    I think I enjoyed the storyline of this expansion more than the main game, it was really well written and I really enjoyed the murder mystery theme and it really expanded on the background of Halcyon and one of the corporations in particular. The only thing that let it down is there weren’t really any new enemies and the new science weapons weren’t great.

    An amazing DLC to an already stellar game, the new location was a great choice for this game absolutely loved the brand new story and characters for DLC and it was great that it didn't deviate from the original story.

    Decent RPG with an interesting aesthetic. It looks like a steampunk Lost in Space crossed with Bioshock. Gameplay is similar to Bethesda's other RPGs. Writing is mediocre, a bit better than the previous Fallout 3/4 games, but not by much. It's not as inspired as the writing for New Vegas though. Game was clean and bug-free throughout my playthrough. For Obsidian games it's usuallyDecent RPG with an interesting aesthetic. It looks like a steampunk Lost in Space crossed with Bioshock.     Combat became easy pretty quickly. It seemed like even the toughest opponents would die in a few seconds of sustained gunfire, although you could always die quickly too if you were not being careful. "The Outer Worlds" had a great amount of choice in dialog and story. It doesn't have the feeling of danger and survival when the Fallout games are at their best though.

    Review extends to all consoles, since the big problem isn't the platform. To quote Cohh Carnage's review "Hmm. That was a DLC." Agreed with him that the story was bland and underwhelming and easily predicted. Hopefully next DLC is better, but not sure I'm going to play it.

    Came out too late, but even so, not quality and not worth the price, if you have to buy it, wait for a bundle on sale so you can at least play the DLC without backtracking through a game you've likely already played.

    $15 for THIS? No. “Wait for Sale” but don’t buy full price. Can’t wait to see how this aditional content screws up the "already super smooth" Switch port, which was already biting off more than it could chew.

    Same problems whether console or PC - storytelling, lack of new enemies, loot problems, and a step backwards in writing quality. Not worth restarting the game, avoid.

    The hours spent uncovering a science experiment gone wrong kept me invested, not to mention the sidestories that were also available — if I needed a break from dangerous drug labs I could track down documents from a reporter, assist a search party, break up an argument in a bar and more. Players who enjoyed The Outer Worlds and are itching for a reason to jump back in will find Peril on Gorgon a perfectly good reason to do so — just try to refresh your memory as best you can first.

    Peril on Gorgon is a welcome addition to an already great game, that provides some solid, seven/eight hour-long adventuring for anyone wishing to dive back into some silly space jaunts. A meaty main story filled with gut-wrenching moral choices, fits very snugly into the already developed world. The most fun to be had however, as with the main experience, are the side quests. Getting to know Gorgon's bizarre inhabitants really develops the world, and every personality encourages missions to be completed to their fullest. A great start to hopefully a lot of DLC to come.

    The Outer Worlds was a fun series for 2019 but now feels incredibly dated just one year later. If you’re a fan of Obsidian Role-playing games like Fallout: New Vegas, there’s still a lot to enjoy between the harrowing storylines and corporate parody. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking, as it’s mostly more of the same.
