    Vile and disgusting. Nothing more than agenda pushing smut. I wonder why your unable to shoot a certain religious symbol? but the game allows you to shoot all others hmmmmmmmm....

    Huge missed opportunity here.

    In a vacuum, this is an above average game and maybe a good game; however, this game does not exist in a vacuum...it comes as a sequel for one of the best video games of all-time with two of the most endeared characters off all-time. The standards for story-telling were set extremely high and this game fumbled it; there is just WAY too many plot holes,    Huge missed opportunity here.

The gameplay and the ND formula of false freedom of choice, level design and "puzzle" have not been advanced and do not make up for the entire story unfortunately.     Gameplay and visuals are great as well as the voice acting but the story is just so horrendous and an absolute insult to the first game that I can't dare to bring myself to playing it.

    Bad writings is bad. despite how good the games look, and some new additions it has. I've kept an open mind for it, I do love the franchise, I've platinumed the first game twice in PS3 and PS4. Subverting expectations is quite common nowadays in almost everything. great writers does it by giving audiences something they didn't know they wanted/need. the game failed miserably on that part.

    The last of us 2 is a perfect game, with flawless mechanics, flawless graphics, flawless gameplay, and story that goes very well with shocking moments and stable duration.

    You may have themes of some distaste with in-game policies but you can enjoy it with no problem even with these details present.
    I must congratulate naugthy dog ​​for making such a good game, definitely a great game.

    To be honest, I don't understand why a game has to be used as a means to achieve an end, rather than use it as an end itself.

    I dont care if the reason for doing this game was because the game devs got bullied because LGTB... i got bullied as a child for wearing big glasses, but if im in a creative process of a AAA game, lets say, LOTR themed, with a journey + big ending battle, I will    To be honest, I don't understand why a game has to be used as a means to achieve an end, rather than use it as an end itself.

    What do you have between hands? A Post-Apocaliptic and Zomied-ish themed game, shut the **** up, focus on the important stuff and put aside your traumas that will make the game less attractive for the lets say...vast majority? (3.4 score)? You got what you deserve.    … Expand

    За игру ты: плачешь, смеешься, восхищаешься красивыми пейзажами, сопереживаешь персонажам, и проникаешься неистовой жаждой мести, а так же играешь на гитаре любимые песни и катаешься на лошадках.    Игра потрясающая!

Stop ruining our beloved characters, Neil literally spits on Joel after she-hulk goes full golf town on him.. absolutely disgraceful, then expects us to enjoy playing as Abby???     It breaks my heart to write this, but I really did not expect such a poor story after all these years of waiting. While there were a few genuinely good moments, majority of game filled up with plot holes. It just took elements of what worked for the first game without understanding what made them compelling.     This is the worst AAA game I've EVER played. Made it about 10 hours in then gave up and watched the ending online. So glad I did. The ONLY reason this is a 3/10 and not a 0/10 is because the graphics are really good and the gameplay isn't terrible. That's the only thing this has going for it. The story is so completely boring.     Pros: -Game is gorgeous. it's imperceptible when it switches between cutscenes and gameplay. -The sound is good. -The voice acting is good. Especially Joel (Troy Baker). -You can customize the difficulty to fit your specific playstyle - a nice touch. Cons:    This game was such a disappointment on all levels. However, let's start with a positive - which is why I'm rating it 3 stars.

    Pros:

    - Mocap used here creates and uncanny valley effect and certain emotions appear very strange looking on character faces
    - Dead eyes
    - Jump scares
    - Did I mention unlikeable characters?
    - Did I mention hollow characters?
    - Repetitive gameplay
    - All of the zombies have the same scalp model SMH

    The biggest con is the story. l'm not upset that they had a heavy, unsettling, surprising storyline. In fact, that can be fun and interesting and thought provoking. The the characters and backstory are so unlikeable that you can't empathize with their reasoning. The result of that is just feeling (as the player) frustrated and betrayed. I didn't enjoy the gameplay and I didn't enjoy the story and I didn't empathize or feel connected to any of the characters or their motivations. It's a bad game. Druckman made it impossible to empathize and care about new characters whilst assassinating old, well-loved ones.    … Expand

    a mix of inexplicable emotions, the gameplay is great and the aspects of the first game are improved, the graphics are great, the story is good, in the end I didn't know if I really wanted revenge or forgiveness.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
