    I’m gonna cut this short, because you probably feel the same way I do. The graphics and sound are good, not as good as they showed earlier and compared to the first game which came out 7 years ago, but still good for a game. The characters and story are pitifully bad. But this isn’t anywhere near well. Far from it. New characters that they try to shove down my throat are badly done fan fic quality trash. Don’t get me started on the Neil Druckmann insert sex scene. 2020 continues to be an abomination on all fronts. Oh and one last thing, all the 10/10 reviews showed me that 95% of the game journalist sites are either bought out or wouldn’t know a perfect game if it came and bit them on their ass. Either way, massive hit to their credit. Massive hit to gaming. What a **** show this is guys. Shame.… Expand

    **** this dumbass game. To be honest, I'm alright with Ellie and Dina and all of the other gay **** But they killed Joel on the stupidest way and then made me play as the killer. **** this game.

    The first part was much better. This game lacks freedom of decision-making to change the story of the game. This is a major flaw.

    i didnt like the game . Part one was good . The most overrated game this generation.. the "critic" reviews are either fake or the reviewers are too boneless to say how generic the gameplay is and how terribly the story and characters are written

    This is awesome! Very inclusive all the way! Im in love with the game. The option for blind people is incridible! A good story!

    Great game and best experience ever

    Graphically is gorgeous Gameplay is awesome Story so dark and tragedy Yeah I wouldn't like to see LGBT eliminate But still it's so awesome and fun, one of the best game you may play One thing they improve among all other thing is the puzzles And somthing they removed, it won't rowing the experience but it was coll to see and that is the reflection of    Great game and best experience ever

    Game was way over hyped and over in a day. The story was cringy and uninteresting. A good portion of the dialogue was just unrelated to the story and solely for some kind virtue signaling. Really weird. The gameplay offered almost nothing new. The enemies were the same and everything was just like part one. I recommend a hard pass on this game until its in the $5 bin at Christmas.

    The gameplay and graphics are great, but when you're game is story driven and it has VERY sloppy writing, it completely ruins the experience you have playing. There were multiple times that parts of the game were either extremely boring, makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, and I wanted to laugh out loud at how poor the dialogue lines were. Overall, I think that this was an experienceThe gameplay and graphics are great, but when you're game is story driven and it has VERY sloppy writing, it completely ruins the experience you have playing.     You can have inclusion in games and movies, but it shouldnt be at the expense of the storytelling and already established characters. Combat is okay nothing that innovative but there are people who will be okay and might have fun with that the new enemies feel like a gimmick and less organic than i thought but they’re serviceable. The atmosphere is honestly inconsistent in execution, things just seem to happen and you’re along for the subpar ride. Subpar ride because the writing is not good sometimes i would daresay rushed and unpolished to the point it broke immersion multiple times when characters do things that history shows they wouldn’t do thats a case of poor execution on a part of the developers. And the slow sections just seem to drag this game, length could’ve been chopped up and it wouldnt have ruined anything. The new and i say that loosely characters honestly dont really stand out and even with motives for some they are hard to empathize with or relate to and very much unlikeable. It is possible to relate but the writing is not strong enough to do it. Also DMCA-ing channels for having a different opinion or exercising their right as a fan to speak out is distasteful and doesnt help your purpose. Take some responsibility for you actions. This game gets a 4 from me because take away the story the gameplay is an 8 (the story is a 2). 8 divided by 2 is 4 it’s mediocre. Can it still be a success yes but lets not pretend there are already games coming up that will be better than this and less insulting/divisive how did this get such high ratings really gaming journalists have some standards and hold these studios accountable when they do slimey things. Shock value for the sake of shock value is lame and lazy, Game of Thrones tried it everyone loved it until they started killing off characters those same people who liked it cared about,plus the writing was inconsistent and all over as well lets be real. Funny enough though....The difference being what Daenerys did if you really think about it (take the angry sunglasses off) given the history and context (despite bad writing laced throughout the entire show) makes more sense than what Ellie does in the end, thats sad. I know what you were trying to get at but c’mon we expect better from you Naughty Dog. Also please treat your workers better too many articles are out there saying you don’t.… Expand

    The game is incredibly good!!! The story is amazing for several reasons, one of them, is the inclusion of a LGBT character which represents loads of gamers. On top of it, the way the game involves the player makes us feel part of that world. Congratulations!!!

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this game, this doesn’t deserve to be supported. Is this the result of a studio well know for crunching its employees? What a shame.

    There’s only one thing to be grateful about this game: it made me decide that I will no longer buy PlayStation products. They were only good until PS3. TLOU2 sums up all of their mistakes in this generation. Naughty Dog never really knew how to handle the evident crisis they had while developing this. It shows in the final product.     The "Access Media" is at it again, selling their soul by pumping up a game just to stay in Sony's good graces.

    No wonder half their devs quit. The story is TRASH and political. So boring and forced, it actually feels like work.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
