    Perfect game. Huge fan of original and this has done the impossible and is even better. Wonderful story telling and attention to detail.

    The entire game is about how far we will go to find inner piece within ourselves and others. I'll start with Abby because I find her character to be the most interesting. We are introduced to Abby after she has just woke up from a nightmare. Remember this because it is the whole theme of Abbys story. Remember this because it is the whole theme of Abbys story. Later on in the game we find out that the nightmares are cause by abby finding her dad dead on the floor. Abby is having these nightmares because she blames herself for her fathers death which is why she kills Joel. However, after she kills Joel, she still doesn't fins the inner piece she wanted, she still has nightmares about her fathers death. This is until we are introduced to yard and lev. After abby saves yara and lev, she finally gets to wake up from having a peaceful dream. She managed to find inner piece by helping 2 children. She saw hope in lev (remind you of joel). I'll talk about Ellie now because she is basically going through the same journey as abby. She is trying to find inner piece with herself because she blames herself for Joel's death. However, we see that Ellie is constantly questioning her actions throughout the game. She wants to find inner piece with herself and she thinks that killing abby will do that. However at the end of the game ellie spares abby. Why? Because all throughout the game, ellie keeps having these flashbacks to seeing Joel's dead body and the floor. She thinks that killing abby will make her find piece within herself. However, as soon as abby is about to be drowned to death by ellie, ellie stops herself from killing abby because she no longer has the flashback of joels dead body on the floor. Instead, she sees her and joels final conversation and how she really wants to find peace with Joel and forgive him. Which is the whole message of the game, finding forgiveness and pushing how far you have to go to get there. The game is a complex masterpiece. People are just blinded by their hatred towards abby.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is such a beautiful game. It includes unique storytelling, compelling developments and takes risks that are all worth it. From the start to the end credits - I found myself so engaged in the game and what feels like and is an incredible, cinematic styled journey. Definitely a must play game.     I have no idea why so many people feel that they push the LGBTQ propaganda so much. seems like most people complaining really never played the full game. especially when many of the reviews Came out on the first day. in the first game was Ellie a badass lesbian in love with a girl from a previously held down group. And here she is the same but unlike last time you hate her now. You really start to hate Abby and want all the pain in the world to happen to her. I love this game and I'm among the people who feel the LGBTQ movement has gone too far. I'm among the people who are called out for hatred towards the movement. But here is it executed wonderfully. the graphics the sound all of that is better in this game. the gameplay is way more smooth and fun and the dialogue is just as good.… Expand

    Microsoft must have paid a company to review bomb this place because all the user reviews are utter nonsense and basically cut and paste of each other.     I just finished the game for myself, and I can confidently say that in my opinion it is better than Part I and is one of the best games I have ever played. The game is very divisive, most people really hate it or really love it. You should definitely at some point give the game a chance and form your own opinion!

Complex story of three dimensional characters that explores the morals and consequences of choices. The antagonists are sympathetic and interesting, the environments are stunning, and the gameplay is tense, varied, and fun.     Despite all the controversy, this game hits you in the feels and changes your whole idea of what a game would be capable of. Playing as both the protagonist and antagonist is a very brave concept that Naughty Dog must be commended for. The story takes a second play through to truly understand and justify itself and is definitely not for people who don't believe in giving video games thatDespite all the controversy, this game hits you in the feels and changes your whole idea of what a game would be capable of. After all that's said about the form of narrative, the gameplay mechanics remain faithful to the original, while every aspect is enhanced. The sound design and atmospheric tension is extraordinary, and I don't think any game comes close to what the ambiance achieves with its horror and survival elements. The graphics is 'next gen' so say the least. The colour palette is fresh and is worthy of immense artistic merit. The lighting is incredibly rendered, with this being on par with extraordinary games like Red Dead Redemption II and Control. To conclude with, it's only a moment of time before the true feelings of the game is acknowledged and the preliminary hate goes away. This is a masterpiece. Definitely Game of The Year Contention. (Cyberpunk 2077, all eyes on you now)… Expand

    Good game. Everything is done perfectly. Fights in the game look great, each new fight is not similar to the previous one. In the game, painful attention is paid to the sound, special thanks for that.

    The first game was my favourite game of all time so I didnt expect the sequel to improve that but boy I was wrong it's an absolute masterpiece that has completely blown me away. They sumhow managed to improve every aspect of the first and its surprising a game can look so good on a ps4

    In Short TLOU2 is in my opinion one of the best PS4 games if not the best PS4 game of all time, the story is extrememly well written and the characters are very well grounded, the graphics are stunning and the gameplay copys a lot off the first game with added elements for example the ability to squeeze through tight gaps and enemys calling out to flank you.

    People are rating this game 0/10 after joels death. the reason for joels death makes narrative sense is as you play joel in the 1st TLOU you follow one man willing to do anything for Ellie his surrogate daughter (in a way). But as you play as Abby in TLOU2 you can see joel in a different light how he selfishly mowed down a huge majority of the Fireflys to save one girl and ruin the chance for a cure along with killing Abbys father.

    At the time where it cut to playing as Abby (The villain) i was wanting to get through it as fast as i could to get back to playing as Ellie, but whilst playing you notice there are obvious similarities between both Ellie and Abby, they are both stuck in a love triangle (Ellie with Dina & Jesse, Abby with Owen and Mel) both groups of people have someone who is pregnant and both characters parents have died.

    on the ending - at the time i was upset Ellie spared Abby but looking back on it i can understand why she did, these two characters and how much damage they have done to each other with nothing to show for it. If Ellie did kill Abby she would of spared Lev (Because Lev spared Dina and Ellie) and the whole cycle of revenge would of began again with Lev and Ellie (An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind).    … Expand

    Just PERFECT.. A masterpiece.. Even better than the last one.. I still can't figure it out why people didn't like it. Maybe they don't wanna like it.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
