    Really good post-apocalyptic game. Absolutely not the best game in the world but it's a masterpiece. Gameplay is really nice and flows like water, the game on harder difficulties makes you really feel how scarce resources are in the world. One of the best atmoshperes in a game ever created. Everyone should try this game.

    Amazing game, amazing story with great characters. But as a horror game, it doesn’t do it as well as I thought it would. However, all it’s pros outweigh its cons, and I see why a lot consider this as one of the greatest games of all time. Would give this a9.5 if i could.

    Although to me this game isnt a 10 out of 10 and game of the decade. The game is still amazing and have nothing but good things to say about it. Even the graphics hold up to this day even tho this is a ps3 game and the ps5 is releasing in just a few months

    This game was first one that I played on my PS4 and I definitely made a good choice. Good shooting, perfect storyline, but it have 2 major problems:
    -Localisation. I didn't test ALL languages, but russian translation is awful.
    -Stealth isn't that good (Enemies doesn't trigger by looking on your companions)

    This is a masterpiece when it comes to building story, characters and relationships. The gameplay is polished, but quite basic/ uninspired, but it doesn't matter, because you'll be playing it for the story and immersion.

    A perfect story telling game in a simplistic and realistic way that allows players to be involved with all characters. The graphics, sounds and level design are done well holistically that provides the best immersive gameplay experience.     One of the best games I ever played. Interesting storyline and character development. It was really emotional and satisfying which made me playing without stopping. I was a bit upset that allies or people who you travel with are basically invisible and useless at most parts.

    I played last month this game i absolute love it. The story is the main catch and the gameplay mechanic so good executed. This was my first time playing this game after many years being out on the PS4. in this game Joel and Ellie stole the show so much chemistry between them in every scene. I highly recommended this game if you haven't played yet.

    Narrative driven games such as this one are my favorite types of game, the two main characters, Joel and Ellie, are so well written and consistent in their dialogue, I feel connected with these characters as If knew them at some point.     The gameplay is also great, the stealth kill animation to strangle is obnoxiously long is basically my only gripe gameplay-wise. A small immersion breaker is the ai for your companions. If you are sneaking around being quiet your companion will run at full speed towards you, it doesn't alert enemies because you're not making the noise but it's only a nitpick. The DLC is fine, it didn't add too much to the story, just kinda explained some things.

    When a game has me thinking about it weeks later, still going through my mind, again and again, that's how I know I was really enveloped in the story. A must-play for ps4 owners.    … Expand

On a technical level, the animations, graphics, and physics are incredible. As for the story, it is solid with the characters being charismatic. The gameplay is fluid and entertaining, until the puzzles interrupt it; MOVING STAIRS IS NOT FUN. That is why I would sayThis is a really good game.     Its not perfect but the story and the character work is some of the best ever seen in video games. Its almost more like a playable film than a game at times. Joel and Ellie's story is so well realized that I often forgot I was playing a game.

The gameplay doesn’t tend to get repetitive, as unlocked new weapons and equipment throughout will clear that issue up, giving you fresh gameplay every so often.     Great game. Really great game, which felt like playing a zombie movie. A truly great zombie movie that is. Some people say the trees in the game are 6 stories high. I think they are 7, but that’s another story. Speaking of other stories, watch out for the sequel, it’s a real bomb plot wise.

    Tremendísima historia postapocalíptica de "zombies", de mano de Naughty Dog uno de los mejores títulos exclusivos de PS4 y uno de los mejores que he jugado. Esta muy bien llevado el tema de que los "zombies" tengan varias fases de infección cada una mas peligrosa que la anterior, y que para eliminarlos haya que usar el ingenio y el sigilo, pues el juego da armas cada bastante tiempo y laTremendísima historia postapocalíptica de "zombies", de mano de Naughty Dog uno de los mejores títulos exclusivos de PS4 y uno de los mejores que he jugado. Esta muy bien llevado el tema de que los "zombies" tengan varias fases de infección cada una mas peligrosa que la anterior, y que para eliminarlos haya que usar el ingenio y el sigilo, pues el juego da armas cada bastante tiempo y la munición es extremadamente escasa. También me gusta mucho como llevan el tema de que en gran parte del juego son mas peligrosos otros humanos que los propios infectados, hay incluso algunas zonas que puedes pasar sin matar un solo infectado.
    La historia y su final son un 10/10 y a los personajes con sus virtudes y defectos se les coge mucho cariño. También incluye un modo online que no hay por donde cogerlo y tal vez para mi tiene algún aspecto en la jugabilidad no tan pulido, pero es insignificante comparado con el resto de cosas que ofrece el juego. 100% recomendado su modo individual.    … Expand

Yakın dövüşe geçildiğinde kameranın girdiği açı gerçekçiliği ve o anı yaşıyormuş hissini artırıyor. Geliştirmelerin ve craft'ın basit tutulması oyunun tarzına ve açık dünya oyunu olmamasına çok iyi uymuş. Bu bakımdan silah çeşitliliği de yerinde.

    Ellie karakterini çok sevdim. Küfür etmesi, dobra olması, geri vites yapmaması ama bunları yaparken ergen tavırlara pek girmemesi harikaydı. Güçlü kadın karakterin hastayız valla.

    Eleştirilecek üç şey var bence. İlki oyun en heyecanlı anda bile etrafınıza toplanabilir eşyalar koyarak insanın modunu düşürüyor. Ya tam birisi kaybolmuş ya da birisi bulunacak falan, acele etmemiz gerekirken yerden çer çöp görüyorsun, e almadan geçmek de olmaz. Bence oyunun hikayesinden ve yükselen tansiyondan koparan küçük bir detay bu. İkinci şey ise Ellie ile oynadığımız kısım. Tamam bu karakter öyle yaşıtları gibi (14) çıt kırıldım değil de bir alay insanı pompalıyla falan öldürdüğümüz bölümler oyunun gerçekçiliğine bir tık zarar vermiş. Üçüncüsü ise düşman çeşitliliğinin yetersizliği ve boss savaşının olmaması. Biliyorum bu tam olarak bunları aradığımız bir oyun değil ama bir iki tür daha zombi ve boss olsa fena olmazmış.

    Netice itibariyle, hikayesiyle, beklenmedik olayları ile, karakterleri ve oynanışı ile çok beğendiğim bir oyun oldu. Sonu da olabilecek en karanlık şekilde bitti belki de.    … Expand

    Awesome game.
    The characters are what makes this game truly special and memorable.
    Never the biggest fan of the gameplay because I find it tedious to loot around to find 3 bullets but this can be easily fixed with adjusting the game's difficulty.
    Soundtrack is superb. Simply remarkable.
    All this while offering some of the most visually pleasing graphics.

    An absolute masterpiece for its time. Spectacular world-building, character development, bond and breathtaking atmosphere. Game successfully manages to constantly keep player on the edge and delivers an emotional rollercoaster. The only flaw might be considered the fast pace at which the ending was delivered. End-game narrative felt a bit rushed.

    Bem, é a segunda vez que eu compro o jogo, a primeira cópia eu lembro que havia vendido, pois joguei o jogo em 2013 e os gráficos em 2014 não me chamaram a atenção visto que estava mais ansioso para jogar os títulos do próprio PS4, vendi, peguei novamente em uma promoção e estava nostálgico o suficiente para rejogar e não me arrependo em nenhum    A EXPERIÊNCIA DEFINITIVA DE THE LAST OF US
    Bem, é a segunda vez que eu compro o jogo, a primeira cópia eu lembro que havia vendido, pois joguei o jogo em 2013 e os gráficos em 2014 não me chamaram a atenção visto que estava mais ansioso para jogar os títulos do próprio PS4, vendi, peguei novamente em uma promoção e estava nostálgico o suficiente para rejogar e não me arrependo em nenhum momento. Essa é a forma definitiva de jogar TLOU se você nunca teve a oportunidade de experimentar essa Obra prima do entretenimento, tudo vai estar lá de forma completa, com gráficos remasterizados, 60 FPS, a DLC Left Behind, que eu sinto que poderia ser maior, até para as pessoas que só possuem um PS4 fat como é o meu caso, poucos defeitos existem aqui, como o stealth que as vezes parece um tanto como travado, mas isso com certeza seria pela evolução da mecânica da geração atual (2020), esse é um Título obrigatório na minha opinião para pessoas que possuem um PS4, e é fácil arrumar uma cópia com um preço bem legal.

    He podido disfrutar de esta aventura 6 años después de su lanzamiento y he de decir que los años no le pesan. Un argumento increíble, con unos personajes bien construidos los cuales empatizas fácilmente y una ambientación muy cuidada. Una experiencia única que me llevo.

    Amazing story and graphics, with great charater development and soundtrack, but the gameplay isn't so good compared to the rest of the game aspects. All PS4 players should play this masterpiece.

    The gameplay is truly innovative and is definitely the highlight of this game. Punching zombies is priceless. Beautiful story. The graphics, although remastered, are not exactly the best. The environment looks like just a bunch of polygons with some texture. you see the retouching but could have been done better

    Nice Game with a well written story. Despite having a few flaws the overall message and likability of the characters deserves a high rating. The Graphics are top notch. The levels are often tubular, so there is only one way to go. A more open design couldn't have hurt. The Gameplay is fun and I was not bored even after 20 hours.     This game is great. It's main quality is it's story. Until 2013, there had never been a game with such relatable and interesting characters. i never got bored of any of Joel and Ellie's conversations. The only flaw, for me, was the gameplay, which got very repetitive at a certain point.

    Been late to the party, but I couldn't miss this game.
    The story is not only very emotional, but it's also one of the most well paced stories I've ever played!
    The characters, especially the acting and the bond between the main characters is incredible! As well as the voice acting, facial expressions and the dialogue. The gameplay is great in my opinion; it's quite fun and I loved the fact    Been late to the party, but I couldn't miss this game.

    The gameplay is great in my opinion; it's quite fun and I loved the fact that you have limited recourses because it makes looting very important. You can craft in-combat, you can use molotov, nail bombs and improve your weapons too.
    The graphics are fine; it's definitely one of the best looking games of the previous generation.
    Also, the music is surprisingly good and the DLC was decent; it's not anything special but it's a nice addition.
    Unfortunately though, the side-characters are not as interesting as the main characters.

    It has been a while since I played this game, so not much details.
    The history’s development is well made, as well as the details of the game, no complaints. Maybe the characters could help you more often in encounters, sometimes they just watch. 8.8/10, for not being so unique, but having no problems and becoming so memorable.

    The game has a good design of tension and levels in a way that is limited resources.
    Until the end of the story that gives a lingering impression, I am impressed.
    Unfortunately, there is a bad sequel to overturn this.

    When I first played this game, I didn't think much of it. But there was something that drew me back to it years later. And now I'd say it's one of--if not--the best story in all gaming. Appreciated the voice acting and performances with each playthrough.

With an iconic pairing of Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson as the 2 main characters, the last of us was essentially the first game that really showed that video games can be a media for brilliant story telling. FirstIn 2013, Naughty Dog, mainly known for their efforts on the hugely popular Uncharted series, released their first ever zombie game, everyone was immediately blown away. With an iconic pairing of Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson as the 2 main characters, the last of us was essentially the first game that really showed that video games can be a media for brilliant story telling. First impressions from trailers showed a generic zombie shooter game like any other that was popular at the time, however once people explored the apocalyptic but also beautiful world centred around our anti-hero, Joel Miller and his young teenage side-kick, Ellie Williams. Their almost father, daughter dynamic allowed them to become extremely popular in modern video game culture, as well as being featured in Astro-Bot's playroom, a high honour no doubt. The Last of Us is a game about survival, and luckily this them is perfectly translated into its gameplay. Every fight on the harder difficulties feel like a genuine battle to live as resources are extremely scarce and enemies strategically locate and try to kill Joel. While some may find it tedious, nothing coveys a post apocalypse much like scavenging; thankfully you are immersed in the game world as you search every room hoping you will find that one bullet that will save your life in time of need. It is an understatement to say that Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson excel in their roles as the iconic duo and each do wonders in their roles. Overall, the last of us is an excellent game with good gameplay, heart-warming performances and quite possibly one of the simplest but best stories told in a video game… Expand

    This is a must-play game the visuals and animations are still great in 2021 the voice and normal acting is done great the skill tree and upgrades you can do to your guns and to the character heavily impacts the gameplay the story might be a cliche but the telling of the story and the characters make it so good the first chapter and the last chapters are great this game is my favourite game

    I have always been a PC gamer but for the sake of this game i bought a playtation 4. I think sony should bring their games to PC other than 2 or 3 studios' titles and Naughty dog is one of those studios. Thr last of us is simply a masterpiece and the remaster does justice to the original game.

Also, Naughty Dog managed to create a sidekick in Ellie that wasn't annoying and a victim that needed constant saving from Joel. The relationship that forms over time between Joel and Ellie is undoubtedly the best aspect of the game, many might think it's nothing special, but I like the way the relationship is portrayed, with both of them being wary of each other in the beginning and growing closer and closer together, which leads to a controversial climax at the end of the game. In terms of gameplay, the game surely isn't the most demanding game you'll ever play, but I think this game and games in general don't need to be. The environments are beautiful and most important realistic and believable and really convey the feeling of decay and loneliness. And even though gameplay is 'restricted' to sneaking around, shooting and crafting I found myself invested in the game at all times and liked to explore the world and the story. I can see why it's not everyone's cup of tea, but for me it's a solid 9 out of 10.… Expand

    Well, the game its pretty outstanding, awesome single-player campaign with a high rate replay value. You can go sneaky or make your way shooting the various enemies from the game. It definitely have some challenging parts, especially on higher difficulties. An unforgettable campaign that makes you care for the protagonists and their journey through the post-apocalyptic world. On all fronts, The last of us is not an overrated boring game which plays like Uncharted, it is a breath of fresh air with a really well done plot.

    I enjoyed the story greatly, the campaign is incredible, with characters you can get attached to, and a disappointment when the story ends, its a solid story. But the multiplayer I was not at all fond with, if you want a solid multiplayer experience, play Uncharted 4, it has a way more better multiplayer then this. Otherwise great game!

The thing to know is that the characters and story are genuinely top tier thanks to how Neil Druckmann created a person who is unbelievably relatable even going as far as to doing something normal people wouldn't do at the end. The thing to know is that the characters and story are genuinely top tier thanks to how Neil Druckmann created a person who is unbelievably relatable even going as far as to doing something normal people wouldn't do at the end. The enemies and zombies are unique meaning you need to be careful and pay attention what to do since some zombies (Oh sorry I mean to call them "infected" since that's what they're called in this game) could just be your typical zombies while a certain enemy could insta kill you if you're not careful especially if your ammunition is limited (unlike the Flopisto Protocol that apparently involves similar enemies and instead involves mindless hitting no matter the enemy type). Playing the game on my PS4 Pro still looks surprisingly good even nowadays but definitely not on par with the best looking PS4 games but that's to be expected considering this was a late PS3 game. The pacing is brilliant and keeps the story engaging (unlike the sequel but I'll talk about that in another review). The included Left Behind DLC is surprisingly good since it offers an idea what the other characters went through before this journey began and a certain scene which I personally don't mind and I can understand why people hate it, but DO NOT believe anyone who gives it a 0 just for that reason alone. However, the main problem I have with this game is with the included multiplayer Factions since while it's still a decent amount of fun since it uses the same gameplay as the campaign meaning it can be satisfying when you throw a molotov cocktail at someone or hitting someone with an upgraded melee weapon, this is only the case FOR THE MOST PART; the reason I say that is because due to how this is a remaster of a 2013 game on the PS3, the shooting and gameplay feel TERRIBLE since your character feels so stiff like when your character stops moving even though you never took your thumb off the left analog stick and it can feel unfair when they manage to kill you not because you didn't react in time, but because the stiffness and clunky shooting messed you up and it doesn't help there are some pay-to-win microtransactions (especially the shotguns as those are OVERPOWERED AF). Overall, while the multiplayer doesn't ruin the game for me, it definitely ruins the PACKAGE as a whole and I was actually glad they removed the multiplayer in the remake but that never stopped me from adoring this game from the bottom of my heart and speaking of that, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this game from the top of my heart IF you don't have a PS5 which at that rate, just pick up the remake but if you don't, why don't you already have this game already?… Expand

    A game that defines the excellence of Naughty Dog. It takes a tried and tested formula of a zombie apocalypse and crafts it into a touching journey, that lulls people into getting behind their characters so much that somehow they begin to rationalise the actions of a mad man mass murdering those trying to save the world. Written to perfection, this game defines great storytelling.

    I only played the remastered verson but from what ive seen, it does look like a decent upgrade. The story in this game is incredible and well crafted. I found the game hard to get into at first but that soon changed.

    Great game, story, characters, a great dark emotional game. People are reviewing this game poorly because of the second game which makes no sense at all, only reason I don't think it's a 10 is because the encounters do get a little repetitive but everything else about the game is great

    A post-apocalyptic road trip that offers a fantastic, riveting experience, where destruction and beauty, and hope and despair, get entwined in a way that’s nothing short of genius, The Last of Us is so good that its somewhat repetitive, and occasionally dull gameplay isn’t enough to rob it of its rightful place amongst the video game greats. Therefore, if looking for an unforgettable action-adventure, with strong cinematic sensibilities, and a heavy emphasis in adult, character-driven storytelling, look no further than Naughty Dog’s classic, especially now that the remastered version has made the original even more stunning.
