detailed environments much like we expect. Story dialogue blah, blah, blah it's just noise. The base game lasted me a big chunk of time. I spent a couple of weeks on it. This DLC done in a day wow so fast going through those bosses in Warlords.     The thing that made division 2 fun, was the power you had, the power that made you a Division Agent. Able to tactically fight off waves of enemies. Survive a battle without using a healing kit and being able to absorb bullets like how games should be. Then came WONY DLC. You can still have fun through certain methods like e.g. DMG Glitch. It made the game feel like back before WONY. but thanks to a company you can get banned for doing that glitch thanks to their mistakes but maybe you might enjoy suffering and struggling.… Expand

    I have played the first Division more than any other game (and I've been gaming for about 17 years now). Looked forward to the second Division... New update, all your gear is now obsolete. Change, change, then more changes to the game. Same thing that happened to the first Division.     Pathfinding makes no sense at all. You have to walk a specific trail to trigger a mission's Progress even If you are able to reach the same Spot by using a different path. The Missions are insanely long, no way to save or to rest in between because you Can't Pause the game. If you chose sniper as class you are doomed because you won't be doing **** against those heavy armored enemies.

    Unlike the DLCs for The Division 1, the WONL DLC does not allow share play for PlayStation gamers. I had purchased this DLC before knowing Ubisoft's preferential treatment to PS players. I am now requesting a refund from PS store. If you would like to do share play with friends or family members, don't buy this DLC unless you don't care about money.

Heroic you would see NPC with 55 million health. Bullets lol gone before they are dead. They took the nerf hammer to everything they could. They even stated they don’t want the player to be over powered. So leads to ask who is the Divison agent? Us or the NPC? The NPC have the best gear. Strongest health and armor. Now wait The Agents are suppose to be the good guys here top of the line. Nope hahaha. The developers even said they tested it before the release. They had all god rolled geared and said every one should have had this from day one. Day one? Huh well let’s see they destroyed all the gear. RNG went down the **** because of course they brought in more gear. Even though they said less drops better gear and rolls. Nope purple every where every mission no matter what. Then they worried about things that hadn’t been affecting the game but ignored the ones that have been there since day one. They did a ban. Now I don’t care if someone cheats. Used a glitch. What ever it isn’t like massive is giving 10k to the top guy. But they banned players who didn’t use it. And they have one guy who bragged about it made videos doing it and didn’t ban him. Not only did they not ban him they as in the developers joined his clan. Now if this isn’t rubbing it in the players face idk what is. RNG is trash. Gear drops with **** rolls but they want you to be able to move up in world tier. Now let me get this they said you ply on normal or hard you will get a lot or purple. So basically they push the players who beat the end game to make them feel they are staring over. Na. Now as for the bugs. There are tons and a lot more they still haven’t addressed. The DPS glitch came out man they worked on this right away non stop. But the revive hive took a year to address. Gear sets broken still not addressed. But DPS glitch oh we have to fix this. They released a patch yesterday of course they said they fixed the revive hive but have not. They only said it to calm people down over what they did to players and how they treat one as a king that did break the rules. Bullet register issues still have not been addressed. Massive says send us a video and the area it is happening. Duh it is happening all over the map. Instead of looking into this and fixing the code they just try to say it is only in one area. It isn’t it is the whole game. NPC now have invisible cloaking they don’t show up you get shot from? You tell me then die then they show up. Armor for the player doesn’t matter. If you want to be one shot every time in a game then go for it. They shot 100% accurate. They can dance skip hop do a back flip never miss a shot this is the NPC. Blind fire dead one. This is the new NPC. They build this game for PC then port it into a server and say it is good to go for console. Now here is the issue it isn’t. They take the pc data and say the game is in a good place while on console you are getting destroyed. PC had better control of the guns. Easy to hit the sweet spots so time to kill is faster console. Good luck. They don’t buff they nerf everything. You have a good gun and gear set poof nerfed oh someone is using this poof nerfed. Nerf hammer is real in this game. They stated before this game came out they would not repeat the same mistakes from the first one. Nope massive didn’t they made them worse. Matchmaking is broken, player base is dying off, developers done care. You have bungie putting them down for banning players for the mistakes of massive. Massive knew they cause the glitches and exploits but failed to address them until their pets on you tube promoting the game said something. They pay certain you tubers to push how great this game is but honestly it is like no mans sky when it first came out. Junk. If you don’t believe me look up 21 kiloton on you tube watch his video. Look of B2G look up Mr. MEME EK gaming these guys are pretty honest about the game and massive hates them. Games are fun not a job. Don’t waste your money save it for something amazing.     Added a new map and some missions, but you cannot feel New York, add gear and stuff but in a totally unbalanced way, add new bug to the game. Than the expansion put people who do not buy it in a bad position, they seem now ignored by the work of developers, the expansion is not so but its part of the game now and if you do not have it you miss part of the game, i think it’s unfair for me.

I’ve been absolutely in love with this franchise mainly due to the overall story and setting of the two games. Level 1-30 is a great time whether you’re solo or in a group but once you reach the end game it’s all downhill from there. Ubisoft I buy this game (and many more games from Ubisoft) I didn't get it for free. Division 2 is gonna be my last game from ubisoft. There is absolutely no respect to the buyers to the community no response from support team.     Made an account just to piss on the game. Devs can't even beat a hard difficulty mission and they are still nerfing all the good builds and drop rates. They have implement new bugs to players to stop abusing existing bugs. well have fun with your now what? about 10% of the player base you had.

    Overall, I enjoyed my time with the latest expansion. The level of detail on display is eye dropping, the enemy A.I. is still fun to battle against and most of all the loot just keeps coming. Whether or not I continue to play this expansion in today’s current pandemic with bullet sponge bosses remains to be seen when there’s more distant escapism to be had.

    Warlords of New York won't change your mind about The Division 2. If you weren't a fan of the open-world cover shooter with loot mechanics, the expansion does nothing to convert you, even if the simpler changes to loot stat readouts is appreciated. The return to New York is nice, as is the more open-ended approach to how you get to the final boss, since it gives you some strategy about when you want to get your new toys. The plans for the endgame future are the most intriguing, since we'll get to see whether it'll be enough to get people to stick around. In short, there's enough content in the Warlords of New York DLC to keep fans happy for a little while longer.
